It's just so disheartening to hear this. My daughter is 29 and had always been the big girl like the women on her daddy side. I, her daddy, aunties, grandmas, uncles, etc. made it a point to always let her know she is loved and beautiful just the way she is. Unfortunately, society, college and social media unraveled alot of that but somewhere deep inside helped her learn she is exactly what we said and showed her to be. She is now a very confident black woman who knows her worth and has standards. My wish is this kind of dialog continues with our young women. My daughter absolutely loves Jasmine and turned me on to her and her music. Great job young lady. As a momma, I'm so proud of this body of work you have put forth into the world that will go down in history as one of the best albums in time. You are my daughter's version of MJB who was my inspiration. You are AWESOME 👏🏾👏🏾.
College didn't unravel anything. It exposed the lies you and your family tried to tell and place on her. She learned a lot being on her own.

A lot of people lose themselves in a relationship. Currently going through it now. I gained so much weight from being depressed and stress eating. I just sit and look at old pictures and wonder where tf I went wrong.

Girl me too. I just got out of a marriage and I completely lost myself to him and the kids. I put myself on the back burner for so long. I forgot about doing what made me happy. I am slowly piecing myself back together. It's taking some time but I am getting there.

I've been going through the same thing. It's changed me so much. I also look back at old photos and see how happy I was, I ask myself now why did I let this person into my life and why did I let this happen.

I literally have one eye no nose and one ear and I am beautiful no matter what if he cheats he ain’t it don’t ever question yourself this man tried to do me wrong and I smiled when he told me because having a relationship with yourself and god is more important god told me he wasn’t my husband listened point is not everyone is for you and your are for you so NEVER let others judgements cloud your perception or decision making. I took psychology and if you look in the mirror for seven minutes or longer you will begin to see your reflection distorted on top of that mirrors have chemicals except for the true mirror.
