Virginia city is one of our most favorite places on earth. Love that town. We try and get there at least once a year. Fun fact: 70% of Virginia city burned down in the 1800’s and wiped out a massive amount of the town and people.
Passing the silver to get to the gold. What are you over looking!??! That hit way hard!! I actually got cold chills when you said it. What we sometimes think is a burden, turns out to be a blessing!
I played my music, but I turned it off when I was recording. Before I left I had Hertz installed in my tour pack and I played my music more than usual.
Nice video in my stompin' grounds! The drone video gives a nice perspective on old Virginia City. I live near the intersection of 50 and 395 and all that scenery is very familiar. 50 West does take you all the way into Sacramento and is a pretty, scenic ride. Good to hear you talk a little bit about the history of the Comstock and how it might relate to life today. You may not have known, but at the 10:00 mark, there's a huge new mine on the west side of the road. Virginia City is one of our favorite rides! As you rode through town, you rode over many mine tunnels that underlay most of the town. Glad to see that you had a good time and ride through historic Nevada - come on back and we'll take you around to see some more!
I enjoyed this video a bunch. The Virginia city drone shot was amazing. I loved the comstock lode history segment. I am looking to learn how to ride a motorcycle soon and hopefully get to see more of the state of Colorado. Thank you for the great content.
It was awesome meeting you the other day at Bootlegger man! (Charcoal Denim Street Glide) :) Loved watching this part of the video and seeing these parts of our country! Hopefully I will be able to do this! Ride Safe!
Out here in the west you have to really pay attention for the roads. With the cold and snow, then the heat and rain many cracks and holes. Problem is people get caught up sightseeing and hit these and get hurt.
Would love to take a trip like this, wife is NOT into traveling on the bike, we have taken a trip with the bike for several years hauling it to a location and riding every day from wherever we go. Nc, Mi, Co, Tn. Just can’t talk her into leaving home on bike.
Great video! Just out there last year but watching your vlogs makes me want to go again. What was total number of days you and Mrs Traveling Tall were on the road?
hey tall, my wife and I are in Dandridge for a couple days and was wondering what is that highway you always ride on and make videos around the Cherokee national forest? here to do some sightseeing and riding and just looking for some tips. thank you
That $400k would be over $16 million today. Still doesn’t seem to be that much, but I guess money was a lot more valuable when it was actually backed with something.
Whats up Traveling Tall you ready to run ZULU or The other Bike ? I think OfficialMac would be a good race. that zipper performance motor is a bad boy . @OfficialMac
Love Virgina City. Watched Bonanza as a kid and it was one of my first bucket towns to know off.
That will PREACH! Sometimes when you feel like your stuck…..Your actually in the middle of God’s plan and the blessings He has for you.
Man what a word think about it "what are you overlooking in your life" let's slow and take advantage of the blessings in your life.
Cool video! It's awesome the wife is with you making a lifetime memory.
Great series. The famiily that glides together, stays together.
1 of my favorite places in the world
Thank you for sharing
Continue to keep the shiny side up and enjoy the adventure!

We must have traveled the same roads but in reverse. Thanks for sharing your video
Enjoy and be safe out there.

Awesome video Tall. Really enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next one!
Great video, especially the drone shots

And yeah alright.some of us think that a long road trip means riding everyday.plan.stay someplace for a day.relax.
I rode around lake Tahoe earlier this yr on a road trip to death valley from ohio. Lake Tahoe sure was pretty
Great video Tall
Bro., the sound of that “iron horse” is amazing but I’d, definitely, need my tunes on a long stretch through the salt flats! 😅😅😅
I played my music, but I turned it off when I was recording. Before I left I had Hertz installed in my tour pack and I played my music more than usual.

Loving the vlogs Tall - keep up the great work!!!! from a Street Glide rider in the UK🤘

Great video, the drone footage really takes it to the next level and brings everything to life, really enjoy your videos✌️
I was wondering why you stayed in the left lane when we rode back from Carpenters Bluff bridge.
My kind of adventure!
That was an amazing video Glad you guys had a great ride ✌🏾
I just left reno and took that same road you are on and it is nice
You're probably already headed back east or already home. I wish I would have known you were headed west. I hope you and momma are having a nice trip.

There’s a prime rib Restaurant, their lake Tahoe that’s awesome
The food was great at Tahoe but it was horrible at Montego Bay in Wendover. I got a Ribeye and it was the worst steak I ever had in my life!
Beautiful scenery! That is definitely on our bucket list. Were you there during the week or weekend? Thanks for sharing
How did your wife like the seat for that distance? Awesome video!
Great video! Just out there last year but watching your vlogs makes me want to go again. What was total number of days you and Mrs Traveling Tall were on the road?
The big question is Mama hooked and planning the next trip?
I’m God fearing, I don’t mess with haunted places.
They don't call Wendover NV. "Bendover NV." for nothing. That town is good at separating people from their money.
What’s your preference with overall wind protection and control?
SG or RG?

Come to SC. No snow and still horrible roads.
I have two broken windshields and 3 nail damaged tires to prove it.
All in 6 months. 😒
Whats up Traveling Tall you ready to run ZULU or The other Bike ? I think OfficialMac would be a good race. that zipper performance motor is a bad boy . @OfficialMac
so sorry you failed to recognize the value that the Wendover area contributed to the WW2 effort. Safe riding.
I live close to Oak Eidge Tennessee, so I know what else Wendover is famous for.
I’m in San Francisco CA
If you’re ever in Cali let me know
Maybe a meet and great for your subscribers
Tall you know youre picky with the food so i know you probably just wanted a steak or sumthin lol
Not picky, I just like good food. That steak was horrible. You know me, nothing fancy.
@@TravelingTall no doubt bro
We're you headed tall? Would love to meet in person my man.
