Perfect list! Halloween can NOT be beat by any film in the slasher category. Halloween is number one and always will be! You are very wise for putting it in #1! great video, great list and great shirt haha.
My Bloody Valentine was just shown here at my indie theater on V Day. It was amazing on the big screen. If you get a chance to see TCM on the big screen, do it...so worth it. I agree with you The Burning is way better then Friday the 13th. It's also got that underground feeling to it. Halloween is the master of them all that's for sure. I love the feel to it, sound effects, and the simple story without a boatload of extra characters. Excellent job !!!
Nice list sir! Some very sold choices you got there! I hope the upcoming scream 4 pays off. I have been reading some good reviews for it so far. rock on!
A nightmare on Elm street franchise is my all time favourite horror/slasher movie franchise. I have loved them since I was really young. I used to make my mum put them on for me before I went to bed at night lol. Such a horror movie buff 💜
Yeah the new ones aren't very good lol. I don't really enjoy any new horror movies at all to be honest, I prefer old classics. I mostly watch murder and serial killer documentaries now rather than movies.
Great list man!! still have to see a couple: Valentine and Sleepaway Camp, love the rest though especially The Burning, i do agree it is slightly better than Friday the 13th and of course Halloween had to be number 1
i saw sleep away camp when it came out, i think i was 8... I didnt really understand the ending at the time LOL!!!! Loved happy birthday to me, very classic indeed. i saw halloween as a kid too, it is still my #1 fav of all time. Another good slasher is Pieces :)
Great shirt man! Ive never seen Valentine. Sleepaway Camp is classic! The original My Bloody Valentine is great, its mentioned a pretty good bit but I still think its underrated. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is my alltime favortie flick! The Fog is great! Tom Atkins is the man! The Burning is cool. Halloween is a classic! Nice picks man!
Great list! I agree with you in almost every one except for The Burning because i haven't seen it yet.I'm going to look for it.And yes,the # 1 slasher film of all times without a doubt is the John Carpenter 1978 Masterpiece Halloween! That movie is the reason why i'm a horror fan!
My list: 10. Happy Birthday To Me 9. My Bloody Valentine 8. You Might Be The Killer? 7. Sleepaway Camp 6. Terror Train 5. Scream 4. Black Christmas 3. Friday the 13th part 4 2. The Burning 1. Halloween
check out "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon". It's like two movies in one, it's a slasher and a mockumentary, very original. Btw my family and I agree "Urban Legend " is one of the great slasher movies, we love it, think it is very underrated.
Great Picks Wes! Killer tshirt! Urban Legend is good, Sleepaway Cap a fantastic film, lol yeah that ending was so crazy...i havent seen Happy Birthday to Me but i love that cover art...My Bloody Valentine was great..Candyman another great film..yeah! Texas Chainsaw Massacre aammaaazziingg!, yes that dinner seen is disturbing...The fog great 2..The Burning is awesome..Of Course Halloween its such a classic no doubt, Michael Myers Rules!!!
I love your video and i like your pics. i will give you my list in no order since i love all of these, i also stayed with just slasher a killer stalking teens etc.. anyway hear are 10. 10. Terror Train, 9. Mad Man. 8.Black Christmas. 7. Texas Chainsaw Massacre. 6. Happy Birthday too me 5. Maniac. 4. The Burning. 3. Friday the 13th. 2. The Prowler. 1. Halloween, then you have to also add Hell Night, Slumber Party Massacre, Graduation Day and Pieces.
Fuckin classic, u sit there with clear dedication to endorsing horror flix & somehow, without fail youve got 100 seasons of er on the shelf wtf!? Hilarious dude, fuckin hilarious!
Loved the intro, it's like it was taken from Oxford english dictionary! And that shirt Wes, very cool. Picking the 'all time' faves is quite hard for sure. Saw Valentine and Urban Legend at the cinema, nice on the big screen! Not seen Sleepaway Camp. Some versions of Happy B'day to Me censor the shish-kebab murder. Yes I love MBV, uncut of course! TCM, the Fog, Burning etc, awesome selections Wes.
F***K YES!!!!. So glad you chose to do this vid, as I love slashers. I have Valentine, but havn't seen it yet. Interesting list there, some I would include, so I wouldn't. Glad to see My Bloody Valentine included. Sleepaway Camp and Happy Birthday To Me are great too and Halloween is a must at number 1.
.lol The Burning is great. My List: (worst to best) Children of the Corn Sleepaway Camp The Burning Candyman Scream Nightmare On Elm Black Christmas Jason Lives Halloween Chainsaw
1 Friday the 13 2 Nightmare on Elm st. 3 Halloween 4 Texas Chainsaw Massacre 5 Scream 6 The shinning 7 Phsyco 8 My Bloody Valentine 9 Leprechaun 10 Chucky
I agree with most of the films. I never really regarded The Fog as a slasher. I consider it more of a ghost story. I never saw The Burning. I saw the 2nd and 3rd Sleepaway camp and HATED them both. I couldn't imagine liking the first. Valentine rocked. I saw it in theatres in 2001. I hate psychological thrillers, so My Bloody Valentine would've never made my list. Still I did enjoy his list, especially Halloween.
just saw the opening scence of urband legend thats probley the best opening of a movie that i ever seen r talking about when she goes back in her car right?
well you didn't pick well known ones for alot of them but you were right on the money for #1 90% of the slashers wouldn't exist if it weren't for # one it was the first one that just gave us that I'm gonna die and there's nothing I can do feeling
I wish they would start slasher films again. I mean there are a few like hush but we need more slasher franchises. Most of the modern horror films are about ghosts and demons which is fine but we just need more slasher franchises. I mean there are still slasher films there just not legends like the old slashers like Jason or Michael Myers
He Knows You're Alone is my favorite non-mainstream slasher. My other favorites are Halloween/Halloween 2 (one whole story), Friday the 13th Part II, My Bloody Valentine, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Burning, My Bloody Valentine and The Prowler.
Check out the Scream films if you not seen them already. Hallaween was the top slasher film of the 80's and Scream was the top slasher films of the 90's. Love the build up Ghostface does just before attacking his victim and how in the Scream films you learn about "rules to surviving a horror film" i.e. never say "I'll be right back". Also the scream films are great to keep you guessing who the killer is (could be anyone).
Any Friday the 13th (1-6) is a classic but you can't make a top ten slasher flick list without adding Sean S. Cunningham's original Friday the 13th. Here are ten more must have slashers, starting with legendary grandfather of Italian horror and the true creator of the body count slasher film Mario Bava's Twitch of the Death Nerve. Sean S. Cunningham literally ripped this film off to create Friday the 13th all the way down to 13 kills at a camp on a beautiful crystal clear lake lol. This list is in no order but it does prove a top ten list is impossible. Enjoy fellow horror freaks! 1)Twitch of the Death Nerve (aka:Bay of Blood)2)Psycho3)Black Christmas4)Maniac5)Scream6)Deep Red7)High Tension8)Funhouse9)Stage Fright10)Nightmare on Elm stEtc...........
wow urban legend and not scream? sleepaway camp and the burning but not friday the 13th? well then again it is your list but you dont often see that lol but anyway good list

