He is a singer that can really bring it out of you..You feel every word he sings. This man has more talent than anyone I have heard in many many years...I'm just blown away by his angelic voice!!
Loved that silent exchange around 4:30. Two grown men wordlessly recognizing & acknowledging a beautiful moment of shared emotion. That alone was enough to Subscribe.
Timeless is a perfect word to describe him. In 30 or 40 years you could still play one of his songs and just be floored by his voice. Generational voice he has.
It is my understanding that Chris suffers from sever stage fright. His wife is the one who finally got him to bring his voice out in the open, thank goodness she did. She is almost always on stage with him when he performs, she is his touchstone it seems..
Hey B and S and other fans, Stapleton has been in bands in the past with some followers. The Steeldrivers, The Jompson Brothers and a Travis Tritt tribute band. The tribute band was before he moved to Nashville. Both bands are good, but I personally like Jompson Brothers best because I am more of a Southern Rock person the bluegrass though The Steeldrivers are good. Love the channel.....😁🤗
Chris Stapleton does this thing that VERY FEW and I mean VERY FEW artists can do, and that's bring people to tears with his voice. He gives me the most extreme goose bumps all over my body. You can not help but smile when he hits those long notes and run ons. Incredible. Just absolutely incredible. And to think his wife had to talk him into singing. Without her we might not ever have been blessed by this man's voice.
I live in his hometown of Paintsville Ky. My wife went to high school with Chris. Chris graduated the year after my wife. And YES, from anything I've ever heard from anybody who grew up with him, or knew him locally (I've never met him) he is the genuine article and a truly great guy and human being.
I have been going to concerts and into music big time since late 70's. Seen so many couldn't begin to tell you but have seen every country "legend" for sure. I can truly say after seeing chris I could not believe someone was that talented and that good so I went again and he was better than 1st time just my opinion and yes I am 60 years old but nobody even close to singing like this man. Its unbelievable to listen to him in concert. The purity and the pitch changes in his voice through the speakers with no music playing was something every music person should experience. Unbelievable
Chris is amazing 💯I have never met one person who can say they don’t like this dude! He touches me every time. I cry every time I hear this somy😭he writes the best songs ever!!❤️
SEE HIM IN CONCERT!!! HOWWWWW an artist can put even more stank on a song is mind blowing, hes even BETTER live, blows my mind everytime🤯🤯🎙🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👠👠👠👠👠👠👠👠👠
Chris is one of the most prolific song writers in Nashville. For years he wrote songs for others to sing and record. Thankfully, he was convinced to start performing his own songs.
Ya...what they said, awesome song......if you think you're moved now...just wait until you watch the official video....you'll be ballin' like a baby...
Hi guys. His voice is amazing, but what to say of his wife's voice, nobody ever mentions her also beautiful voice, and the way their voices blend together is just awesome.
He actually started out as a writer for other artists. He suffers from terriable stage fright and his wife is his rock and helps him be on stage. This song is about people suffering from depression. You really need to see the official video it is very powerful
Yes Stop dragging my heart around Petty and Nicks hits me the same way as this , the female harmony’s bring so much to those songs , when Morgan sings ‘ take your best shot show me what you got’ wow chills
That's the same reaction I have every time I hear his voice....one guy said that his voice reminds him of a combination of gunpowder and honey...you're exactly right that he and his voice are "timeless".
I believe this is the only song Chris Stapleton made a music video for and for good reason. Please react to the official video. This reaction was amazing but having the context of the video is a whole new experience.
5 or 6 years ago I saw a video on UA-cam of him singing "Whiskey and You" at the ASCAP convention and I could not believe he was not making his own records. From that moment on I was all in on Chris Stapleton. A generational talent.
You can not hide your feelings because you turned red as a beet and it brought tears to my eyes hearing Chris and watching you GUYS. I've been listening to him for sometime now. Listen to Tennessee Whiskey, ooh boy
Oh man, heavy song!! Especially with the video!! It is a must watch and puts the song into a whole other light!!! But great as always gentlemen!!! 🤘❤️🤘
These two.... I really hope they stay together forever. You can just tell they've had a lot of ups and downs, and have seen the best and worst each has to offer and STILL love each other.
I love your reactions. I feel that way everytime I hear Chris and Morgane. They are absolutely amazing. They did a Tiny Desk Concert. I really wish you would check that out. It's just Chris and Morgane and a guitar. They sing several songs and they are so wonderful and powerful. Please check that out and react to it. And you really need to watch the video to Fire Away. It really says what this song is truly about..Love you guys! Keep up the fantastic reactions!
PLEASE do his cover of Amanda! & you have to see the video to this song! Also the beautiful voice singing harmonies with him is his wife, Morgan. I'm loving how much you guys love him!
