I understand everyone hated this guy and he had an ego the size of Jupiter but I appreciate how all business he was after he tagged one. Never stared at it and did crazy bat flips. Mostly just put his head down and started trotting.

@@estebandelacruz2193 I'm over it. Nelson Cruz's error and Feliz's choke job doomed the rangers during the 2011 run. Despite that, Josh Hamilton's 11th inning HR should have won the damn game. He gives them a freaking 2 run lead in extras, and they can't hold it!

No matter what they say about him he still had to swing the bat and hit the ball. He also had incredible bat speed to drive the ball and the sweetest swing to go along with it.

Yes, but understand how ped works bud. It help him with recovery, so he was able to play consistent at a high level. It's cheating because while other players will slow down, he kept going strong cuz of the ped help. Understand they play 162 games a year with playoffs and recovery very short. Adding on spring training too you have a lot of wore and tear on the body. The older you get, the harder it is. I say all this respectful. Arod to me is one of the best ever. My favorite player. When people write this comment, they clearly not using logic no offense

A controlled balanced swing that he used to consistently barrel up the baseball. Lots of players swing so hard trying to hit the 500 ft HRs-don’t need to do that. How many lasers did ARod hit to straightaway center?

Alex Rodriguez tremendous yankee tremendous power display i was so glad that he came and stayed a yankee till he retired he's what we needed another fine piece to putting together that championship yankee team of 2009 I loved Alex being a yankee he's such great clutch player in game situations he's was perfect for getting us out of trouble and saving the day for all yankee fans he was an updated version of Reggie Jackson only right handed and great defensive skills as well he played 3rd base very well a yankee forever and a well deserved hall of famer

It was Alex, Ken Griffy JR., or Barry Bonds from that era who was the best. Bonds was probably the best of the bunch due to his overall skill set. He walked a lot, and stole over 500 bases while playing gold glove outfield. Young Pre 1999 Steroid Barry bonds was still easily an all time great. Just wish he hadn't got so jealous of Sammy and McGuire. His Ego got in the way of his easy HOF case, despite his horrible Diva attitude.
