Great promo man! Maybe a little too much focus on Conor, but aside from that, great job! Also I see some of the shots I used in mine in this aha, that's cool. TBH the Countdown stuff is one of the best things to get footage from, so many great angles and slow motion shots.
    Keep it up man!

Theufcveteran Thanks buddy! Yeah, I've been getting the too much focus on Conor thing a lot but I thought the chase was important to highlight seeing as it's such a defining chapter in Aldo's career but I understand the critique, thanks again.

No problem man. In my 212 promo, I had a similar theme going, and while I'm super happy and proud of it, if I could do it again, I would add just a little bit more Holloway in there. Aside from that though, awesome job! I'm sure you'll take the feedback and use it to make your promos even better! I know how much work went into this, so I feel like I'm able to appreciate it just that little bit more. Not saying others don't appreciate it, not at all, but when you've done stuff like this yourself, you really know what it takes and how long it takes. Just lets you respect/appreciate it just a tad more. Great stuff again!

Theufcveteran 100%. I think when you spend so long on an edit, your perspective can become a little bit clouded so I think it's important to listen to your audience, and in retrospect, I completely agree with the criticism. Constructive criticism is good, I know what I should've done, but ultimately it is what it is. All you can do is take it, and learn from it.

There is SO much truth in this. When you spend so long on a project, eventually there comes a point where you're just like "come on, I hope I can wrap this up soon." You try your best to keep the quality as high as possible, but it's easy to let it slip when you're in a hurry to finish up. The amount of feedback I received for my promo was outstanding, and was really key in helping me see the direction I was taking it in.
I say that, I mean it more like it was awesome to see it through the eyes of another. To see it through another perspective. For me, in any field, whether it be a spot of writing, or promos like these, I find it hard to see it through the eyes of someone else, which I think is key sometimes. Up to now I've done everything so it satisfies me, and I still do, but now I'm adding another layer to it. There will be times where I just take a moment and think about how viewers will perceive the video, and I may change one or two things if it makes sense to me.
Ultimately, if it gets people hyped and I'm happy with it and I know I've done everything I can to make it the best I can, then I'm happy.

As theufcveteran said there are little too much focus on conor but seriously man, it's very rare nowadays to see an editer who can bring this atmosphere to a video. I've found someone like me who tries to bring passion to his videos. It's beautiful to watch man, just keep up this magnificent work, you've something inside you that you must explore. Great work once again.

Irvin Nicollier That means a lot man, thank you. I made a poor judgment call re: dedicating too much time to Conor but I really appreciate your words.

Wow! I just checked out your Roger Federer tribute, and while I'm really not a tennis fan, that was really really good! Being someone who has made a couple of promos/edits often I can really feel the passion that you put into this video. Music choice was spot on, great cuts and shots, everything. My man. That was so good. You deserved all those views and more!
