Hey ! Plantain taste sweets while beef onion peppers taste salty. YOU CAN NOT mix sweets with salt 😝🤢
I know the salty sweet flavor combination sounds like it wouldn't work but it's actually delicious
This comment alone proves either you know nothing about cooking or your parents never liked it enough to actually put effort in dinner.
@@khaleesi-3946 In my region and country (Indonesia) we never cooked something sweet mix with savory. When I was in High School, the cafeteria never serves that kind of food. Even my parents haven't cooked that food yet
Well people have their likes and dislikes, but there's a dish similar to this pastelon (puerto rican lasagna), using the sweet platains, but if your not a fan of the whole sweet and salty thing, jibaritos is basically a sandwich using the unripe plantain as the "bread" it's pretty good :)
As a chef I can assure you that these flavors work I once did a chirzo/onion and pepper gnocchi with a pumpkin cream sauce yuuummm!!!!
