For the bottom of the basins I have just ground them flat and used a two and a half Inch diamond hole saw for the waste . The bath trap should be a deep one as it discharges into a soil pipe , shallow ones are for open gullies or hopper heads
Hi Tom , for those parallel threads , try some blue liquid ptfe , marvellous stuff , sets really hard , get it from screwfix , about £6 , leave it for 24 hrs to set before testing , great job as ever , Steve
Ive not quite built up enough confidence to try liquid ptfe yet, I know a lot of plumbers swear buy it so might have to give it a try, thanks for watching mate 👍
Thanks mate, it is nice to see the channel growing, I honestly try not to look to much at the analytics as I just enjoy making content, thanks for your support as always Andrew
Top job mate those free standing baths are a pain mcalpine do a trap that fit snug underneath the bath plus it's always daunting when your hoping your firstfix is upto scratch keep it going kida 😎👍😎👍😎👍
Thanks mate, the mcalpine products are normally my go to as they are fantastic, the Duravit one seem pretty good though so should be OK, thanks for the support mate 👍
Hi Tom, Is your mate fully qualified or are you training him. If so he's a lucky guy you're very talented at what you do he will benefit a wealth of knowledge from you. I enjoy watching your videos, keep up the great work 👍🏼
Hi Ben, my mate is currently finishing his 3rd year at college, hopefully should have his gas this time next year, as a business I always try and train all my own engineers, thanks for watching mate
To be fair the Crosswater ones are really good quality and seem really sturdy , some of the cheaper brands with the flexis that connect below the floor do seem a little flimsy, thanks for watching as always mate
Thanks mate, there not too bad to change, obviously the towel rail needs to be removed but with wet vacs it does make the job really easy, I appreciate the support as always
I didn't bed the basins down yet as the splash back needs tiling, I thought it would be easier for the tiler with the basins out but yes just a small amount of silicone will hold these in place, thanks for watching mate
Thanks mate, I defiantly don't touch anything illegal, I did actually do a job once years ago where I got called out late at night, some guy high on something had ripped a house apart, water everywhere. There was a film crew there filming for a police show called Rookie cops, you could just see my van in the background when it went on the TV, might try and find it and make a video about it someday
I did one of those funny man-made countertops a few years ago and scratched my head over the best thing to drill a big hole out with........ In the end I used my 4" diamond flue core on slow speed and it did a reasonable job, not that you see it as you said!. Did I miss part 2 of the slurry pump job, or is it not out yet?
I think the core cutter would have been a good shout, part two of the slurry pump should be out next week, just need to find some time to sit down and edit all the footage, I've got a rare weekend off for my brothers wedding but hopefully should be out on Tuesday, thanks for the support mate
That looks a nice set up 👍👍👍
Thanks for the support mate
Looking very swish.👍
another good job done Tom ;;

That free standing tap looks decent with the brass base. I've fitted some rubbish ones recently . Good work mate .
It seemed a really good one mate, like you say some of the cheaper ones do seem like they may cause issues in the future, thanks for watching

Good to see the Chanel growing Tom.
Did I miss something. What holds the basins down is it just silicone.

The “I’m not on drugs” comment absolutely killed me😂. You seem like the last person on earth that would. Keep up the good & interesting content mate.

top job mate
Thanks mate, I really appreciate the support 👍
hold on mate...may have missed summat...but surely not flexis on towel rail valves?
im a tit...see it now its a piece of flex
Defiantly no flexis on the towel rail, when I go back I will get a close up, it was piped in 15mm copper with angled chrome valves out the wall
I think it might be the flex for the electric element that looks like a flexi
No worries mate, you got to keep your eye on me though, I tend to get a bit rough when the cameras not on
😂😂
Thanks for watching mate 👍
Core bit may have gone through that?
Good shout that mate, I never ever thought about that at the time but would have most likely have done the job, thanks for watching as always mate
