Photography - capturing memories and creating story - visionary imagery
I love and enjoy being in nature and when I participate with nature, I feel the enchanted space with which to create. You could say that my photographic artistry is like a living mandala, for it embraces a rich tapestry of love, joy, beauty and wonder through the people I portray, the exquisite landscape which shares its essence with me and the plants and animals with which I share my Earth home. It is this glorious life force which surges through all creation, that I have the opportunity to create within.
My photography is like a tapestry because each aspect of the work I do gives a richness to my whole body of creation. I love collaborating with others in all celebrations. Family portraits with pets, couples, storytelling portraits, as well as my love for the culinary - creating cookbooks, reflecting passion of the chefs and artists books for those who are passionate about what they do.

Beauty An Essential Force

Beauty, just as love, is really all around us. It surrounds us, supports us, weaves through the intricate way we are created. Beauty is truly an essential force, even though we may not view it as so. We see the beauty in our relationships, in the natural world, through the wide angles we observe and the small, yet exquisite creations. Because it weaves through our lives in all we are, we may not realize how essential the force of beauty really is.
I had the opportunity to listen to Gregg Braden during his Wisdom Codes podcast and there were several elements which really touched my heart; some familiar and some not so much.
He said we can shift our thinking through embracing beauty as a force of nature and in all things. And…when we shift our perception and our words, we are changing the physiology of our being; which enables us to change the way we respond to the experiences of our life.
Gregg has been able to spend time with many cultures across the globe and he shared the Navajo prayer, which I love:
Walking in Beauty(A Navajo/Diné traditional prayer that guides and inspires all my work)
Today I will walk out,
today everything unnecessary will leave me,
I will be as I was before,
I will have a cool breeze over my body.
I will have a light body,
I will be forever happy, nothing will hinder me.
I walk with Beauty below me.I walk with Beauty above me.I walk with Beauty all around me.My words will be Beautiful.
