Hi Cassie. I've been wrestling with a a nasty illness for 6 weeks now. I'm in a slow recovery mode. I cannot tell you how much this video cheered me up. Your warn, friendly, personality and sunny smiles are better than any medicine. I was so happy and smiling as I watched it. I have a lovely inner glow. Thank you so much. XXX😀❤
@@TruckerCassie Thank you Cassie. Exhausting? Yes, indeed. There are 13 steps from our downstairs, to the next floor (It's a three story house). by the time I've reached the last of the 13 steps, I have to lie on the bed until my breathing and heart rate go back to normal. The effort triggers a violent coughing fit. Not a lot of fun! I'm now in the start of my 8th week of recovery. I am proud to say that I can breath more easily, and I'm nowhere near as weak as I was. I'll be back on the moors hiking, in a week or two, ( hope). The trick is, never to give up. One needs a good, positive, mental attitude. (aka PMA). Onward and upward!!!
Greetings from Scotland! That was a really nice combination of truck and trailer for the city, especially the rear steering axle. Great video as always Cassie! Health and happiness, wherever you are and whatever you do!
Great seeing you again hope all is going well with you and family and your having a wonderful week see you have a great job congrats till next time 💜💯👑
For you who doesn't know or never have been in Sweden - The beautiful road at the start, it's equally beautiful in the other direction too, nice undulating road as you pass the cities of Jonkoping and Husquarna, and then it's uphill - for 26 miles! / B.
Hälsningar från Tyskland! Sad that your old company is no longer there but nice that you have something new again. 👍 I was never a driver myself and therefore never drove a truck on the road. I was a mechanic though and I liked semi-trailers much better than two-axle trailers, at least when maneuvering in the workshop... 😅 So nice up there, I hope I can make it back to Sweden next year, and stay a little longer than this year... 😌
Standard EU sizes on the CE license are, semi 16.50m, rigid + trailer 18.75m, cartransporter 20.75m and then we have the LZV or eco combis for which you need 5 years experience and an extra certification and you can drive 25.25m. The LZV we have in multiple possible set ups but the most common is similar to what you normally drive, rigid followed by a trailer, but we have like 6 or 7 different variations they can have. To top it off, some of the newer trucks are slightly longer due to their new aero packages. Aslong as that model falls within a certain turning radius and have certification to go with it they can still pull standard trailers and exceed the max length. It's only a little bit confusing with all the different regulations for different situations.
So funny! I deliver in Falkenberg every day...but in germany.😅 another cool video. thank you very much! 😍and thank you for my regular portion smith & thell. 😆
Hi Cassie from the UK! It makes me so happy to see a young driver like you genuinely smiling and enjoying the job! At lot of young drivers I see now days look so miserable. The only think that would make this better was if your truck was a DAF (hehe I'm joking) definitely subscribing 😊

Cassie, so happy to have you back! Greetings from Greenwood, Indiana. How is it that you always get a truck with a broken wind screen? Do the company truck owners just not bother to fix them. Bummer for you. Stay safe, well and keep your great vlogs! You are a beautiful young lady with a charming personality and radiant smile.
Hi Cassie its my first time watching....it will not be the last....you have a great attitude to your job and driving though Sweeden looks amazing, beautiful countryside... I wish England was less populated, driving trucks in England can be so so stressful .......keep up the good work 👏
I feel very fortunate that in my company I drive both semi and full truck depending whichever is needed. So both connections have become very familiar and routine thing for me. And because we have both so the full trailers are made with dollies so I get to connect and disconnect them depending which type of combination is needed. Sometimes I even change the truck middle of the day. I can see and understand the other trailer skills becoming rusty if you are only driving one type.
Here in Denmark, we also have 25 meter/60 ton trucks, like Sweden. But not nearly as common as Sweden, yet. I know Danish authorities are following the trials in Sweden with the 30 meter/90 ton trucks. There are videos here on YT, where these long 30m trucks can be seen hauling logs in Sweden.
Lovely video, nice to see you in my town! The Scania has done 45000mil I see, so that's 450000km for the viewers on the continent;-) That wedge that is behind the kingpin on the trailer 10:09 is to steer the rear axle on the trailer. At 11:41 you see the wedge from behind, and the actual locking pin is hidden, you can't actually see this way if it has locked. But the release handle position is sure tell tale.