Please react to his wife singing “you are sunshine” with Morane Stapleton singing with him singing backup! You won’t believe her voice. It’s like an angel. She has the best female voice in country music.
You need to do a reaction to Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane’s performance of “Amanda” Live at the Grand Ole Opry. It’s amazing!! (Make sure you watch the Grand Ole Opry version. It’s the best one)
Morgan's has a beautiful voice herself and I support her along with Chris or on her on . Fact remains both of you are great and have touched me in proceeding with some remakes of some amazing songs that already exist so thanks.
Seen him recently, his voice is perfect live... He did sing this song... many commentors are correct, you need to watch the official video to understand what this song is about. Depressing yet eye opening. We NEED to take care of those with mental depression. It IS an illness and they/we need help. I pray those that need help get it before it is too late.
I love CS! I was able to attend his concert in FL. He is better in person if you can believe it! I had great respect when a fight broke out on the floor in front of the stage and he stopped singing l and had security remove the offenders out of respect to everyone else (his words). Then started over! He is amazing!
chris stapleton has the kind of voice that will make you cry even if you don't intend to. its amazing. ps. thank you for not pausing every 30 seconds to talk. subbed!
I think Whiskey and You is the most moving song ever. I love the version on the Tiny Desk venue. It's just him, his guitar in a tiny room. Makes me cry every time. Have a listen.
Adelle covered one of his songs from when he was with the Steel Drivers. Her tour bus driver was listening to hos music and then she wanted to cover it
Steeler Nation Baby!! Love the hat Stan and yes if this made you cry the official video will have you sobbing. It gets me everytime! I'm dealing with depression and panic attacks and it hits so close to home for me.
Every song he sings is soo powerful. He just blows me away. Have you two heard Teddy Swims yet? He's another tear jerker, very powerful singer. He's gonna make it big, mark my word.
Yeah, you need to watch the official video if you really want to feel the impact of this one. THAT will really bring you to tears if your not ready for it.
Another great review. I'm a veteran asking the veteran their to review... Madison Rising - Star Spangled Banner. All members are combat veterans either from Iraq or Afghanistan. Thank you gentlemen.
Y’all seriously need to react to Chris Stapleton singing his song “Either Way”. It’s amazing!! Also, I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it in the comments yet, but this song “Fire Away”, is about loving someone with depression or mental illness. At least that’s what the video leads you to believe. Great reaction guys!
Loving you guys. Got a veteran song from Australia. It's called "I Was Only 19" by Redgum. It was about Vietnam vets. The other is The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. The version I like most is by John Williamson. It's about the ANZAC troops in WW1. I really think you'll enjoy either.
I've been obsessed with him for years. It was seriously pissing me off when he wasn't getting his due back before he took off after the J.T. CMA Awards performance. When his first solo single was released (what are you listening to), I was calling every radio station in my area requesting it and none of them even knew who he was. Was really disheartening that country radio was so out of touch. So glad people finally know the legend that is Chris Stapleton.
The official video is actually the best way to get a full grip of the storyline of the song
Fully agree.. I've must of seen it hundreds of times
Absolutely! There'd be no way for them to fight off those tears then.
@@kaycee4357 Agree 100% they need to watch the video
darcyann66 absolutely! It’s gut wrenching to watch & if you don’t at least have a lump in your throat at the end, something’s wrong.
I thought the same thing!
Timeless is a perfect word to describe him. In 30 or 40 years you could still play one of his songs and just be floored by his voice. Generational voice he has.
Never had a singer's lyrics and vocals grab me by the throat time-after-time like Mr Stapleton. What a polarizing gift! I get it.
It is my understanding that Chris suffers from sever stage fright. His wife is the one who finally got him to bring his voice out in the open, thank goodness she did. She is almost always on stage with him when he performs, she is his touchstone it seems..
Behind every good guy is a great woman. I know that personally.
I've seen that on a lot of videos. I saw him here in Houston at the Rodeo a couple years back and she was there pregger with their twins haha.
@Jason Smith incel
That's true that's why she's on stage with him all the time
Most artists “entertain” us. Once in awhile though…an artist “moves” us and makes us FEEL the music. Chris Stapleton is one of those rare artists.
Another great thing about Chris Stapleton is that his background vocals on stage and on his albums are mostly done by his wife.
I live in his hometown of Paintsville Ky. My wife went to high school with Chris. Chris graduated the year after my wife. And YES, from anything I've ever heard from anybody who grew up with him, or knew him locally (I've never met him) he is the genuine article and a truly great guy and human being.

