I like when someone is willing to tweek an already good design and make it their own. Been watching a lot of these for the past couple years and yet to build. ya might have just got me to do it.
Hell yeah! It's been a journey to see the least. I've learned a ton.
I bought JDs plans also and I’m finally getting started on buying the materials. Awesome job man. Keep up the awesome videos!
Exciting news! Thank you
Also design your table slats with points on both sides, that way you can flip it over as it gets used up, it also helps water flow to your drain. The points can be as simple as a series of zigzag shapes.
That's definitely an option!
I really appreciate you showing the oops-es along with the successes. Keep it up man! I'm planning my build and trying to figure out how I plan to attack this project.
I will try. And yeah probably the most important step your on. Good luck!
Looks like a great build! I like the idea of that angle being made out of aluminum
Thanks. Yes, for me, there was really no other option.
some metal snails would look really cute
You will get your snails lol
Love the build, I just ordered the electronics to get going on mine. Would love to use your extra X carriage on my build!
Thanks. Electrical was probably the most difficult for me. And I might put some up for sale soon.
I've watched all the videos. Love them all and I plan on redoing mine like yours. I need that aluminum one. Your the man!
Awesome, post some videos or pictures when you finish. Would love to check it out
Please let me have that one. I will post a video on installation and usage.
You have a really nice set up, I'm looking forward on what you might make next with it 👍
Thanks John!
The holder for the z axis looks great
Thanks I think it turned out good too
I would totally buy the custom aluminum parts for the cnc.
Noted. Hopefully we can get more people on board then I can make a few more
im very interested , thank you for the video !
Great. Thanks for the comment!
Congratulations dude 🎉.
Thanks, it will hopefully be completed in the next episode.
Water table is the way to go
I think I prefer the down draft table. But they are to expensive for what in trying to do.
I'm not knocking your ideas but you really need to configure a THC, torch height controller to help your plasma cutter do what its supposed to do. There are a ton of simple DIY examples of a controllable Z-axis that won't cost very much to add to your system. You'll thank me the first time you cut thin material and it warps from the heat. Its also a key factor to rate of consumables wear.
Thanks for the input. I do plan on putting in a z axis and THC. Hopefully in the next few months.
Definitely buy one if you start selling them. Have injured your build.
Good to know 👍🙏
Great build I would be interested if you start building the parts out of aluminum
Awesome!
I like your build I'm wanting too build one the same size or just a little bit bigger. I've watched all your build videos so far nice job !
Thank you! Definitely recommend building one. I've learned a lot
You're welcome what size is yours if you don't mind me asking?
@@gordonwalker7494 little bigger than a 3'x4' cutting area
I'm thinking about a 4x4 to start with
@@gordonwalker7494 cool. Going with belt drive or ball screw?
👍🏻🤜🏻🍺✌🏻☝🏻Will like to get one aluminum part, that looks😎
I'll see what I can do
What did your tables cut size end up at? I'm wanting to do and 4'x4' or 4'x5' table
Little bigger than a 3'x4'. Like 3.5 x 4.5
Can you do the bearing blocks too? id buy the whole set if offered
I've thought about it. Just have to get a few quotes to see how expensive they would be.
Do you have a electric scheme? With al the components you use.
I didn't have one yet. But stay tuned. I'm trying to put the entire package together
what price point are you trying to hit on the aluminum X axis bearing block? I'm likely to want one, but still, price makes a difference :)
Haven't quite figured it out but it's not going to be cheap.
I recently built a jd garage 5x10 table but the 3d parts are not it.
5x10?? That's huge. Hope it worked out well
I miss the funny image edit on the video
I can always throw more of that in lol
interested in buying alum. part
Noted 👍
@@ThyialIndustries how thick is it may have a cc roter that could use one. so would need 2
@@glassice03 I don't understand what you mean?
@@ThyialIndustries I may need two how thick is the angle you used may want to use it on my router
@@glassice03 ohhh. It's 1/2"
