Fridge work is class. I loved it. Tip for sleeping keep in on continuous and within a few days it’ll be humming you to sleep. I always park next to fridge boys when i’m out
You had me worried there! I did fridge work & loved it. Worked for the big supermarkets. Was easy enough work. With your background it won’t annoy you at all. Hurry up & wait!! Enjoy & keep up the great video & work
Good stuff! I hope so 🤞🏻 It’s a gamble changing but it’s something I’ve wanted to do (and try) so hopefully all goes well and it turns out to be a positive move 👍
These trucker vids are all identical. They bang on about how fantastic the industry is etc- but it's not going to end well. Sleeping out in a lorry - the guy looks exhausted- this is no way to live- shifts destroy you- mentally physically and the relationship- jumping from job to job to job...exhausting....get out while you still can...do some pen pushing job at the civil service...its only a matter of time until the next job comes to a crashing end....how is it a new challenge? moving a steering wheel down the same roads... making vids to break the monotony.... get the hell out and save yourself...
I agree after 19 years trucking every haulier offers you great promises and yet all the same return easy for 1st few weeks and then load on the work. It is a profession and if hauliers companys treated it like that too be great as I enjoyed the up keep of the truck and driveing but it's all deadline and push hard and safety goes out the window some time to get the job done which is wrong. But I still enjoyed it great experience with different roles and hoping to get part time work to keep me from going back full time
Same heart dropped thought you were completely leaving industry when saw heading 😂having myself just got in to it knowing how hard it is ,you have have inspired me from the beginning with the training from mainstream Goodluck and hopefully you will be able to keep doing your video's with new company's as we will miss you otherwise
I said to you some time ago get a job nearer to home that dartfrod crossing is a pain if you want to get home from the yard, fridge work is ok ,better find out about washing out, keeps some waterproofs you might have wash the trailer yourself.
@@billyhgvuk Yeah it’s strange as I’m Guessing nobody else has mentioned it.. Other videos from different people are fine, Just yours but the music you play is fine too that’s both left and right but I’ve noticed it on a couple of your videos now mate Good luck with your new job too! Look forward to seeing you tackle fridge work
I don’t blame you! Anything is more money than baker! I do a mix of container work and fridge work! If fridges doesn’t work out for you, let me know and I’m sure we can sort something out with containers!
Still be the same mate, long long hours poor pay bed work bed work, no family time unsocial hours up silly o'clock 13+ hours a day , advise any young people keep away from HGV DRIVING, get a apprenticeship , horrible industry to get in , keep away
After nearly 30 years tramping I have decided to semi-retire. Trunking 2 nights a week. Trucking is more than a job it is a way of life, especially tramping and European work. Family life doesn't exist. Leaving early hours Monday returning late Friday or running out of time running in Saturday morning. Home for only a day and a half. Strain on relationship, home life, family life, putting up with bad driving, R.D.C's attitude, traffic jams & hold-ups, telematics, driving rules/ hours, working time directive, tacho laws, V.O.S.A., potential fines, diesel theft & thieves, truck stops & service areas. There are good things too, not many only a few.
Tramping fridge work Billy?!?! I hope you're a deep sleeper and got thick skin. Aren't fridge trampers the most hated on the road. If you have ever slept next to a fridge trailer you will know what Im talking about ;] good luck mate.
Yeah 💯 that was my first thought. When you park your noisy fridge trailer next to other truckers you get all the dirty looks and people driving off to avoid you!😂
You have only had your licence for 2 years and your on your 4th job lets c how long you last on fridges .when you have a load on your back for the markets 8 deliveries starting at 10 in the night you get them up then you might get parked up till he finds you a load … try sleeping with that fridge running all day or night it’s getting near the warm weather now you blert .dont they teach you kids how to change a light bulb or strap a load down now . Why strap a load down and stitch the curtains up how do you check if the straps are loose un stitch the curtains again the chassis’s is were you should grab hold of with your ratchet ex army looks like you were a cook not in a infantry regiment i hope i was did 10 years your number is probably 312 your first 3 work mine out 246 yes early 83 so get a grip of your self and buy a fukun map am 65 now i was on my way to bagdad when you were in your dads bag ill know the fridge man in kent who i guna give you a try its a car you are driving not a wagon get a wag on with a gear stick not a automatic happy hunting bill you cosmic ray of light
I’ve been to different jobs. But I have more real life experience and training than a lot of others. I’ve done containers, fridges, freezers, curtainsiders, flatbed, low loaders, hiabs, tankers and walking floors. You tell me that it isn’t valuable for employers and work 👀
Good luck with fridge work ridiculous start times midnight onwards
Handed your notice is in is all you have done. I could see it coming by your tone for a few weeks. Although I expected you to move to days.