Perfect list! Halloween can NOT be beat by any film in the slasher category. Halloween is number one and always will be! You are very wise for putting it in #1! great video, great list and great shirt haha.

A nightmare on Elm street franchise is my all time favourite horror/slasher movie franchise. I have loved them since I was really young. I used to make my mum put them on for me before I went to bed at night lol. Such a horror movie buff 💜
Has to be 1 or 2. I'm a really big fan of Stephen King too, although he is responsible for my irrational fear of clowns lol 😂
Yeah the new ones aren't very good lol. I don't really enjoy any new horror movies at all to be honest, I prefer old classics. I mostly watch murder and serial killer documentaries now rather than movies.
Yeah Misery, It, Pet Sematary, The Shining, Carrie and Thinner are my favourite
Halloween and the fog are in my top horror movies ever, but I am a big fan of the psycho movies as well.
Great list man!! still have to see a couple: Valentine and Sleepaway Camp, love the rest though especially The Burning, i do agree it is slightly better than Friday the 13th and of course Halloween had to be number 1

@MrStevederry Have fun with Sleepaway camp, hope no one has ruined the ending for you. It's the best part.
check out "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon". It's like two movies in one, it's a slasher and a mockumentary, very original. Btw my family and I agree "Urban Legend " is one of the great slasher movies, we love it, think it is very underrated.

I love the Dr. Loomis shirt! Where can I get one?
Alien (the first movie) was directed by Ridley Scott. But Aliens (the sequel) was directed by James Cameron. Thanks for watching :)
I wish they would start slasher films again. I mean there are a few like hush but we need more slasher franchises. I just subscribed.
Good list just not sure I agree with the Fog as a slasher but still a great movie though and a great list.
Good picks there. Cool channel. I'll give you a sub right away.
Check out the Scream films if you not seen them already. Hallaween was the top slasher film of the 80's and Scream was the top slasher films of the 90's. what is the movie that involved yellow jacket boy that kills
I don´t agree with The Fog tough
Scream
What? no mention of Scream, or I know what you did last summer? Even the latter, I thought was way better than Valentine. To each, his own' I guess.
best slashers are from years ago, not the slashers we get today

Fog??? Wtf?
I was thinking the same thing. The fog only had a great themesong Thats it.
Some good flicks. Friday the 13th and nightmare on elm street should have ranked higher. Midnight meat train is also a classic

Is it bad I hate the Halloween series
Yes
Not at all
Not at all

Hey man do you know the name of film in which the ghost came out of film reel and kill everyone in the cinema hall
Happy birthday to me is from 1981 I believe :P
No Friday the 13th? Really?
Great list! I love My Bloody Valentine. It's like "The Deer Hunter" of slasher films :)
Where did you get that shirt?
80 s slashers were the best.
Agreed
