  • The BULLS COPPERHEAD EVO AM 3 is an all-mountain style electric bike with longer travel 150mm air suspension from Fox with thicker stanchions and preload + rebound tuning, internal Powertube 625 battery looks great and offers 25% more range, perfect charge port and locking core position on upper right side of frame. Mid-sized 2.8" plus sized tires provide increased traction, reduced deflection, and improved comfort but are more nimble and responsive than full 3.0" plus sized tires, the wheels are stiff and responsive thanks to Boost hub spacing, sturdy 15mm and 12mm thru-axles, and premium DT Swiss wheels with reinforcement eyelets. Unique dropper seat post from Limotech (called Jovial) now incorporates a bit of suspension, quad piston hydraulic disc brakes from Magura are designed to cool fast and function well at high speeds with large 203mm ebike-specific rotors, impressive 12-speed SRAM drivetrain with 11-51 tooth cassette range. Responsive Bosch CX motor delivers an "all in one" eMTB drive mode designed to keep you focused on riding and shifting gears vs. adjusting power settings, the Bosch Purion display panel is more limited than Intuvia and doesn't have USB charging options, the bike is a bit heavier than some in this category but BULLS improved the battery cover design (making it lighter and cheaper + easier to replace).

Outstanding channel! Happy there is an American channel about E-bikes. No shade at E-MBN, but their English accent kills me! Side Note: The VP-536 Pedals that come on all of the Trek bikes are absolutely awesome. They offer excellent grip and are Nylon!!

I'm always wondering why your ride tests are so short. The ride tests should reflect their intended use at least, which this video doesn't do, and why not show how it pedals in eco mode and maybe with the power off? I like your reviews overall, just had to say what I see as missing.

A local bike shop has this bike used for $3500. Is it a good price?

The next gen Bosch is only 75 nM ? Good grief., Bosch. Brose S Mag is 90....Elevon is 120.
I love my ‘19 Bulls AM 4 but the battery now fails to fully charge. Any word on that, Court?

If you review a product you should take it off jumps or in the forests to see how it handles real stress.

Indeed, I was surprised to see the rust, wonder if it was the stock chain or aftermarket if it broke in another demo ride? Pretty rusty...

Good question, I've been meaning to coordinate with BULLS and ask about the last few models for North America, I'm planning to visit soon to finish up the reviews for 2020 :D

They might be preparing to update their website? I'm definitely excited about this model in particular. Have you tried Bosch vs. Brose and do you have a preference?
