- Cool Johanna Facts: The testicle chair is somewhere halfway between a myth and a possible truth. There are records that attest to it being real while other records claim that it never existed. I found resources that claim that in museums there are either replica or preserved testicle chairs but these could very easily be fabricated. Take that information with a grain of salt.

Popess joemama is pretty underrated
It seems way more probable that her story is actually regarding a bishop or maybe even a cardinal
I took a look at her kit and she is an Arts Support servant with an anti evil multi target NP with an anti Human overcharge

There is actually a reason why Popes are all males.
Pope is seen as "representative of Apostle Peter on Earth" and "father" of the Church.
Pope was also a Patriarch of Rome, one of the 5 original Church patriarchs. The rest were in Constantinople, Antioch, Carthage, Alexandria and Jerusalem.
So it was not because "women have no soul" ( I admit there are people who thought like that BUT that was NOT the main reason ) but because as a father of the Chruch and representative of Apostle Peter on Earth Pope can only be a male.

I hope she's a interesting characters in Traum. Her legend (or history, if you believe it to be true) makes one beg the question of some catholic principles followed to this day.
Also, her design is pretty cute

She is entirely fictional and Fate. Her character arc is about the existential crisis she has being fictional.
(extra remark: I really like how her ascension show her as simple priest and as bishop in 1st and 2nd ascension.)

I'm Catholic and don't see a problem with her existing in FGO. I take issue with Martha's clothing, especially in CEs like Aerial Drive, and with Jeanne being in a bikini, but Joan's story is interesting and it doesn't hurt to just say "this myth exists." Plus, no non-Catholic would really care about her considering how many Protestants refer to every real life Pope as an anti-Christ.

@FirstLast-hd4oe It is, but so is her whole look. She shouldn't be showing cleavage or so much skin in general and that goes for all versions of her including the CEs. But I've long stopped expecting anything Japanese to treat any Abrahamic faith with respect.
