- The Cleveland Way is a 110 mile National Trail that runs from the small market town of Helmsley, across the North Yorkshire Moors to Saltburn-by-the-Sea, then turns south and follows the coastline down to the town of Filey.
I've done the hike twice before but really enjoy the variety of scenery and the history along the trail.
Good job Paul, I enjoyed that.
Thanks Jon, appreciate you watching and commenting!
another great video paul , i have done the cleveland way twice when i was a lot younger but i tried to do it just a few years ago and some how fell and injured my shoulder but hope to do it again soon . i am coming up to 64 years young but i love the moors and the coast . i come from Thirsk but now live in Wales. thank for showing me what i miss
Thank you! You're a local then, and will know the view from Sutton Bank pretty well! A shame about your shoulder, as you saw, my hike didn't go quite as planned either. Here's hoping you make it back soon, and have some good weather!
I used Lordstones the year before last I had a tarp that year and the facilities- particularly the cafe and shop were great
Ahhh, so they do open at some point! I don't think I've ever seen anyone there on the 3 times I've passed through!
Enjoyed that ! New sub here , keep it up 🏕
Cheers, much appreciated! Just subbed back, Cramond Island looked interesting!
@@PaulandaPack if your going , go out of season and choose your day wisely in regards to tide times for the causeway . You'll have a better chance of getting the place all to yourself for the night 👍🏻🏕
I camp directly under high cliff mate flat pitch
Thanks mate, I do remember seeing a nice looking area there but decided to push on thinking I could get further than I actually did!
