    I saved me some money and built one myself from a few things I had lying around. Works just as well but this was a good idea. Thanks!

    Never too fancy to make a safe cut! I used to think this "fancy stuff"was not needed, but we are talking about safety and saving our body.

    The Sterling Rope Ultimate Positioning Lanyard is an incredibly versatile tool for arborists! It provides comfortable and stable positioning for complex tasks, easily adjusts to different tree diameters and working positions, and creates multiple anchor points for extra stability and security. It also acts as a temporary support if your primary climbing line needs adjustment and is ideal for precise pruning, trimming, or installing cabling and bracing systems. Additionally, it assists in navigating dense or awkward tree structures safely, can secure tools or equipment to prevent them from falling, and is useful in rescue scenarios to secure or lower an injured climber safely. Highly recommend this lanyard for its reliability and multifunctionality. Keep climbing, keep growing, and keep shining bright, my friends! 🌳✨

    That is all well and good but it was so fast I could not understand the system. I have noticed a lot of viedos are so fast or covered up by the operators hand one cannot see what is going on.

    $250 is a small price to pay for not dying. I have MONSTER Willow on my property and can't get a cherry picker back in there.

    • @dungeonmaster6292
      @dungeonmaster6292 3 роки тому +3

      $250 doesn't include the harness, climbing rope, friction saver, assorted caribeaners for climbing system, knowledge of how to use it all.

    Way to fancy I guess I'm just a young guy with old school techniques and only use the fancy stuff when the job calls for it.

      Go on treestuff or any other site and just buy the exact rope you want by the foot, then use your own stuff. I do the same. I find myself changing them up a lot to fit the job I'm doing that day.

    Nice buck strap but way to much going to and not realistic for speed. I have that buck strap but only have a microcender and the aluminum snap and the end with a carabiner clipped to my saddle.

    • @matthewstone8466
      @matthewstone8466 5 років тому +2

      Yea, an extra prussic and rope snap are probably way too much to deal with for most people. It would probably slow you down so much, you may even survive a few years

    • @dungeonmaster6292
      @dungeonmaster6292 3 роки тому +1

      I never understood the push for speed. The vast majority of the work being done can afford the time it takes. You're not paid by the branch.
