Rough Country has a 2 inch leveling strut that is perfect. So yes to a 2 inch level and 1 1/2 inch wheel spacers. What a difference it makes on trucks look and stance.
I've added the 2" struts. Why the wheel spacers? I may go to a 34" (35") tire later but is that why? Keeping in mind tire rotation and balance centers were not working with trucks with spacers last I heard.
My favorite tire is the Firestone M/T2 tire even though its a mud terrain it does really well in the snow here in Canada. I had it in a 35x12x22 and never once got stuck.
@TboneSRT well I had them on a 2012 ram with just a bilstein lvl and they were not that loud tbh and rode really well. One of the best in my opinion. They are not the cheapest tire but well worth the money. Also they nvr seemed to wear to fast either. I ran them all year and I live in Newfoundland Canada and we can get some crazy snow here lol and I've pushed snow with the front bumper with them lol. I'm planning on buying a new Ram this week and I will be purchasing them again.
Couple other things that are cool mods.... Red ( trx style push start button) $80 ish , upgrade carbon steering wheel $300 , spray in bed liner 400-700$. Oh yeah and some matching tow hooks in the front , $100 ( if getting chrome spend the extra for the good ones they have a nicer finish)
5 in tips do make it look sharp my truck is red with black accents same as truck being shown i went with 5 in black tips but the originals have a spot weld to hold them on i used a good wire hidden just incase the clamp loosened and it fell off and loose 200 dollars but the 5 in is a nice upgrade no change in exhaust sound
Billsteins are the best way to go better than stock and you can run at the highest level still keeping your upper ball join completely flat no geometry change
Thanks man! So i know Rough country makes a 2" level strut for the 2wd and 4wd trucks! Would be a solid cheap option. www.roughcountry.com/product/ram-leveling-struts-500061?|&||m||fit_first_501061-a&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAvP-6BhDyARIsAJ3uv7aHcMqariV_TwFTNV9D28c24IqSHe8DE7abLuLcQyGudulVf6tjw5EaArCsEALw_wcB
If you have air bags you would need to do a delete kit for your truck. Otherwise you should put the spacers on the top of the struts. These dodges are very fussy when it comes to air suspension.
you said you went max on 5100's which makes your front higher, how did you raise the rear up? Which brand spring did you put in rear to raise it? Thanks
35 will rub on full rotation especially when reversing even with Billstein leveling also buy your wheel with a neg 24 to give your truck a little stance the neg 44 is going to rub way to much without a lift
Got Carven Competitor muffler and highly disappointed as I thought it would be much louder. Ram changed their exhaust set up as it went to single in double out, on muffler now single both sides. Wonder if that cuts down on air the split is closer to resonators now. Have to take the resonators out. On my gen 4 2018 Ram Flow Master HD 50 sounded louder. I always change the stock intake filter that's it(just filter part) and added PCX paddle style commander to remove that throttle lag on gen 4. 2021 Rams 1500's stock don't have much lag at all especially when you half punch it yet alone full press. Anyway great video and looking for some input on exhaust...
@Patriotx-gx4ce I have noticed that! The 4th gens sound so much louder with an muffler than the 5th gens. I'm pretty sure you're right as to why but I will be going with the AWE 0FG on this truck in the near future. It's the best sounding exhaust for them imo. Check out the vids on it, I think you'll like it. It's louder than the borla, and cheaper. But supposedly on the 23s, they changed some programming with the throttle response.
@Always_Bored96 yes it is. If you go with a company like suspensionlifts.com, they will sell you bilstein 5100s already set to your desired height (you pick the height on the website) and they come fully assembled ready to put it. Very easy to do with hand tools
Heres the full install vid on it! Links for everything is in the description! The brackets come with the lightbar for mounting ua-cam.com/video/3HjGfUc54Zw/v-deo.htmlsi=Z3l0Nd5hVj81UXFm

@JacksonBlack-r5k you will have plenty of bed space for all the baby gear, that's for sure 😆 but if they're in car seats, they probably don't require the leg room that an adult would so I would say it should be fine
@@TboneSRT just seen a tradesmen with 5.7L and 3.92 rear axle. Curious if it’s worth it 113k miles. Has the 18in rim which I want to upgrade with a level kit and lift but don’t know what size lift would make it look nicer

Absolutely! Lots of options for a little bit of lift. Just what these trucks need

1 . After market intake 2 . Outlaw muffler 3 . If it has a clutch fan, replace it and the electric fan with a V6 electric fan.
