    Nice reference to Golden Park in Columbus, Ga. It was my first home ballpark, and, yes, the outfield wall was brick with no padding!

    Shea Stadium had a almost fully wooden fence painted Blue until after the 1989 season when they finally padded it after several injuries over the years.
