How I put my posters up without damaging them - new poster wall setup ~

- I always have friends asking me how I keep my posters intact whenever they enter my room and see them, so I thought about sharing this with you so it may be of some help !
since I have new posters I decided to put them up and show it to you ~

I got my first albums like 6 months ago and when I went to hang up the posters, it stayed. But when I wanted to change it I tried removing the tape and it completely ripped the edge of my poster and took some of the color with it. Then I tried adjusting another one of my posters but I also ripped it, and I was looking FORVER how to keep bts IN TACT LOOKING PRETTY ON MY WALL, but never found a way until this video so thank you SO SO MUCH!!!!

@@janviwarang4037 I actually change posters a bit often and the wall remains fine. It depends if the double sided tape you used is too strong for the wall type. Maybe try using making tape folded or washi tape instead of double sided tape.
@@CherryPam I think problem is in my wall type...😭bcoz I am using the same one you suggested in the video...but It's not working...I will give a try to washi tapes fr😄
Double-sided painters tape also works well, and it’s meant to protect walls, so as long as you don’t leave it on too long it should come off without damaging the paint :3

@@doclinny it might? If it’s just in the corner though it’s no biggie. You could also just use regular painters tape and fold it sticky-side-out, the kind meant for watercolour painting :]

I've been wanting to decorate my room with posters for a long time, but every time the posters kept falling down so I just stopped trying :')

the washi tape tip is really smart! I've been using sticky notes and then sticking them to the wall with tape but my posters usually fall and the sticky notes stay stuck to my wall :( so I'll definitely try the washi tape ^^
i hadn't thought of using clear tape! I've been having trouble with some of my older posters with the painters/artist tapes i've used sorta bleeding to the front on the corners on lighter posters (this is, to be clear, something that happened only on thinner paper posters after the tape had been on there for ~5-8 years so it's a slow issue) and was looking for ways to prevent this in the future while still having something on the corners to prevent damage from removing the tape later. seems like clear tape's a good thing to try next

pro tip, use fun tak, it’s blue and it’s great for putting up posters and decor and super easy to remove without damanging again

In 3:29, you manage to remove without damaging the paint. You did it slowly or you remove the poster then remove the tape on the wall.

I remove it slowly and usually poster comes off first and tape remains on wall then I remove it. Sometimes some of the tape comes off together with the poster and sometimes only the poster comes off and tape remains on wall to be removed.

Is mounting tape any different to double-sided tape?
It has some foam inserts and it may be better suited for holding things up. However I think you could give it a try!

If your wall paint is fragile you can try using a less harsh double sided tape or folded making tape that glues on well ~

You can use the same technique or just use any tape that sticks well to it since it’s already protected with the laminate ~

Are their anything like we have to avoid? Like air conditioning or heat that can cause damage to the posters?
Not that I know of ^^ extreme heat and humidity may cause issues with the tape’s effectivity but the poster should be okay.

:'D y'all don't be like me and use the scotch double-sided mounting tape. two years after i did this, that shit does noooot come off with your bare hands. just damaged one bit of my wall, so i had to run to the store for those putty knives. still some of the residue, but be careful about the tape for sure.
where do you get your posters? besides albums themselves is there anywhere else??
Hi ! all the posters I have come from albums themselves. But I’ve seen posters alone being sold at stores like MusicPlaza and Choice Music.
My posters aren't coming off as easily with the tape as when you took the posters off the wall, what do I do??

Well I haven’t had that happen to me except once I used old doubled sided tape by accident 😅 I used a paint spatula and carefully scraped it off. Maybe you can try that way ! Just be careful not to scratch the paint too. Hope this helps ✨

Double side tape will make the wall paint rip as well as the photos will fall

My poster keeps folding up then falling on floor
probably wouldve worked, but my posters are wayyyy to rolled up to do this.
