I first saw the Beatles in the Cavern Club in Liverpool in 1962, this is where they first performed before becoming a world wide phenomenon. Great memories and a wonderful time for music!
Well lucky old you! I was about 10 when The Beatles played the Cavern(4 miles from my home) so I was born about 5 years too late. Bah! Still recognised their awesomeness even at that age. Brilliant.
They are from Liverpool, England and were at the forefront of pop culture, song writing and studio recording innovations for the decade of 1960 to 1970. Their cultural impact can never be exaggerated, their songs have been covered and reinterpreted by a countless range of artists, so you will undoubtably know more of their songs I'm sure. They went through so many changes of fashion, and took in most musical genres in a wide eclectic mix of songs on each album. They started out with pop love songs, and became a global phenomenon very quickly, releasing hit singles and albums one after the other at an astounding rate, dominating the world charts. They progressed with every album, on into experimental rock and psychodelia in the mid- 60's. Even their drummer, Ringo Starr, would contribute songs, but John Lennon and Paul McCartney were the band's main song writers, and 'Here comes the sun' was a massive hit for their other bandmate, George Harrison, off of The Beatles final proper studio album 'Abbey Road'. Check out 'Come together' for a groovy track, or 'Let it be' for a more spiritual song, or 'Blackbird' for a simple beautiful acoustic ballad.
Man their catalog is so deep. My auntie gifted me I think 6 Beatles records. The lads from Liverpool are/were supremely talented.Good Auntie, thank you!
Watching Kamy vibe out to this song was one of the highlights of my day! As others have said, the Beatles were from Liverpool, England, and were at the forefront of the "British Invasion" of the 1960s. This song was on the last album they recorded (Abbey Road, 1969). The "Let it Be" album was recorded earlier than Abbey Road, but was released later, in 1970, and was the last album released when they were still together. "Here Comes the Sun" was right after the song "I Want You (She's So Heavy)," which is a real vibe, and sonically very dark. This song, with its happy sound and cheerful lyrics, sounded even more bright and cheerful coming after "I Want You (She's So Heavy)."
Start with some early Beatles, the world's biggest, most influential band in history from England: SHE LOVES YOU, THIS BOY, TWIST AND SHOUT, HELP, A HARD DAY'S NIGHT....100's of amazing songs
_The Beatles_ were from California in the same way that _The Beach boys_ were from Yorkshire. Seriously though, all 4 members of the Beatles were Born in Liverpool, England and of course had an immense influence on the course of modern popular music (Rock, Pop etc...). They actually incorporated many of the worlds musical elements and styles in their short but unbelievably creative 7 year existence (Rock, Blues, Country, Folk, Psychedelic, Baroque, Indian and the list goes on and on). The greatest.
The more you hear them and learn about them ,watch their videos, the more you will love them . They have fans all the way down from the fourth generation from them selves.

Their song "Yesterday", which if you don't know it, shame on you, has been covered more than 2000 times. More than any other. Ever. The most influential group of the 20th century, hands down.
It's kinda unusual when ya think of it, but Lennon/McCartney wrote and sang the vast number of their awesome songs, but George, with his limited tunes, has some of THE BEST Beatles songs that are cherished by music fans to this day! 🤘🤟

Beautiful absolute perfection of George Harrison. This song is so beautiful and with so much love it brings tears to my eyes. The Beatles are from Liverpool, England.
This song always gives me a good feeling vibe. Another song that makes me feel similarly is E.L.O.'s song, "Mr Blue Sky". If you're not familiar with it, you should react to it. It will make you smile too.

Where the hell did Cali. come from? lol ! Liverpool, England and by far the greatest band and most influential one in history and not just musically but also culturally. They completely changed the musical landscape in the sixties. They were so far ahead of their time and every other artist that I feel that they're still ahead of their time. The impact that they had on the world both musical and cultural still cannot be fully measured to this day. The sixties gave us both The Beatles and Bob Dylan which is mind boggling. Trust me, that ain't happening again. Even with the incredible 200 song catalog of John Lennon and Paul McCartney Beatles songs. (Lennon/McCartney), this one written by George Harrison is the most streamed Beatles song on Spotify with over 700 million plays as of 2021, I don't know what it's up to now. It's just a great, chill vibe positive song and all though nearly impossible for me to say, just may be my favorite Beatles song. This song is from their last studio album, "Abbey Road" released in September, 1969 and the album is a masterpiece of their final effort. You've probably seen the album cover where the four of them are walking across the crosswalk on "Abbey Road". The image is still out there everywhere today and is one of those iconic images in pop culture history. The Beatles & Bob Dylan, The GOAT'S of popular music. All others who try too stake that claim are merely pretenders to The Throne. Period, end of story. I'll see from time to time it's Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin or The Rolling Stones. All great bands but not these guys. I'll close with this. One hundred and two hundred years from now, these bands will be an after thought but The Beatles and Dylan will still be listened to and studied just as Beethoven, Bach and Mozart are still played and studied and appreciated for their genuis some 200 plus years later. My advice for you two would be, dig deep into these two and appreciate them because it ain't happening again. Peace
Many colleges and universities have had CLASSES ON THE BEATLES for some time now. I graduated from Kent State in June of 1969, but they didn't have classes on the Beatles because they were still current,, and being a fan, I knew a lot already on my own. But I always thought it would be interesting to take one of those classes to SEE WHAT they are teaching the students about the Beatles. My Dad always said that i could teach a class on the Beatles!
Well, some people do claim that the Beatles' Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album sparked off the whole hippy/ love & peace/ counter-culture movement in California in the US and around the world, so there is a sort of connection...! As far as the music itself goes, Brian May (lead guitar/songwriter/vocalist) of Queen summed it up best when he said 'The Beatles opened the doors we all just walked through'. He was referring to the foundational inspiration the Beatles had on their own band and all the bands that started up, inspired by the Beatles, in the 60s and 70s and for generations to come.
This is my favorite Beatles song and one of my all time favorite songs that I could not live with out I have song it everywhere Mt Fuji at sun rice, walking in the middle of a sandstorm in Iraq, it is also the perfect song when you are rolling out of control to bring you back to Earth, and its so cleverly simple in every part of it.
I graduated high school in 1970. In my senior year we went on the "Walk For Mankind", a 40 mile walk around the Twin Cities and we got sponsors to pay us by the mile we walked. We started in a football stadium and it was raining. Just before the start of the walk, the sun came out and everyone started singing "Here Comes The Sun". It was AWESOME!!!!! One of the most poignant moments in my life. And, yes, I did the entire 40 mile walk.

