I love the 4 precious stones quest, I have so many gosh darn Prismatic Shards that I don’t have any use for. Granted, I’ve completed 100% perfection so I get one everyday for free.
I must ask, can you dupe the 100% perfection statue by being in co-op and you both hitting it with a pickaxe at the same time? Just curious if they fixed it for that particular statue. I do know they did it for hoppers.
@@Jociaoftrades The regular "perfection" in singleplayer so im guessing you can also do it with that one
If you sell qi beans/fruits to Pierre the day before the challenge ends the day after you can buy the qi fruit/bean back and you can grow it without a time limit, and then when the quest come up again you can ship the fruit you have grown in this time (sorry for the bad English)

For the 100K of cooked items quest, I like to prepare by making sure I have 250 each of purple cabbage and radishes. They can be combined into 250 Red Plates which sell for exactly 100K gold.
i recently just found out you could redo qi quests, and these were very useful. thanks for the tips!
edit: also for Qi's Cuisine if you have flour sugar and eggs laying around you can make 500 chocolate cakes that sell exactly for 100,000 gold as well
also for the qi fruit quest, if you crack a geode with 5 beans you should throw that same type in a geode crusher to get 5 more(you get the same item from a geode crusher as you do from Clint as long as you don't crack another geode, and only works once). i like to do it early game for basalt(lava eel ponds), iridium and coal if its a stack of 5-10.

I gotta say, your Stardew Videos are my favorite on all of youtube. It brings a smile to my face everytime I watch one.
Did you know? You can actually farm Qi Gems and Galaxy Souls in the Dangerous Mines just from killing monsters? It's very rare but if you use the burglar ring and a monster musk, the mobs get so thick in the spider forest area that you can AoE with your hammer and slaughter so many mobs that you can get around 5-10 Qi Gems per day with this method, no quest required. As a bonus you will also find tons of straight up metal bars and more void essences than you'll ever know what to do with along side a great deal of Coal. The Galaxy souls are very rare but if it's a lucky day I always seem to get at least 1, sometimes even 2.

@mGaud I don't know if you'll see this, but you can prepare for the purple items in Qi's prismatic grange by using pomegranates. The goal of the strategy is to unlock the greenhouse and Ginger Island and have pomegranate trees producing fruit every day. You can use any quality of pomegranate for purple items in the Prismatic Grange request. I normally go with 7 pomegranate trees in my greenhouse and only sell the fruit in the case i need emergency funds. It also gives a source of loved gifts for Elliott. Hope this helps!

If you have split screen open when you complete a quest, you get twice the rewards.
If you don't have money to buy cofee, just get a lucky ring and java ring and farm it in the regular mined floor 40 because dust sprites often spawn there

I like growing the Qi fruit challenge in the winter, because they grow in every season, even winter and my plots and sprinklers are already set.

For qi fruit on the last day you can sell any extra to Pierre and buy back 5 the next day. then plant them at your leisure to have 500 before the next time you take the quest.

Spaghetti from Gus's is also a red item, and 60g cheaper per item, so buying 100 spaghetti instead of cherry bombs for the Prismatic Grange quest will save you 6000g.
Do you have to have all walnuts ? For this to work I only need 13 more tried the recount on PS4 and it don't work at all

Both Purple and Red are actually VERY easy.
Red: Bait (made from Bug Meat)
Purple: Bug Meat.
Just farm the bugs on floors 10-25 of the Mine or hit up the Sewer while you're farming for Fiber.
If anything, Blue is probably the most difficult/expensive and requires either investing valuable fruit (Blueberries, Ancient Fruit, etc.) or Iridium ore.
The cheapest solution I've found is to simply set aside Blackberries when they're in season, or save up "Broken Glasses" and "CDs" from fishing/dumpster diving.

Does the recount nuts work before you have access to mr qi? Also Does it work on all platforms?

Don't think it's working before that, I have a new game (started it a week ago) I have ginger island unlocked and got about 60 golden walnuts so far (so not enough for the room) and if I type the recount it doesn't do anything.
Recount nuts will only refund any nuts you have sold for qi gems, as the game doesn’t properly track them as being spent.

I never do those "bringing items to Qi", why should i waste items that can be sold for gold or be used for other tasks? And what does he need those things for?
Or you can grow collect and accumulate Mango Coconut Taro Root Pineapple Hot Pepper and Rice then make Mango Sticky Rice Poi and Tropical Curry complete the Cuisine quest in 1-2 days collect 150,000+ gold profit without spending anything and feel like super chef :))))) This BY FAR is my favorite quest. Seeds for most of these are free also which is great! ♥
OKAY!!! SO FOR BLUE this is super dumb Ik but I got the qi fruit quest and got sidetracked and had a shit ton of qi seeds on the day before it ended and used those for blue 😭

I recently read the patch notes from 1.6 and apparently you can lose the golden scythe from dying in the mines, without it showing up in the lost and found. And if you didn't buy it back, it seems like it would be gone for good. I suspect he may make it so you get a new one when the update comes

You can even get a any food unlimited in day 1 by checking trash bin (if you are at lucky seed I recommend also to use stardew predictor to check the garbage can in day 1 it make take a while... Soon.)

You have until the end of the current season. So if you get the quest on the first day of the season, you will have 28 days. If you get this quest later on during a season you will have less time. So you only want to do this quest if it is offered on day 1 of a season.

ConcernedApe actually refuses to pronounce the name ever because it's up to us to decide how we want to pronounce it. So there isn't really a correct way to pronounce it. Is it a logical guess that it's pronounced the same as the word qi in the real world? Yes. But it is still just a guess.
