Thank you so much for the video. I am kicking myself for not paying extra for set up!!! I want to have this upstairs in my workout room but I think that’s going to be damn near impossible (at least gravity helps when going downstairs).
ive seen some reviews online saying not to take parts out of the box outside to move them inside like that, but how bad would it really be? I can definitely not move it in the house myself alone and it would cost a lot to get people to do it, whats your opinion?
@@drunkcarpenter5134 the issue is i gotta get it down one flight of steps, just checked out the video of them unboxing the package, the only big part is the deck, maybe if i could get a neighbor to help me out i could do it, the damn goconfigure company associated with horizon are horrible, never follows up so that option is gone, most moving companies have the minimum charge which really sucks as well
@@drunkcarpenter5134 its just too awkward, its currently sitting in the yard with the steps it needs to go down right next to it. i would need to buy a better dolly with a bigger size platform since the one i have is rather small, also maybe those straps to lock it in and would need help just lifiting the damn thing since the 200lbs is way too much for me, damn that horrible company goconfigure, was gonna cost only $149 but i guess it was too good to be true because these people do not follow up whatsoever
It honestly wasn't that bad, just make sure whoever delivers it puts it in the location you are going to be setting it up. I can't stress how heavy this thing is!
How's it holding up? I'm considering this one, but I need to be able to sprint on it anywhere from 8-10mph. It's marketed for HIIT training which is my style so I'm hoping it will work good for speed.
Hey, question wondering if you can help: I think a button is stuck on my Horizon 7.0 at, the display just cycles through settings when I turn the treadmill on, pressing the start/stop or any buttons doesn’t work. Do you know what could be the issue?
I’m glad I’m not the only person who can’t figure this shit out. If moving this thing doesn’t kill me and I have use of my legs I think it will be a great treadmill.
Set up mine yesterday with a friend. Treadmill turns on, incline goes up and down, but the running belt is locked. Even when I try to force it to move manually it won't budge. The running belt does move in the opposite direction when I push it manually. Any thoughts on what it could be?
Hey, mine came in and the first thing I did was hooked it up to power to see if it turns on and it looks like the red led light doesn't glow. You think mine's faulty?
Please be careful to not bang your head when jogging haha was stressed a bit for u there! How is the treadmill holding up? Was considering this this one or the t303 (cheaper cause broke life)
Picking up the T202 locally today. It's on sale directly from Horizon for $799 with free shipping, but they have a two to three week backorder. It's the middle child, with a beefier motor and longer tread than the T101 but smaller motor and slightly worse electronics than the T303. Was at the top of our budget, but for $200 more you get the T303 with 3-year warranty (versus one-year with T101 and T202).
@@kevinharter8643 Thank you! This info is very helpful to me. Like I mentioned to my husband, I didn’t think it would take me this long to decide on which treadmill to get.
@@bycfr08 LOL! I did quite a bit of research over the course of a couple of months. These models kept coming up as some of the best. We bought ours and assembled it last night. We were too tired to give it a real test after putting it together, but we’re happy with everything so far. Best of luck to you!
I suggest people look up reviews on Horizon before purchasing their equipment. It’s basically a scam company that you can’t get ahold of when your treadmill stops working
Weight loss does not come from exercise, there are no scientific studies to back that up. Proper intake of whole unprocessed foods, eliminating grains and dairy will help with weight loss.
Do not purchase this! The assembly is just the beginning of the nightmare. It comes to a dead stop mid workout, frequently. And, customer service? WHERE?
Thank you thank you thank you! This was an invaluable resource to have watched before assembling our treadmill!
I just got this....and oh my its super heavy. Am glad you have a maintenance video because am a mess right now trying to assemble it 😀
Glad I could help! I hope you got it together and working
Thanks for the video. Very helpful saved me some bucks.
Thank you so much for the video. I am kicking myself for not paying extra for set up!!! I want to have this upstairs in my workout room but I think that’s going to be damn near impossible (at least gravity helps when going downstairs).
Does the 150 dollars for set up include them moving it to where you want?!????
Fantastic video. I'm actually going to disassemble mine for moving.
With beer holder no doubt
Any tips on transporting this? Watching your vid to take apart. Buying a used one.
Love the bud light at the end. 😂
putting it together was the workout lol not looking forward to that part when I order mine.
How did you get it down the stairs? Mine was just delivered and I’m trying to think of the best way not to break it🤣🤣
A dolly would be your best bet, or 3 strong friends but that will cost you a case of beer 🍻
Lol so I set it on the stairs. Had someone and the top and slowly went stair by stair.
Thank you for the video! I need to set mine up!! How do you like the treadmill?
Have mine for over a year now, use it about 3-4 times a week. It's holding up great! Make sure to check out my maintenance video for treadmill upkeep
Anyone experiencing a squeaky sound while using it? It seems to be the lock at the bottom of the treadmill that manages the folding of the treadmill.
I will follow your instructions and tips. Mine is still sitting unboxed for two days now. Wish me luck.
You can do it!
I tried moving the treadmill from the room to the garage and the latch from the incline released and took a chunk of my chest skin out 😆