Yes you are absolutely correct three of the Beatles were from California John, Paul and George however when they had to replace Pete the original drummer they shipped in Ringo from Bulgaria
CALIFORNIA??? You just proved how true the old saying "Fame is Fleeting" really is. When the Beatles were at their peak they were THE most famous group in the world! And they were famous for being the first "BRITISH" band to take over the American music charts. I can't believe you didn't know they were British. Like I said, that proves that fame is indeed fleeting. You can't imagine how famous they were, and now you think they were from California. Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing you, I just think your reaction proves that no matter how famous someone might be today, 40 or 50 years from now the young generation of that future time probably won't know much about the "famous" people of today either. It's just weird how even extreme fame goes away. And believe me, the Beatles had EXTREME fame. Glad to hear you like the Beatles though since I grew up with them and their music. Nice reaction!
California? Guys please, it's the Beatles. They are 4 lads from Liverpool, England who by circumstances known only to God came together and changed music.
Even if you never heard any of their songs (which is highly unlikely), you’d still would know The Beatles are famously from England. I’m really shocked that you thought they’re American, but I guess it’s been a long time since they were popular…
I can not believe how many people bag on Ringo as a drummer, he is so dead on and just drives this song.
The Beatles helped to bring the world out of darkness. Spread the word again people, here comes the sun

It's kind of interesting and also makes me feel old to see young people listening to those familiar songs as if they were new.
Tread lightly, people. With the Beatles you're stepping on holy ground.
Such a great song. George wrote it in Eric Clapton's back yard sitting in his garden.
Liverpool, England, kiddos! Watch some vids of them talking- Liddypool Scouse is the best dialect!
This is when the Beatles were at their Apex!!
More Beatles pls
King and cami reacting to the Beatles best song!
The Beatles are from the UK. Nice video
ENGLAND to be precise.
In the same way THe Scots say they are from Scotland, The Welsh from Wales, and The Irish from Ireland and they are, rightly, all proud to do so. lol
@@Isleofskye Okay @Isleofprecise
@@januarysidra6166 lol
It's just a pet irritation of mine as a proud Englishman. ALL the other Home Countries are proud and eager to emphasize their Nationality, which I think is great but when it comes to us, we, suddenly, say we are "British" or from The UK ,as if we are not, equally, proud of our heritage and ancestors...:)
@@Isleofskye Of course you are. It would be silly not to. Tell me why it's kind of shameful(?) or people act like it might be a little bit bad to be proud to be British. Please.
George was the best. R.I.P.
Check out the photo of George Harrison in San Francisco in 1967? 68? He is dressed with denim and flower prints. Pretty fun for a Liverpool, UK boy. This song has California vibes ....sun, sun, sun...for sure.❤
The Beatles were aliens from another planet. Its mind blowing what they accomplished in only 7 years
You have to feel optimistic that's the point of the song oh, it's a new day you're free to shape your future
The Beatles were the first international band! They even played behind the Iron Curtain back when there was a Soviet Union! Multicultural!
Yes you are absolutely correct three of the Beatles were from California John, Paul and George however when they had to replace Pete the original drummer they shipped in Ringo from Bulgaria
Such mischief. Love it.

Seriously Do more Beatles song please all song are's good
The Beatles are from Liverpool, England.
❤Great reaction. Try going back to the 60s. Tommy James and the Shondells. More of the Beatles like get back and even she loves you
George Harrisons songs got this wonderfull hippie vibe. In my eyes some of the best Beatles songs were written by him.
A humdinger, hopeful song.
The Beatles were from Liverpool in England.
George Harrison in Drums 👏👏
The Beatles are from Liverpool, England...

California? Guys please, it's the Beatles. They are 4 lads from Liverpool, England who by circumstances known only to God came together and changed music.
There Were The Beatles Then Everyone Else. Just Ask Any Of The Bands That Came Out Of The 60's 70's And Beyond.
EXACTLY.
Best Group of all time then you bet WITHOUT The Beatles,as it is just a case of who is 2nd...lol

They seriously don't know that the Beatles are british ???? We are doomed as a species !
Even if you never heard any of their songs (which is highly unlikely), you’d still would know The Beatles are famously from England. I’m really shocked that you thought they’re American, but I guess it’s been a long time since they were popular…
No, not from Cali but from Liverpool. England.
The Beatles with Billy Preston/Get Back
