This is How People Should made a Big Aviary Home for a Pet Bird,s for giving them a Big Space to Feel Freedom, Comfortable, Healthy, Happyness, and Beautiful to make all the Bird,s. 👌👌👍👍❤❤
i have 3 pairs of mine, god i can't explain how much i love watching them flying....for 10 months they didn't interact with me at all. they were busy exploring every corner of my house. now a days like a week ago they have started interacting and sitting on my shoulder, watching me work on my desktop.... cuddle at my shoulder... they even fight for shoulder which i never thought would happen but it is what it is now.....
Aww how sweet. They've got cool animals at this zoo, I'd love to go see them. I love the way they all flew out of the boxes, how cute. They have a big place for them to live in, how cool.
I love you all so much! Seeing this just made an awful day pleasant!! Thank you for not only what you do there at CMZoo but for sharing it with us!!! 🐦🦜💖
Very cute...So many budgies in one cage. I have been a budgiee (parakeet owner since 1997). Love them all. I have two new ones after my last one passed August 25th.
I can easily imagine the noise. I had an aviary 40 budgies back in the early 90s in Hobart, Tasmania. They loved the rain. They'd all come out into the open flight and climb over the wire chatting excitedly. In the morning, they'd wake with the sun and chatter away. The neighbours (fortunately) like it. The main problem was when they had nigh fright and would start flying around everywhere. I'd have to turn on the outside light and be down there with a torch to ensure they settled and none were injured.
One of my birds died recently. He rarely got to fly. I wish he could have had a wonder family and home like this 😢. It makes me feel like I hurt him keeping him in captivity for 6 years
Thanku for treating them the way they should be some treet them like they are non living object they can keep 100-150 budgies in just 1 box u had they are cruel
I honestly want an aviary that's really big so I can go in without hitting my head on the roof and I don't mind cleaning up after a flock of budgies or even African lovebirds.
Beautiful shots. One thing I suggest, however, is to not use music. I wanna hear the beautiful chirps of these guys! Or, you could have both with the music being somewhat quieter. :]
Thanks for the feedback! We do try to include the natural sounds of the animals when possible, however, we often can't get usable natural sound because of other voices or sounds in the area. There are parts of this video where you can hear the birds, like in the beginning of the video.
Thank you for your concern for our budgies! This video is not an accurate depiction of the space our budgies have available or the care they receive. It's just a snapshot of one part of their space during one brief (and interesting) moment in their lives. Our Budgie Buddies space has several rooms, as well as an outdoor aviary, and much of the perching is higher in the room than what this video shows. Keepers purposely chose a more open space for this release, to allow the budgies plenty of unobstructed room to fly when the transport boxes were opened. When the birds were released, they all flocked to one tree, even though there were many others available to them. Once they started acclimating to the new space, they did spread out more. They also do get lots of vegetables as part of their diet - keepers report that kale is their favorite! Thanks for caring about our budgies as much as we do!
Hi, Budgie Landing is too hot. They are trying to recreate the Australian grassland where they live, but every color bird except the green ones have been bred in captivity and are used to AC. The birds are visibly hot and panting, and the guests have sweat pouring down all over them like a Sauna. Why don’t they provide the birds a cool mist spray to take a bath in, like the lamas have? They would really love it, and so would the guests. The birds are too hot and not really hungry for the seed sticks, and the place is too hot to stay in longer than a few minutes.
Thank you for your concern! It sounds like you might be referring to a different zoo as we don't have llamas or "Budgie Landing." However, we do have a budgie aviary that is part of our Australia Walkabout exhibit where budgies have multiple spaces inside and an outdoor space available to them when the temperature is warm enough. We pay close attention to the climate in the aviary and keep the temperature around 70 degrees just like their native habitat, the wild scrublands, open woodlands, and grasslands of Australia. The aviary has air conditioning running in the spring and summer with multiple places for the budgies to drink water. There are also multiple bird baths in the aviary. Because the summer months often result in a large volume of guests, the budgies get many opportunities to eat seed sticks and will not always be motivated to eat from seed sticks.
Well, to be fair, the "trip" was just a short walk from another part of the Zoo. So the birds didn't really have to worry about being too thirsty during it.

The boxes were only used for a very brief transport from their quarantine space in another area of the Zoo, down to their permanent home. The boxes were outfitted with perching and plenty of ventilation holes to make their short journey as comfortable as possible.
Budgies are an important part of our Australia Walkabout exhibit, as they are found in the wild in scrublands, open woodlands, and grasslands of Australia. The species in our Budgie Buddies exhibit also include the Princess Parrot, who have green, red and white coloring, and cockatiel, who have yellow, gray, orange and white coloring.
This video shows the birds being transported to their new home, in the aviary. Their time in the crates was very short, and necessary to their safety as they moved to their new indoor/outdoor aviary.

01:53 hold up, who is that? He’s not a budgie!!!
It's a cockatiel! Like budgies, they are also native to Australia.
This was so cute it made me tear up ❤️ love you beautiful flock
Those are a lot of budgies! I have 16 budgies and 3 cockatiels!
Funny because a "bin" is normally where you put trash, but birbs is gold.
I would just LOVE this
Ahh how cute load,s of room to fly that,s how it should be I have 2 budgie,s They come and go as they please love there toy s
Aww dear little sausages. I love budgies. :-)
I saw a few Lutinos in the flock. I have one Lutino - they are totally yellow, no contrasting head or striped wings.
This is bizarrely similar to how I manage my reef tank. With less airholes and more salt water, obv.
Adorable!
Похоже на женское общежитие😂😂😂😂
Какие лапочки! Наш волнистик 14 лет был с нами, очень скучаем...
They're innocent beings in this vicious world
Burung cantik. 😍

Also budgie: my friend I see you have (seed)!
I see both males (blue beaks) and females..Will they breed? Love the budgies 💛
We love them, too! Our budgies' care team has a breeding plan for individuals suitable to breed together.

Nice..

Yes, we opened Budgie Buddies exhibit in 2007! We had about 50 budgies before this new group joined the flock.

Selevration for birds

@@CheyenneMtnZoo Oh my gosh you're right, I was referring to the Bronx Zoo! Sorry lol Glad to hear you are making your Budgies comfortable and happy
1:56 😂😂😂😂😂😂😅
0:35 so they have this drinker so they don't thrist in the whole trip... and they use it to wet theit tails?
Well, to be fair, the "trip" was just a short walk from another part of the Zoo. So the birds didn't really have to worry about being too thirsty during it.
@@CheyenneMtnZoo oh... still a good tip for trips

Why would you keep domesticated birds in a Zoo? Wild Budgies are smaller and green.
@@CheyenneMtnZoo There are no coloured Budgies in the wild in Australia. You are demonstrating domesticated Morphs.
Ourique o de 😄😤
There like mine
Yes Ana your sister is calling tayn 911
No sorry
Why keep this birds in cages. They are living beings like us. They must live in wild. They need freedom. Don't spoil there natural life.
This video shows the birds being transported to their new home, in the aviary. Their time in the crates was very short, and necessary to their safety as they moved to their new indoor/outdoor aviary.
I don't know why i think this is SAD! got a feeling not going to call it tho!