That's what I did... Didn't make the deck any less heavy though. The best bet would probably be leave it all together and use a dolly

How did you put the incline down when you got it??
I just got mine today and I can't seem to get the incline down either.

Ok, total honesty question as ours is set to arrive tomorrow, and we are putting it together ourselves. How bad was the installation process?

Thanks for the video 😃 How long did it take you to put this together? Total time?
Maybe 2 hours, the hardest part was moving the box it came in

It goes up to 12mph and a 15% incline
So much for using the incline your head is almost hitting the ceiling already

I would try to loosen or tighten the belt, you can watch how to do that in my treadmill maintenance video
@@drunkcarpenter5134 thank you! Or you can check to in between the belts to make sure there isn’t packing material catching the belt! Doh!
How long did it take?
Around 2 hours
I’ll provide beer if you set mine up 🤣 upstate NY and currently has a 6 pack missing one on it
Sounds like your on the right path, good luck!
Did yours work? Mine don’t and they sent me another one. Same thing
Man ,I should have paid the 150 dollars for set up.
Does the 150 dollars for set up include them moving it to where you want?!????
Were you able to connect this machine with fitbit or any other apps?
Not that I know of, but it does have bluetooth so you can hook up your music and pay in on the treadmill speakers
Do you know how to reset the "Lube Belt" Message on the 7.8 AT treadmill ?
most horizon treadmills its by holding the speed up and stop button together for 5 secs when message is displayed
Hey, mine came in and the first thing I did was hooked it up to power to see if it turns on and it looks like the red led light doesn't glow. You think mine's faulty?
I would try hooking it up to the top computer part of the treadmill, hopefully with that attached to the track it will work.
@@drunkcarpenter5134 yeah that is what I did and it’s working. Looks like the power button’s led doesn’t work
Thanks for your suggestion
How is it going so far! My T303 comes next week. I paid to have it put together bc you know laziness.
It wasn't putting it together that was the hard part, it was moving it to the basement

Did you lube it first or is already factory lubed ?
You should lube it yourself before use
1:52 lol cute
How did you go from 1:29 to 1:47 ? I can't get this thing to lower/ that shock absorber to compress for my life. lol
There's a latch you need to press
How much easy is to move the threadmill?, I dont have so much space, so I would like to know if easy to move
Once you have it put together it's easy to wheel it around
Where does the cord go to
You could just just switch to light beer🤔
I switch to a light beer every once and a while
did you move it to the basement yourself? how did you do that
My wife helped me, be careful its very very heavy
What model is it?
Just continue wat u like

Treadmill is great, only hit my head one time so far
Ok so I have the same one for the buttons work like 5k and the others?
Yep, all the buttons work
Thank God my cost included delivery & set up because I couldn't do this
Does it come with the Allen Wrench? If not... which one did you use? I am getting a 7.4... and want to make sure I have it.
Yes it comes with one
