This lady speaks sense and looks really strong and healthy
Hey dear how are you doing over there ?
@@ernestwelon781 Not too good if she hasn’t answered in 3 months.
"I ate the brownie because someone hurt my feelings". So true, some people say emotional eating is not real. They are extremely wrong.
Date Man I agree. Dr. Doug Lisle, with all due respect, co-wrote The Pleasure Trap, wherein he shows how foods trigger a dopamine response, which of course makes you feel good, but then claims there's no such thing as emotional eating. Seems like a contradiction. If we're feeling bad emotionally, a quick way to make us feel better is reaching for food that triggers dopamine and the other feel-good brain hormones.
Just don't eat junk anymore!
I’ve never heard someone say it’s not real, seems like most people are aware of indulging with food to make you feel better such as “comfort eating”
Thx very important . I follow this diet an i have been doing it for 3 months . Rice and fruit only and i feel fantastic .
Thank you for sharing this
You have a strong will bro. May I ask white rice or brown rice?
@@2bored4life white is easier on digestion.
How’s your sugar levels
I would be totally constipated eating rice 3 times a day!
Just ordered two of her books from Amazon - can't wait to dig into them!
Hello dear how are you doing over there ?
Our joy is to help people help themselves. Look around, sadly many, many people could use a program such as this.
What a beautiful lady is she still alive
It is said that the original rice diet, as created by Dr. Kempner, restored vision in some diabetic patients’ eyes. I wonder if her version of the rice diet can do the same?
Thank you. Very inspirational video.
we eat emotionally because emotions cause stress and to overcome the stress requires energy. So it is great to eat when your stressed your body is telling you it needs more energy and it would be better to choose healthier carbs so you get the energy you need to overcome the stress and you feel better. To be more resistant to stress is too eat plenty for all your energy requirements every day. Don't skip meals.
She definitely has got a nice clean healthy look in her face.
you can make yourself healthy whole foods plant based brownies 💞
gets the job done just like the conventional oil or butter filled ones from a standard bakery :)
in 1997 I ate only rice cooked veggies and ate meat only 1 time a week started out at 185lbs and 5 months later I weighed 135lbs lost 50 lbs but got pregnaunt and have not lost it since plus gained a lot more too so been searching different diets on the tube see which im gonna choose now don't think I could do the rice thing again lol
Hey dear how are you doing over there ?
Only one meal a day and you only lost 10 pounds a month? That’s not good.
No she said one meal with meat a week. Not one meal a day week. @@terencemckenna6468
im a bit confused, i was under the impression that you are allowed to eat sugar which was a part of Dr. kepner protocol?
My understanding (I am not a medical professional) is sugar was used only for people with very severe medical issues like kidney failure. They could not eat enough rice and fruit to get the needed calories so sugar was added to increase the calories without increasing the amount of food.
Why is only decaf coffee allowed on this program? What is wrong with caffeine?
Thank you
Don’t follow this diet advice. Don’t do the rice diet. Its probably the most dangerous diet you can do. It is the only diet that caused deaths by heart attacks or kidney failure. The reason for this is simple: The rice diet is a diet that is very low in solutes (electrolytes, especially sodium, and protein) and high in carbohydrates (more than 565g per day). If you understand how the human body works you know that the kidneys need a certain amount of solutes to excrete free water. If you eat basically no sodium and a very low amount of protein and consume lots of carbohydrates, which create water when they are burned and also drink extra water on top of that, you are basically killing yourself because you overload your heart and kidneys with Water, since it cannot be excreted effectively. There have been deaths at the rice diet program, but noone talks about them. There have been deaths at juice and water fasting retreats and noone talks about them. I want to talk about them because i nearly lost my life too, while following this dangerous diet without asking my doctor first. And i don’t want anyone lose their life because of this highly dangerous diet. 1. Never cut protein. 2. Never cut salt. You need a certain amount of protein to be healthy, the RDA of 0.8g per kg bodyweight is too low as it turns out we need nearly double the amount of the rda. The theoretical minimum requirement of sodium is 200mg but to be safe , 500mg should be eaten always per day.
@@rainbow8198 what happen to you? you did it for years?
@@jinshark9078 no i only did it for 4 months and it gave me heart failure. Remember, the rice diet is suicide because you don’t give your kidneys enough solutes to function effectively
Has there been any studies on diabetics in this diet ?
Fun Times yes, plenty. Just research. Start with Kempner.
Dr Kempner was a kidney specialist and diabetes, obesity and high blood pressure often go with kidney disease. His diet is good for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, weight loss.

@@rainbow8198 I have lived for months on fruit and vegetables with minimal amounts of meat. Millions of people live on rice and vegetables with little or no meat. I am a kidney patient and tried a keto diet and the rice diet and the keto did harm while I am doing well on the rice diet. I do not cut out all sodium but use it very sparingly, no salt but small amounts of Worcestershire sauce hot sauce horseradish and salad dressing which contain minimal sodium. My diet is basically fruit, vegetables and rice and this was approved by my kidney specialist and nutritionist. She did recommend small amounts of fish or chicken.
It is a mistake to think there is no protein in vegetables, there is. It is possible to live for long periods on vegetables and fruit, with no loss of strength or muscle tissue. This was proven 100 years ago = see the work of Dr, Hindehede in Denmark, and their experience with rationing in WW1.
@@mrdanforth3744 the original rice diet cuts out sodium completely which is dangerous because sodium is an essential mineral, you cannot survive without it, theoretically you could if you restrict your water to very low amounts but that is hard to maintain. The heart needs some salt for a strong contraction
How does the rice diet affect cancer? It has a fairly high protein/methionine content and cancer responds to a low methionine diet. Rice is loaded with methionine.
Jet Plane so is this meaning is not recommended ?
Nobody can hurt "your"feelings,..there all yours.
Is coffee allowed on the Rice Diet?
dlspeed1 yes coffee is allow decaf
Is brown rice acceptable, or does it have to be white rice?
white rice has less protein, and sodium.
This is used for terminal people with kidney issues is how it started.
white rice is easier to digest but do rinse it well.
@@EmpoweringCoach That does not answer my question. Also, be advised that white rice is more constipating. Personally, I choose to eat Black Rice here in Thailand.
@@Marcfj of course you can use brown rice or any type of rice that you like. Sorry I didn't say yes or no about the brown rice. I just wanted to mention white rice with okay also and it's easier to digest. It may be constipating but you get fruit on this program which has fiber. Enjoy your day.
Sounds like she's saying "rice dot" program. Kind of funny.
@redmotherfive
That’s the North Carolina accent! I was born and raised there and it sounds like home! 😂😊
Can a woman with PCOS be successful with The Rice Diet? We are told “NO CARBS”!
The NO CARBS push is a result of special interests groups and lobbying at work. Dr. John McDougall has all of the research on it on his website. It's free information.
Fish??? never gonna happen
Such a boring menu sorry, I think the only thing i would lose is the will to live
Hello dear how are you doing over there ?
Understand, that most on the program typically have kidney failure and other terminal issues. It can and has been used for diabetes and grossly obese. May be boring but it works.
That’s funny.
