@@piafounetMarcoPesenti I think the reasoning for that is because it's an alternate universe or parallel dimension because if you play in the game and you find at least three of the characters from the third game you'll find teepo, Rei and momo, and if you go through some of Momo's dialogue she'll actually say something about having a weird feeling and she feels like she's in a parallel universe
Imagine dante vs bof ryu ( battle of the damn century and a very worthy fight for dante, both can take pretty big damage as humans too before transforming ). Also vergil vs teepo.
Still my favorite bof .. But I'll never forget my disappointment when I hit the Kaiser button for the first time and that golden dude showed up instead of just having the dragon appear for breath attacks.
I agree but to be fair, the kaiser dragon is the biggest dragon in the game. It also kinda thematically fits, as ryu himself is the kaiser, having reunited the power of the dragons and ascended as their emperor, so it's his power, not the power of some dead forgotten dragon. It's also him in his strongest form, able to freely wield his accession to become his true form whenever he desires. So all in all i'm not terribly disappointed with it.

But then they'd have to make him uber powerful and the other characters would become spectators. So I guess I get why they did it. But to me it was still a massive disappointment. And it's not like Teepo was under any such restriction XD.

Warrior is by far the best dragon form. He looks badass, and has this RAW POWER vibe, throwing punches all around. Dragon is a very close second, a classic Dragon, with a good balance of physical damage and breaths.
5:09 whoah whoah whoah wait a minute... how did you get a red tiger fusion? I thought I had seen every possible combination but not that one. Is that using fusion with another gene? I know you can force a certain fusion like that. I'm guessing it's like the golden versions
BoF3 is THE BEST dragon transformation game out of the entire series and Breaht of Fire 1 on SNES is the BEST RPG ever, made by squaresoft at the time too. quests and back & forth was so amazing in BoF1

I remember when I first discovered tiamat I was so gassed as a kid, shame bof4 was such a let down with this system very anti climatic although the team combos were cool asf I enjoyed mixing the genes to find new forms instead of having the “warrior” look for every transformation
Great video, flow was a bit odd though bouncing from showing the forms to then showing the attacks. I would have thought it would have made more logical sense to do each attack with each form then move to the next. Minor detail I know. The only other thing I spotted is that it looked like there was a missing attack. I want to say Kaiser has the Bonebreak move but it was not shown. Assumption is that you were unable to let it loose, did not have it charged or something. Regardless of that, very solid vid.

Ryu would win. Hands down. His Kaiser form would out class Spyro on every level. Ever just his regular dragon forms would win. The only form Spyro would even have a chance against is his whelp forms.
@@samuellohnas900 While it is true that Ryu IS powerful even in his human form, it's still important to remember that the amount of damage you can do doesn't matter if you can't hit your target.
Peco was always my dump character for when I needed to learn skills from masters. Meryleep, Deis, and Ladon, were usually the masters I put him on which made for a fast Peco, but not tanky.

The dragons don't look as good in this verison in the 4th one the dragons looked so mystical and unique e.g Astral and Tyrant
Personally I don't like the Dragons in 4.
Plus he was always put in warrior form and the dragons were basically summons.
