I think you pretty well covered it.
Tuner, strings, picks, cables, batteries, tools, essential gear...
The kettle is a great idea- I'm not a coffee drinker, but I am fond of tea
Nice. That'll get your tea done for you too.
Oh man, so many great ideas here. The coffee kit will very likely be my first purchase, though. :D
Also, the link for the travel kettle goes to the D'Addario cable.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll fix that!
Yes to the coffee kit! Love to see what you wind up with when you get it sorted.
Cheers
Another great video! Keep em comin' dude.
Appreciate it... lots more coming!
LOL, that coffee kit was a total surprise. I did not see that coming. LOL :)
Batt-o-meter battery tester and crazy glue (could be for a finger or ripped tolex)
Great idea, especially the glue! I usually keep this skin glue in my bag too called Nu-Skin in case of cracking skin in the winter.
The minimalist musician with 3 capos, a hx stomp inside a helix bag and a kettle.
When you do it for a living you need backups.
very good video. All other just show off their shinny gear. You show us what's usefull and wise to bring
I've been wanting one of those Mono M80s for a while now. It may have put me over the edge had you pulled two guitars AND the coffee kit from the M80!
Oh it can fit!!! Lol
Nice video. I carry a very similar selection of stuff in my guitar bag (not that I've gigged properly since June '20) plus a few extra bits like spare straplocks... very different pedalboard bag contents though! Maybe I should make a video :)
Yeah I'm just getting back to it myself. Just seeing things open up finally here in Canada. You should! Would love to see!
@@minimalistmusician Thanks. I'll get to it. That's my June 30th video planned (unless I reshuffle)!
Romania officially lowered its state of emergency yesterday, so hopefully music will start happening again soon. We only moved here from Hong Kong in August though, so I'll have to find a gig first!
Just 1 more for me, a portable guitar stand! Personal favorite is an Ibanez Pocket Titan, super light and thin
I don't see that portable espresso thingy in your products in this video list. 😮
Great point! That's the most important piece of gear!
@@minimalistmusician Ummmm ....so can you provide a link to it please?

My gig bag: Bass, and sometimes a strap if I'm lucky.
Sometimes not even a bass if you're unlucky.
I subscribed you. I want to be a minimalist musician too.
If you really want to be that guy who gets extra called back, throw a drum tuning key into one of the pockets of one of the bags. Likewise, one of those little 6" patch cables. Neither takes up much space, but they can save someone some headaches, even if it's someone else.
Great call! I do have the little patch cables in there and just missed them going through the bag but the drum key is an awesome idea
Well so, you also have a tele huhh💜
That's been my number one guitar for about 15 years. As much as I love the other guitars I own the tele is the one that feels like an extension of my arm
True, tele is a rare and common guitar at the same time🤣
