Just want to add, regarding the ice wolf mechanic, if you find yourself in the wrong circle, running across the ice to an adjacent circle is perfectly survivable. Don’t be afraid to do it if you need to.
On Mustadio it's actually meaningless to be topped off for the sniper attack. Tested involuntarily (was crying for heals that never came) and the attack only reduces you to low HP, it will not kill you if you do the mechanic correctly.

Agrias only uses "Holy Sword" skills as she's a Holy Knight, but Thunder God Cid (very likely the most OP character in the entire game, even including the "secret" characters like Cloud Strife or Balthier) has access to Holy Sword, Dark Sword, & Swordplay skills just from his starting "Thunder God" class (which basically gives him access to skills from 3 separate classes, the Holy Knight, Dark Knight, and Knight respectively)....he also joins you pre-equipped with *Excalibur* which grants him a permanent Haste buff just from having the sword equipped.

Even with duty finder, it's usually fun for the first week as we're all in the same progression boat of learning what mechanics do what and plan how to deal with them. That said, a healer did ragequit on the second wipe to Cid for whatever reason (day 2 ragequits...always funny to see that), even though almost everyone was new and we were all really laid back after wipes (analyzing what went wrong and figuring out a strategy to deal with it). We had someone who became our "raid leader", so props to them (I don't recall the name off the top of my head, or I'd give them a shoutout for being freaking awesome). I wasn't too fond of the final boss, only because it felt like it was more of "let's throw a bunch of mechanics at the players at the same time) instead of mechanics such as in the second and third bosses. I literally could not process everything happening on the screen during what I call the "chaos phase" of the final boss (that time when the boss summons three previous raid bosses and mechanics go off either at the same time or so close together that it feels like they happen at once). On our second attempt (after wiping in that phase), I realized I processing it all would be impossible for me, so I decided that I'd eat a couple hits from the moving water spouts if it meant being able to dodge the divebomb, proximity hammer, and timed explosions. So if anyone else has issues with processing that much information on their screen, that's a tip; you don't want to be caught in the divebomb because it'll give a nasty debuff, so just pick one of the "smaller" things to be hit with (one or two hits from the water spout or one hit from a floor aoe should be alright, just try to limit it to 2 hits...3 if you have high VIT or have VIT melds).

hmm...so if mustadio, agrias, and T.G Cid are all lucavi then does that mean that ramza's party failed in orbonne monastary? or did they just sacrifice themselves to save everyone else?
I love how this is a challenge but very fair too. If your teams do stuff right then it is win. If not, you could still win but it is a lot harder to. I feel like the second raid was too easy really.
Story wise, they're testing you if you are a good guy who want and can 'kill' the last boss or a Bad guy who want to freed the last boss. Mustadio, Agrias and T. G. is protecting the Monastery because apereantly Ramza can't kill the last boss himself so he sealed the last boss on the Necrohol on the monastery.
Finally got around to running the 24 man raid. It’s so sad! They all sacrificed themselves to seal ultima. Found myself standing and listening to the dialogue during battle some times. And when they showed up in the last fight? Awesome. And I loved the last cutscene in the dungeon. Man it was all so bitter sweet. Even the two female knights that served with Agrias were there!
I swear to god, these raids make me not even want to play anymore. There are like 20 steps for every fucking boss in them. It's like my eyes glaze over after a while and I have to keep rewinding, and I know I'm going to forget at least half of this shit by the time I get in there. Whatever though. Thanks for the guide.
Am I the only one disappointed by this "tribute" to FFT? It's not even the Ultima from FFT. It's more styled like the one from FFTA/2 and the final scene with Ramza & Delita feels so... empty and contrived.
I haven't done this raid yet. Just wanted to see how my Tactics people looked in 3d...was sorely disappointed when I saw they looked like reject Voltron enemies.
And thunder god is super simple i dont know why people find it hard. When he stabs his two swords in front of him you stay closest to him. When he has his 2 arms held up holding the swords you get away. and you get away from wherever the swords are being held up. dusk blade is just dps go to their spot (in my case we go left.) you get a circle? u drop it in the back (or to the left in my case) like what is the issue here lol. i didn't even watch a guide i cleared this without one explanation. -_-
I keep hearing about groups timing out and wiping over and over to these bosses. Anyone else here on a JP server clear it first try without much difficulty? My group wiped once to Cid and that was it. Every run since then has had no problems at all.
The Ivalice storyline is sooo boring.... It's the worst storyline in FFXIV.... I've lost count the number of times i had fallen asleep progressing through the story.

Broooooo thank you
Over a year later and people are still failing this and need echo buff to clear.
Is the coin a weekly thing or can you farm it?
one per week only for now.
@@anthonydelfino6171 shame, oh well
Everyone became a persona. :|
THANK YOU!! The amount of people who put the Thunder God markers between the circles frustrates me to no end! That's not good positioning!
EX mode please
Here because I had no idea what happened and how I died ;u;
I was always a fan of difficulty spikes... we are going to have to work together here peeps. ^_^
Am I the only one disappointed by this "tribute" to FFT? It's not even the Ultima from FFT. It's more styled like the one from FFTA/2 and the final scene with Ramza & Delita feels so... empty and contrived.
What did you call the Gougan coin? It is Gou-gan
Nice downvotes! Also, HYD? ; ]
I haven't done this raid yet. Just wanted to see how my Tactics people looked in 3d...was sorely disappointed when I saw they looked like reject Voltron enemies.
Toddy Surcharge when you finish the raid you see what they really like like in 3D
this is just your opinion. personally i feel like Ramza and Alma came out perfect in the flashback cutscenes
I've lost count the number of times i had fallen asleep progressing through the story.
last boss was dissapointing, expected much more from the final one for the expansion
MTQ > all
all i wanted was to waste my time watching a raid....not a tutorial....
