Ahh…we’re finding ourselves in a new circle of life - a new year and it’s usually a time we think of resolutions; how can we make our life flow in a smoother way, and how can we live our life in a more fulfilling way?
I feel the passion and desires we hold are keys to what our heart and soul want for us. What if you were able to take something that you love and bring it into every day; even for just a few moments? Could this be the beginning of the transformation you are looking for?
I remember so many years ago I was working in land development in Los Angeles and I was under a lot of stress. I spent a few thousand dollars to figure out where my stress was coming from; even though I knew all along. Sundays I would spend some of my day dreading my Mondays; how sad! Then, I thought what if I were to do something on Monday that I would enjoy and would bring more balance into my life. At that time I was looking to bring my body into better shape, so I decided to take an aerobics class before my workday started and also incorporate something I enjoyed after work, like taking a walk. I found the exercise made me feel so good and energetic. I think it’s really funny because it only took about three Mondays to turn my attitude about Mondays around.
It’s time to remember what it’s like to feel alive.
