Solo Hiking 520 Miles Across Spain - Crossing the Pyrenees Mountains on the GR11 Trail: Days 30-33

- Join me as I attempt to thru-hike the GR11 trail in Spain.
The trail runs some 520 miles (840km) from the West (Atlantic) coast of Spain, along the Pyrenees mountains, through Andorra, before terminating on the Eastern (Mediterranean) coast.
I set off on August 28th of 2023, and here you can watch how days 30 to 33 on trail went!

Those bites. 😬 I'd get eaten alive out there. Strangely when we were in the Picos at the same time, we didn't get any mosquitoes.
So onto the last one. It's been a proper marathon hasn't it?!
Thanks fella, yep, I wasn't really sure how to do the videos to be honest. I know I could have cut a load of material out of them but I wanted to be able to look back at them and remember as much as possible! Now the last one is done, I'll have to find a new project lol.
The mosquitoes were mostly concentrated around the Forn de Calc Refugio we stayed at in the trees. I always get big bumps come up with bites, but two or three of them got really nasty this time, and I was a little worried for a week or so. Everything turned out ok though, nothing hatched out of my leg!

Yeah - the big mountains had gone, but there was still some gorgeous scenery out there for sure. I really enjoyed coming across all the old Churches and buildings dotted around the countryside.
