We eat with our eyes first and that is very apparent as viewers, we see artistic masterpieces from Reynolds, but its objectively hard to judge without tasting. Reynolds wins all day if it was just based on appearance alone, but Amaury is correct in that Reynolds dish has too many cold elements, it looks like he did use LN2 for the crunch elements. The first bite is great when everything melts in your mouth, but on the subsequent bites it will gradually dull your senses and taste, what you're left with is just textures.

I'm rooting for Reynold because of his techniques, creativity and dedication. There's no question, he is a Dessert Master in my ❤ So I have to check why Gareth won. Reynold served both desserts where he thinks he will win the title, which is both frozen desserts which is his strength. Both different textures and different flavors. While Gareth, he served both desserts where his strength and mastery lies, layering and tart. It's just that Gareth's desserts were more different textures and more flavors because it was not only frozen technique, he did bake as well. If I will have a chance to eat 2 desserts in a row, I would choose the ones where I can have more different experiences with my palate including different temperatures. I do understand the judge, Gareth deserves to win that final round. Although, I was constantly entertained by watching Reynold do his magic in the kitchen.

I'm a Reynold fan just like everyone else but I feel like some people need to actually watch the video before bashing Amaury here. I actually agree with him. Having multiple completely frozen elements on a dish would ruin the texture, which is cruicial for a delicate dessert like Reynold's. I get everyone wants to see Reynold win, and while I think he's capable of that, this was not his best performance.

I can't give an honest opinion about him because I haven't watched and observed the judge from the very beginning of my MasterChef Australia watching journey. I subscribed and watched because of Reynold. Meaning my focus is on Reynold only 😍haha. But I think Reynold take all the judgement as constructive criticism. It will polished him to a total perfection. If the judge is jealous, well then it's his journey. There's a spiritual practice to treat your enemy as your spiritual friend. Compassion and kindness, you'll never go wrong because everyone is you. In this life on Earth, you create an antagonist to make experience more realistic. Same with a show like this, the hero needs an antagonist. But for Reynold, to win or not is up to him. What I meant is what's truly in his ❤Does he feel like a winner or does he deserve the result in all aspect? His journey is not end yet.

I'm a Reynold fan just like everyone else but I feel like some people need to actually watch the video before bashing Amaury here. I actually agree with him. Having multiple completely frozen elements on a dish would ruin the texture, which is cruicial for a delicate dessert like Reynold's.
