Watching you from Naperville. With the recent removal of Hammel Woods dam near Shorewood I’m hoping the DuPage river fishing improves a great deal in 2022.
From shorewood as well live on the river and grew up with great fishing these last 5 years have been really bad tho only pulling out a few big smallies hoping it really helps
@@abewines3376 There is also a dam farther South in Channhon that they have been working on along with the I&M canal bypass. Not sure of the scope of that project but it may improve things.
Excellent start Jesus, Happy New Year !!! 🍾 🎉🎣You always have awesome things to show us. Where are you at? I always tell my friends... I have a professor in you tube 🤫
You need a salmon stamp for any salmonoid species in Lake Michigan… which include lake trout, coho salmon, king salmon, brown trout, rainbow trout and skamania. The trout stamp only applies for spring and fall inland trout which are usually stocked rainbow trout and golden trout
Man I would love to go fishing downtown but I have zero clue on what to do. I mostly fish for catfish. So I really don’t know what baits yo use for what fish. I kinda don’t wanna embarrass myself going and looking like a noob
Man... I think I'm driving to Chicago... It's like a grab-bag special. You never know what you're going to catch.
Right now smallmouth bass are in the harbors. You might also get a big pike. Good luck. Let me know how you do.
@@Jesus312Fishing I may have to figure out how to link up with you... Show me around!

Hopefully it improves.
I live in Shorewood.. hoping the same for Hammel Woods... Only will make the smallie fishing better.

What time do you go out to catch them I go out and I don't get anything at all but rock bass and catfish 😢
I see my old fishing spot. Have not been to Chicago for awhile. It is not where you fishing.

Good luck out there. You'll get one soon!
Awesome video brother 💯🤜🤛🎣
Caught my first laker last week while perch fishing on UL Gear. It was a blast! But you two were putting up a clinic!
Nice job! These was my first time catching a laker too.

Awsome catch man! Been watching all your videos. Just bought that same spoon from Henry’s today and I’m gonna try it out at dusable tomorrow
Thanksa Did you have any luck fishing!
@@Jesus312Fishing unfortunately not, it was a tad too windy and cold by the lake so I resorted to carp fishing in Chinatown which was a success!
G-Zus! Glad to see you doing well! Old friend DeMonk put me on your channel, looking forward to enjoying your content brother!
Very nice. Great start for 2022.

It’s time to do laker fishing once again, where exactly is the fisherman’s lot for dusable? I can’t seem to find it on the map.
Nice work! Who would've thought kastmaster? I would've guessed something bigger than 3/8oz.
I'm using 6lb test so 3/8OZ works perfect. The other guy was using a 1/2oz spoon.
Do you need an illinois trout stamp to catch trout on the lake or is it just for inland lakes?
Yes , you do need separate stamp for Great Lakes Trout and Salmon
You need a salmon stamp for any salmonoid species in Lake Michigan… which include lake trout, coho salmon, king salmon, brown trout, rainbow trout and skamania. The trout stamp only applies for spring and fall inland trout which are usually stocked rainbow trout and golden trout
Is the stamp for taking home salmon?
Jesus another fine show!
Lamprey must have gotten that laker. Nice fish brother!
I think so too. Thanks!
Nice!
Great fishing! Is this catch and release only??
Thanks Bessie. Your able to keep a couple. I don't eat lake trout, especially trout this size.
Great video. Is there any place along the lake where a person can fish if they are in a wheelchair?
You shoulb be able to fish Monroe and DuSable harbor. Good Luck!

Have you tried 87th street slip
I heard it was doing great for perch
Yes I went a few weeks ago. I'm working on the video this week.
@@Jesus312Fishing im hoping to go for some perch at the slip this year but i might just try a harbor or navy peir
Would a medium heavy rod work for that?
I was using a medium light. A medium heavy will work. Its really up to you but a medium heavy might be a bit too much.
New subscriber here. I’m new here in Chicago. Can i come with you guys fishing?
What times would you say is best for lake trout?
It's really hard to say. I was there late morning early afternoon.
What size is the Kastmaster?
Description says 3/8 ounce.
Where is this place?
