- It's Lake trout season. Trout can be caught Lake side or in deep harbor waters. Most of the trout are towards the bottom of the water collum. I like catching them on Kastmasters and Mepps FlyingC.

I've caught a lot of lakers in Chi on flicker shad. They aren't the hardest fighting fish but they get pretty big and are real pretty. Sweet vid, keep em coming!

Some people tell me they do not like the taste of lake trout. I do smoke a lot of them and also cook them on my grill or smoker but up by Ludington, MI there is a fish house that deep fries them. Cut into pieces and put a breading on them. Not bad. I normally fish out of MC and love using spinners and Moonshine spoons. A lot of people around here also use jigging spoons here too. Nice video. Do I need a pier pass to fish that spot. Also where can I park to fish there?
Go to Montrose harbor and got to the tackle shop there and buy a parking pass for dusable/Burnham they are $20 for a month right now and you park at cords