His wife Morgane sounds beautiful with him! Stunning voices! This one always makes me cry....💞
To get full effect of song must watch video. Love your channel.

Chris is one of the most prolific song writers in Nashville. For years he wrote songs for others to sing and record. Thankfully, he was convinced to start performing his own songs.

If you go to Nashville, every bar, day and night, has artists that are so incredible!! Go from bar to bar finding the best talent. It's music heaven!
His voice is haunting! His lyrics are all emotion and feeling. His voice is out of this world somewhere! 💜
Timeless...hit the nail on the head. Such a rich soulful sound comes out of their mouths...pure soul
Chris Stapleton singing a tribute to Aretha. Awesome! , would live to see your reaction to that.
Chris used to sing for a group The Steeldrivers. His voice rings clear and pure.
I felt like my heart was squished out of my chest! We’ve all been there and Chris Stapleton and his wife made this so real!
That's the same reaction I have every time I hear his voice....one guy said that his voice reminds him of a combination of gunpowder and honey...you're exactly right that he and his voice are "timeless".
One of my absolute favorite songs!
I believe this is the only song Chris Stapleton made a music video for and for good reason. Please react to the official video. This reaction was amazing but having the context of the video is a whole new experience.
This is awesome !!! Chris has one of the most soulful and passionate voices. It brings me to tear up.

Morgan's has a beautiful voice herself and I support her along with Chris or on her on . Fact remains both of you are great and have touched me in proceeding with some remakes of some amazing songs that already exist so thanks.

It never gets old watching folks react to Chris ...he has been singing like this for over a decade.
So I will always request the live from Chris but guys this music video. It's something else
Now go see him in concert! His shows are full of incredible energy.
"I was wrong" & "sometimes I cry"(bing lounge version) also he was a band called the steeldrivers.
I love CS! I was able to attend his concert in FL. He is better in person if you can believe it! I had great respect when a fight broke out on the floor in front of the stage and he stopped singing l and had security remove the offenders out of respect to everyone else (his words). chris stapleton has the kind of voice that will make you cry even if you don't intend to. its amazing. ps. thank you for not pausing every 30 seconds to talk. subbed!

He’s an award-winning songwriter - Grammy, CMA. Etc. songs recorded by many big names
Adelle covered one of his songs from when he was with the Steel Drivers. Her tour bus driver was listening to hos music and then she wanted to cover it
What song did she cover?
This is the most heart wrenching song ever but watch the video version is even more heart wretching
Also, check out The Jompson Brothers and The Steeldrivers. One is rock and the other is Bluegrass music. Love all of it.
His wife does great backing vocals. Sometimes it looks like they forget theirs and audience and are just singing to and for each other.
Yes, do the Video!!!
Love Chris he helps me to get through all dayz
Thanks guys
The video (only music video he's ever made) takes this to yet another level. Theres also a backstory video about this song. You should check it out.

Please react to Stapleton performing
‘Either Way” live on the Charlie Rose show. Love your channel !!
Either way is hands down the saddest song of a love that tried and died, ughhh.😭😭😭😭
He was a part of The Steeldrivers. They are a bluegrass band so not very mainstream, however many of the songs are amazing.
The Steeldrivers have some amazing songs too that are just as good if not better than Chris’ solo stuff.
Where rainbows never die is one of my all time favorites! 💕
Yeah, you need to watch the official video if you really want to feel the impact of this one. THAT will really bring you to tears if your not ready for it.
He has on sometimes I cry I think that's the title and it will make you cry to.
You gotta react to the official video... you will see a completely different meaning to the song.
New to your channel. I love how Stan is just transfixed for almost the whole song. That's how I was, the first time I heard this song.
Another great review. I'm a veteran asking the veteran their to review... Madison Rising - Star Spangled Banner. All members are combat veterans either from Iraq or Afghanistan. Thank you gentlemen.
Yes yes yes I think they both would like it.
You definitely need to react to the video version of this song! It’s a whole different experience.
Chris Stapleton is Amazing.
I hadn’t heard this song. So, thanks to y’all, I went and purchased the album!
Guys. Y'all have to listen to is wife morgane stapleton. Her version of you are my Sunshine is AMAZING.
Love your channel, reactions and information// Bring on 'Last Ride of the Day' signed one of the NW army...
I like this version the best it allows you to interpret the lyrics based on your experiences. I think most couples can relate in some way.
Y’all seriously need to react to Chris Stapleton singing his song “Either Way”. It’s amazing!! Also, I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it in the comments yet, but this song “Fire Away”, is about loving someone with depression or mental illness. You must watch the official video for this song its deep deep.
I've been obsessed with him for years.

So glad people finally know the legend that is Chris Stapleton.
