JP can you do a video on why you believe it might be better to use a chase ( CSR)or similar flexible point card to Marriott cards at Marriott hotels. Stan the credit frog mentioned it on his recent live. Would like to understand why that might be better…you are much more knowledgeable on this so I am sure it’s the right move but on the surface I don’t understand why. The Marriott cards earn so few points at their own properties that it makes more sense to use a card with flexible points that earns 3x or greater because that is better. Even though the Marriott cards earn 6x, their points have so little value that this is the lowest earnings for almost all hotel cards. You still will earn Marriott points for money spent at the hotel as a member or because of your level of status, so this wouldn't prevent you from still earning points with Marriott, but you could also earn stronger points as well. If you needed to spend $10,000 at a Marriott, most people would prefer to earn 30,000 UR points with their CSR over 60,000 Marriott points with a Marriott card
For now; pretty sustainable. Wells Fargo picks up the ACH fees on Rent through the ACH accounts, Wells pays them $200 per approved Credit Card (with 1 million in circulation they say), they pick up a chunk of the non-Bilt Rent credit card charges through their portal, and they get commission fees for the Travel Portal. This is all before the commissions they’ll get from ExP for House Closing (and points accumulations thereof) and then there’s going to be Mortgages and Mortgage Origination…
It is one of the best cards available. The only reason it doesn't get as much love is because Wells Fargo issues it. If it were a Chase or an Amex card, it would be the #1 talked about.
The WF Autograph is a super solid card. I have several WF cards and am happy to take their money. Just never put your money in WF as a bank. If you’re going to do business with WF, best make sure it is a one-way relationship.
I want the attune card but I'm in the garden right now for at least another 10 months. I have the Bilt card and I like it so far. I'm scared bilt and wells fargo will be ending their partnership one day and not sure what will happen with the card then

@@L-Man-Gaming Yep, got it. My reasoning above and your video is why I think by far the best (FOR MOST PEOPLE) card ecosystem for long term traveling with heavy international travel is the Bank of America with a share from US Bank (has lots of flaws to be single use ecosystem).
A lot of people like the idea of aspirational travel, but you do need to put in the work and have many things come together to make it a reality. Outside of welcome offers, cash back is best for most people.

The WF Autograph legit is perfect for a majority of regular people.
The AAA Travel Advantage is a close second, just no transfer partners.
Both of those are great. It surprises me how few people have the Autograph card.
