I really love bangs but whenever I got them at a Hairdresser they would always cut them bluntly, no matter how much I explained I wanted them to be thin. I grew out my bangs, been cutting my hair at home for a long time and now I just swoop my hair back and only take care of the ends, but I might try to do bangs by myself. Great explanation!
my hairdresser done mine so so good like months ago and they were perfectly thin and now i tried to recreate what she did but it just turned out a little thicker :(
My hairdresser did the same thing last year too! I even showed her a picture of how I wanted it.
For me, it's more about the cost. Why spend money to cut your bangs when you can just trim them yourself? It's such a simple task, imo it's not worth it to spend money.
I hate the salon. They NEVER give me what I want. Even my worst DIY bang haircuts weren't as bad as the ones I recieved at the salon, so I don't miss it AT ALL.
I haven’t had bangs since I was 11 years old. They look awful with my naturally curly hair, especially in my local Texas heat and humidity. That didn’t stop me from enjoying this explanation. I may need it in the future for my daughter! You look lovely as always, by the way.

Same here! Except I just cut my bangs yesterday... I have thin and wavy hair, and with the humidity here in Indonesia where I live, it becomes curly. I love bangs, but I didn't realize my hair was going to behave differently compared to when I lived in Europe. 😅 so yesterday I cut it, and today I'm already going crazy. Even after using straightening iron, it becomes curly again. 🤣

Ok but if you're gonna get bangs please don't do them yourself there's a high chance you'll mess it up. Get a professional hair stylist to do them for you. And honestly I really wanted bangs until I got them. Now I think hair looks better without bangs.
I got my Hair cut before the quarantine. Told the hairdresser I didn’t want them too think with too much hair in it because I had that last time and didn’t like it. So naturally he cut a chunk from like over the middle of my head... lol at least no one can see me now while I grow it out 😅
I was feeling really discouraged bc I just got my bangs trimmed at the hairdresser and she made them way too thick. It doesn’t suit my face shape at all and I’ve been struggling. This video was super helpful, just pinning the top layer back already gives me the look I was going for!!

I'm here bcz I'm growing out my bangs but I would like to mention that i did a subtle side buzz cut last week and I just love it. I love it. ❤
It's a good style to try in the lockdown. And it is something new that most girls have not tried bcz of course long hair look so gorgeous. But I always wanted to try buzz cuts so if you too have been wondering if you could try a buzz cut. Go for it actually. It's the right time! 😊
Start with a subtle buzz cut and then you can go further if you want more.
I was already growing out my quarantine bangs in the hopes of being able to put them behind my ears, so they were grown out as much as yours are in the video, and this technique worked P E R F E C T L Y!! The second I was allowed to grow out my bangs/fringe at age 8 I did and would never ever go back, but man I find your hair cutting videos fascinating! This hairstyle and makeup complements you really well! I wish I had straight hair.. with wave/curly hair it just doesnt work and the constant styling to the bangs is very damaging.

Very helpful! Thank you so much! At some point (You probably don't want to do this now.) can you do a tutorial about how to trim the rest of your hair? But, specifically into the V shape? If you don't wear your hair like that, I understand if you don't though. It's just so hard to find that on UA-cam! It must not be popular. I just think it looks so much more fuller and flattering from the back if it's in a V shape. I usually always trim my own bangs. (Thanks to your original trim bangs video.) But when it comes to the rest of my hair, I still go to a salon because I don't think I understand well enough to trust myself to do it on my own.
I did the same. I always cut my bangs myself since I was 12 back in 1999, yes a lot mg time. But at times I have fuller bangs or thinner bangs. Now I want to thin my bangs. It is the same length but I will let them grow out. My hair grows fast due to hair vitamins, msm powder and vitamin c power, and collagen powder. I love bangs but I want them thinner now. I have black cruly/wavy ethnic hair. I do blow dry and flat iron my bangs bit the rest of my hair is natural. These tips are good. Love your videos 🌹 I was wondering if that other company using your image and bangs even contacted you or even apologize to use for basically stealing your idea? Hopefully things worked out hon.

@@nevaehdixon9147 it just looked like longer pieces on the sides of your bangs :D I was scared too, but I just gave it a go and it’s definitely worth it. Now they’re long enough to be in a ponytail! Or sometimes I curl them so they frame my face :)
