Awesome! Thanks for listening to the classic from 1985! Dead Man's Party is another classic from them. It's from the movie Weird Science where two teens create the ultimate woman. You both need to watch the music video for this; it will make a lot of sense. Merry Christmas to you both!
Wasn’t Dead Man’s Party in, Back To School, with Rodney Dangerfield? Anyway, great song.👍 They need to see and hear these songs in the context of the movies they appear in. 👌

Y'all need to watch the Official Music Videos for a lot of these songs, because there's a lot of visual clues of what the song is about in most of the time. And on that note, where the Hell did you get Cooking out of this song? It's about doing crazy Science experiments. And in this case it was about creating a "perfect woman" from a computer program. The film was released in 1985 and was probably way ahead for its time. It starred Michael Anthony Hall as one of the goofy teenagers. The late Bill Paxton as his friend's older brother who bullied them. And the guy from Max Max 2: The Road Warrior with the Mohawk on the motorcycle. He reprised his Mad Max role for this film as a gag. Max Max stuff was strong pop culture back then as Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome was released that very same year, 1985.

Great reaction! Danny Elfman is truly talented and Ongo Boingo really does capture 80s sound, as Lex says.
Another 80s band you should listen to is The The, try the song Infected. Or their cover of Hank Williams' Honky Tonkin'. Both are great.
Also check out " The Little Things" from the movie Wanted.
The meaning is pretty straightforward, imagine it from the perspective of a mad scientist doing mad scientist shit.
If you like this kind of 80s bass driven groove, you gotta check out some Duran Duran.
You DEFINITELY need to watch the film, it's ICONIC 80's. The music video for this song is amazing too :D
Woohoo, blast from the past! Glad you enjoyed it.
You should check out his song/video HAPPY. It's really strange
From the movie Weird Science, which has nothing to do with food.
Weird Science is one of my favourite films. You guys should react to movies. I've see weird science so many times. Kelly Lebrock was my teenage obsession.
BRAD GOT A HAIR-CUT! LOOKIN' GOOD!
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!!!
This is from the 80s movie "Weird Science." Two teenagers make a living "Dream Girl" from their home.
He's creating LIFE!!! For those not familiar with the movie, it's very much a Frankenstein story.
Love your site. Weird Science was a movie released in 1985 about two teenage boys(nerds) who want girlfriends. They spend the night and end up making a beautiful woman who takes them out of their shell and teaches them how to party and enjoy, in the end they both end up with the girls they liked all along. The song was written for this John Hughs movie. These young teens made there own Frankenstein by attaching a Barbie doll to their computer. Super funny.
Weird Science is a movie about two teens creating the "perfect woman" in a computer program that comes to life. That's what the song is referring to.
