What's actually concerning me, is whether or not the secret theater will be adapted. It was cut with the subsistence version and HD ports, and I'm hella sure everyone who knows about it doesn't want it to be forgotten. And time-travelling raiden should become a reoccuring joke in this franchise, seriously.
I think peace walker was the first to change weapons in real time for the series. I’m hyped for the remake the next game. I wish they could reimagine/make would be metal gear 1987 this way they can go crazy with ideas and because it was an NES type game everything would essentially be brand new
I dont think they need an open world, but i would think areas like GZ in a linear fashion would do justice to the remake instead of an exact copy with the same walking paths. I want Snake Eater with a new twist.
they said that they will not make it as one map or even some maps, they are going to stick with original designs ( which your pc has to load everyt map before you enter it ) in order to be "faithfull " to original game which is a lots of crap, in reality unreal engine games are hard to optimise or they just dont optimise their games at all ( metal gear solid v was a optimisation masterpiece that worked 60 fps at xbox one and ps4 , its engines had issues though), small areas and corridors helps alot with fps less to render etc.
Still wouldn't work for MGS3. What GZ and MGSV fans fail to understand is how the OG games work. How are Alerts gonna work? They gonna chase you through 2-3 zones? Guards also wake up on their own, so that guard 2-4 zones back on European Extreme is gonna blow your run. What about saving? You gonna load back in exactly where you saved? Or the last door you exited 3-4 zones back? Faithful adaptation is the only right way to remake OG MGS games.
@@SPECREYok so what, its a remake why would they change it, its already good and theres no need to fuck with it. Although i think there should be an option that has different guard patterns depending on if you select i like mgs2 ect when you start a game
@@starzz7221 People are dumb and they think every Remake needs to be like FF7 or Resident Evil 2. They need to wake up and learn what a Remake is. The Loading screens are not even loading they mostly just show the area how it's called and it helps you because map doesn't exist in this game.
I kinda hope if you pick you like MgsV i kinda want it to give ya the ground zeros sneaking suit or maybe give you a wolf dog,or have skull face in the background lurking behind the scenes in each cutscene, or if you pick you like Mgs4 you could get a big boss corps mask to make enemies afraid of you or something!
If PO and PW get remakes, I REALLY hope that means updated cutscenes. The graphic novel motion comic style, unique as it was, it was a bit of a turn of for me. PO also lacked voice acting in many areas, probably because of hardware limitations, so that would be a very welcome change. Canon or not, PO deserves a remake. Hopefully we also get the OG Metal Gear games. Recently watched a fan-made anime style series that went over the events of MG1. My only concern with that is casting, since if we do get it, David Hayter will be much older than when he was originally cast, and I doubt he'd consent to AI dubs.
15:07 One previewerer said that if you pick that you liked Peacer Walker you get a banana print suit that makes all food taste good. If you pick MGS2 you get Raiden mask just like in original but also get a suit that keeps your suppressor from wearing out while it's equipped. Dont know what other choices do but it will probably be similiar type of bonuses.
The camo suit that prevents your suppressor depleted is coming from I like MGS3 plus when the Subsistence game came out, if you preorder that game iirc. You also get new facepaint and new camo that gives you infinite grip, infinite O2 and many more. I just replayed and finished my second-third Playthrough of MGS3 two weeks ago and I chose that option because it's definitely the most camo I used after the camo that prevents your battery's item from depleting.
@@tikimoraz Probably give you the Chicken Hat that helps with enemies laughing at you when they see you so you don't get any alerts and complete the game easily.
If they allowed for manual control schemes and if they do a quick menu for food and cure, I'd have it like this: Select/Left Touchpad - quick radio L1 - brings up a food quick list like the quick camo list does D-pad Up - camo D-pad Down - cure D-pad Right - weapons (hold Square to open backpack if you wanna take a weapon out of it that isn't on you currently, then let go) D-pad Left - items (ditto for the backpack) So if you hold D-pad Down or maybe just tap it, not sure what feels better, a wheel menu opens up with Items (pills and stuff), and you press R1 to go to Surgery (cigar, suture kits, etc.) and L1 to go back to Items if you wish, and you can select whatever you want fast with R3 and/or X (sorta like what they are doing now with quick radio)
I can't see them not trying to 2024 release if they could help it. 20th Anniversary is in November, and it just seems too early to have preorders and preorder bonuses set up and not be this year. "Later this year" can totally mean September and October announcement, but hey, maybe I am being a bit hopeful, but who knows.
October 7 is the release of Silent Hill 2 remake. If Konami releases Delta this year it will completely overshadow Silent Hill and that's a fiscal disaster for them. Remember how Titanfall2 didn't sell well releasing 3 weeks after Battlefield1.
@@Richdiculous0451v those are 2 multiplayer games though, by the time people played and are done with silent hill 2, mgs delta would be out by mid november.
I think pressing X puts you into crouch walking, and roll diving is when you press triangle. And I guess because of the fluidity of Snake's movement, you don't need to stalk with the D pad, and the camouflage, food & cure features will be used for that instead.
The quick menu is definitely a quality of life upgrade Snake Eater is my favorite of the series with MGS1 being almost on par and having to stop playing the game to listen to codec calls was good for it's time but I wouldn't mind being able to progress through areas with the less important codecs then have some with important information the classic style then for the camo menu it would be interesting to do it in real time to try and match your serounding everything so far sounds amazing this is coming from a OG Metal Gear fan
The only thing that concerns me is how the guards and bosses AI are responding to Snake's new movements, like, seriously, all of these new mechanics are only in favor of Snake, it'll make the game way too easy and without ANY challenge. That's one hell of a problem for what's supposed to be a STEALTH game, where the territory is so threatning that you're forced to hide and avoid conflict. I also REALLY hope that the real time menu applies not only for camos, BUT ESPECIALLY for the cure system, with animations as well, putting a good brake on the pace since they have no intention of improving the level design. Just imagine, this will make the experience much more immersive and tense, since you would need to get out of an alert phase to perform such actions. At last, they should do a remake version of Portable Ops as DLC for Delta, focusing only on the campaign without that horrible recruit system, and of course, making the necessary changes for the lore, and actually make it canon this time. I say this because PO's story is not long, seriously, it has literally 2 hours of cutscenes + codec calls, they could perfectly bring this as DLC for the future.
Would've loved to have one starring the Boss, where she had face and fight the sorrow at the end of the game since there was a conversation about how the boss had to pick him off. Also a 3d remake of MG 1 and mg2 solid snake in the style of mgs3 4 or 5 gameplay and graphics wise
Im excited for the remake, but given that it's a 1:1 recreation, im not in a hurry to pick it up and play it. Im hoping we hear more about the master collection volume 2.
If previews are happening now, and it's a next year title, I can see it being a early Q1 title. Possibly the first major release of 2025, Jan/early Feb?
To be fair SEGA released Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Persona 3: Reload precisely one week apart earlier this year and both games sold really well.

when playing the Master Collection, in settings on PS4/5 and Any Xbox One or newer, using custom button assignments to make the controls feel the best they ever have in the original, change the physical buttons to the following inputs (Physical button = New Input) L2/LT= R1/RB . R2/RT= Square/X . LB=LT . RB=RT . Square/X=Triangle/Y .
