Northern Bog Lemming Quest in Maine

Based on what we know about rodent tail length and animal shape and size in Maine, we believe that this could very well be a lemming. Is it a northern bog lemming or the southern variety? Maybe it is a meadow vole with a shorter tail than the others have? We will continue to capture video of these animals and eventually either find scat for genetic testing or trap one.
