    I know a man who functions as a toddler but knows exactly what day of the week every date is on. You give him a birthday months away and he will say its on a Wednesday and he's never wrong, but yet he can't eat with utensils.

      Tamara - Journal Addict I knew a guy like that. He would talk about music and bands etc. give him any date and he would tell you what happened on that day with different bands and stuff. I loved talking to him.

      Maximum Woahverdrive Sort of. Think of some of the brain functions you normal need to survive in this world (not survive but make money and all that shit on a societal level or whatever), so the other parts of his brain that would normally be a lot less developed would grow to much greater the capacity as they normally would as a result

    Give it less then 10 years before science realises how to make this link and give it another 10 years before they actually give these abilities to a human

    • @simonn5651
      @simonn5651 3 роки тому +3

      you don't give these abilities to people since all already have them - we just don't have access to them yet , like our senses...we can hear and see and all that but lets take sight away then your hearing ability increases to compensate for that loss.
      i think trying to force such abilities before we have time to evolve and process such information could cause brain damage because the brain needs time to process ALL senses and forcing it means taking something away.

    I was diagnosed with autism and savant syndrome in my 30's in 2016. I have an IQ score of 200. I don't forget things. I have difficulty walking and socializing but I still do my best. My mom was my advocate. I also have a large support system. Music is math. I can see colors and shades as well as taste sounds. My brain is a lot like a computer and calculator. I don't have verbal thoughts but I have learned to speak. I got help with speech therapy when I was eleven. Cognitive therapy also helps. I write a lot too. I can draw realistically and sculpt anything. I can't teach others though because I never learned I just am able to understand things deeply and learn quickly. Logic is my best skill. Also, emotional intelligence is the same as logical intelligence. You can't make logical decisions without emotional intelligence. I have a balance between the two with my IQ. I have neurological conditions too. It was hard for my teachers to teach me until my first grade teacher figured out how I already knew things I just needed to find interest in what they wanted me to do. They let me choose my schedule and I started to succeed.

    It pisses me off when the doctor says "he doesn't interact in a NORMAL way with people." Individuals with Autism are just wired differently...

      Why I have aspergers and like if you are offended for autistic people who like dont see their disability as a disability then you are the one who doesnt understand

    • @jacksteel1539
      @jacksteel1539 6 років тому +3

      Also no he doesnt interact in a normal way with people, I dont know why you think the doctor doesnt know he is more unique that is what they are trying to figure out, like it all has drawbacks and advantages

    • @brainimp

    • @Tqueenboss1
      @Tqueenboss1 4 роки тому +10

      As someone with Autism, I'm gonna say yes, our brains are wired differently, from the norm. We do not interact normally. Don't be offended, it's true. We know we are not normal and we are okay with that

    • @hoodmistressreloaded
      @hoodmistressreloaded 3 роки тому

      @@Tqueenboss1 I'm autistic too; join the party. Outside of certain family members and my longtime best friend, I mostly don't interact with folk by choice because some people's energies or vibes rub me the wrong way (I could be clairsentient too, but I need to do more research). Nothing wrong with not being normal as it's better to just be yourself 😊

      There are downsides. It's commonly found with autism, and autism has a lot of downsides like motor impairment and Sensory issues. These usually can end up hurting you, or even others because most of the time you don't know your own strength and you can apply too much force to everything. (It's scary to even push someone because I could injure them). Plus you don't deal with too much sounds and smells well and that can lead to injury too. These are terrible things and I wouldn't wish them on anyone.
