Tom, I am with. Fellow addict of 25 plus years of crack cocaine. I am not rich financially or have a dream job. I work on a chicken farm that I started working at through work release. I planned on leaving as soon as I got out. It has been 7 years since I got out and I would never dream of leaving my job. I may not be rich financially but I am rich in gratitude, thankfulness and for the people around me that are my co-workers and friends. That includes my boss that had thousands of opportunities to fire me but instead seen something in me that I did not. I am happiest I ever been, but not content. Love your rap, it rings absolute truth! 💯

As a man who has been homeless 8 years. I found Tom 5 years ago, the last time chance I had in a house. I heard "helluvit" and been hooked ever since.
I'm chronically mentally ill and been struggling the last year with it. I'll have it the rest of my life. But I choose to work. I don't want SSI. That's how I'm able to afford my phone bill and Spotify to listen to him.
I heard this song a day after it came out and been listening to it multiple times everyday. The song helps me cope with my paranoia.
I have respect for Tom now. Not letting the image of a rapper consume him. Not letting the money consume him. I imagine taking care of my future wife the way he takes care of his family. I don't really have a family and things are so messed up that it's best that I leave and go do my own thing. I don't want millions or fancy anything except a beautiful kind woman who respects the kind of man I am and in turn I will work my mother fucking ass off.
It's hard to just do it for yourself. Knowing that nobody's hoping you're successful so you can help them. Nobody is counting on me. I am for myself. But I don't have that big of an ego, my heart needs a womans touch.
Listening to rap that isn't constantly trying to get you to do hella drugs and fuck hella women is good.

I'm 31 and I'll be starting my life over from scratch four states away from where I was born. I have to admit it. I'm addicted to video games.
I have to find the power to quit. I know I can. I'm intelligent enough to do anything that I put my mind towards. I'm going to start by changing my routine.
I want to focus on communication and technical skills first. Then, play video games later in the day or on my day off. I know that I won't be able to just quit right away, but if I can reduce the ammount of time that I'm playing video games then that will be a good start. I beat video games all the time, now it's time to beat the hardest video game of them all... real life.
I have a 10 hour drive ahead of me tomorrow. I couldn't have heard this song at a better time.

Hes helped me more than VA ever did. Id listen to Tom to help make the thoughts go away. The VA told me they put transwomen in MST living spaces for women who were SA'd while serving. They house MST survivors with men if we need inpatient MH care. Thats counterintuitive to what we need.
So, Tom and Equestrian Therapy help me. I highly recommend Equestrian Therapy. The WWP sponsors me. I volunteer and I ride.

I have played some of your music for men on my floor who I know can relate. Success stories are much needed to hear because they are few and far between these days. You'll probably never see this but I was with an abusive alcoholic. Got pregnant with my daughter because he came home one night and raped me. I was a high school drop out. Got my GED when she was 9 months old, she's the best thing that ever happened to me by the way. I left when she was 2 years old, I should have left sooner... But I was young. I then went to medical school to be a medical assistant and an x-ray tech. Then I went back to school to be an RN.... Then I became an alcoholic myself. You don't know how much your music and your words mean to me. It's hard not to cry while I'm saying this but you are an inspiration and I just love you so much. I never thought I could say that about someone I never met. What you are doing is so inspirational and I think a lot of us need you and your voice more than you know. ❤

hi Tom, i highly doubt that you will even see this message among the thousands you get. however, im going to tell you anyways. im going to be 47 years old this year and have suffered and struggled my whole life. i had given up and believed my life was over, done, finished, that it was too late for me and that there is no hope to see a positive change. then you drop this and its helped to change my life. i know Father in heaven is the true source of the strength i have found through this song but i have this need to tell you im starting over. im taking a 90 degree turn and walking right off the path i was on. i have returned to school (college) to educate myself in a whole new career that i never even considered before. it does not match me or who i am at all but enough is enough. its time to make a real change and walk into the unknown instead of holding onto that which i do. so know this, how you end this song has come true, you have shown me its never too late and for that i am humbled, thank you with the utmost sincerity. I am now 58 with a felony committed 32 years ago that everyone told me would ruin my life. I worked shit jobs, was homeless, doing drugs and drinking more than I should.
Years later I gave up working dead end jobs, barely surviving. Now I have worked in county jails supervising inmates, am now a state licensed armed security guard who carries a valid ccp.
I refused to believe the lies that I wouldn't amount to anything, but look at me now. Just wish my dad was alive to see what I've done with my life.

If you are a Christian you should not be applauding this. Yes, it is good to overcome sin. But his message is one of pride and arrogance. Such is not from wisdom, God will destroy all pride. As a Christian Tom's music bears some truth to it but his theatrics are still demonic in appearance and nothing he sings is in the form of praise for The Father Almighty. He claims himself to be a goat (greatest of all time) but in Christian terms goats are on the left of Lord Christ and they will all perish. Those on the right of Lord Christ are all lambs, not goats. I think there is a good reason for this "interesting" play on words.

I had a accident in 2001 and drank and drove. My car rolled and ended up on top of me. If i had hurt someone beside myself the guilt would have eat me alive. The only reason I lived was because I was limber due to being drunk. Ironic.
