man!!! stop laughing......be serious.....your laugh is annoying PS: we wait for the real Cooper JCW with 231 HP...it has one 10 cm exhaust pipe in the middle
You are more than welcome to find another MINI Cooper channel where the host doesn’t laugh. I laugh at things I find funny or enjoy. I will not allow someone to put me down for laughing in a world where we could use more laughter and fun. This is my channel. I laugh when I want to. It doesn’t matter if you don’t find the moment humorous. I did. I recorded it. I chose to share that moment with the audience. You’re welcome to skip over it. Seems everyone is trying to put people down for laughing lately. I had a friend who laughs in his videos and is getting the same comments you’re saying. I wonder if you’ve commented on his videos too. Offense taken. Move along.
No different than the M Sport package. This car actually gets bigger brakes, paddle shifters, and a boost mode which is more than just a cosmetics package like my 2017 Cooper S had. I had to add the tuning kit to make it close to a JCW.
I have the F66 cooper C with the jcw trim and it's just perfect in all fields. Faster than me R53 and better than the F56. The rear lights are awesome and it fits perfect with he new design lines. The gearbox is fast, the breaks perfect and the suspension even with the 18" wheels is what you want in a MINI ( sure not for track ) if it is your daily ride. I agree with your presentation and thank you. I can't get enough with this MINI ❤
Great review. I just saw one of these at my local dealership. Along with what you described, the Dynamic Damper Control is also part of the JCW style package. This makes it an even more attractive option!
Looks like it is Milltek at the moment but they’re out of stock in the UK. I’ve heard Borla is working on one as well and my local dealership is talking about doing a new F66 JCW exhaust on one of the Cooper S models since the rear diffusers are interchangeable
MINI is a brand not a car. If you want tiny, and no safety features, get an Austin, Morris, or Rover Mini. (Notice the lower case as this one is a model.)
As a Clubman owner I got super excited when I saw that the four door was coming in a JCW trim....then I was disappointed when I saw that it wasn't getting the higher output engine.
Exactly; no increase in HP and torque; too much dough for not enough go. We are in a 2024 CooperS 4 Dr hardtop lease that is over in 17 months and would gladly go for a JCW iteration of our car but apparently they want to keep it exclusive to the 2 dr version; there is so much more room in the 4 dr; no way we are downsizing for a go fast 2 dr JCW. Their loss plus we are not going for a Countryman to get the JCW iteration either. This is equivalent to getting the Elantra N or the Elantra N Line. The later is IMHO a poser car; end of rant.
The Elantra N Line, a crappy car, doesn’t get bigger brakes, paddle shifters, or a boost mode which does in fact increase hp and torque for a brief period of time.
A further note, the average driver when they’re on the road in the JCW clubman, use maybe 150 horsepower at the max in that car. I checked. To use all 301, you’d need to be going over 140 miles per hour.
@@TheMINIacI appreciate the Mini because the torque is available early on; not top end; not so much at all interested in the HP as in the torque. Also my analogy of N vs N-Line was to point out the latter is a trim pkg. Admittedly here there are paddles, which they never should have deleted in the first place; absence of paddles borders on almost a deal breaker so much do we use them in Sport mode; larger brakes. What is the MSRP for the package please? Thanks
Well, if we could tune these, we have all the stuff to get it to that point. Someone is going to figure out how to I’m sure and then you could have essentially a 4-door JCW. This is pretty darn close. And we aren’t talking a Cooper S with 189 hp anymore. This is 201 horsepower. A nice bump up from the older cars.

I will not stop laughing.
I don’t have to be serious.
You can’t make me be serious.
I’m sure your laugh is annoying.
I understand that, but you dont have to laugh to everything you say.....no offence

Offense taken. Move along.
I just picked up my '25 F65 S with JCW trim from MINI of Wichita this past weekend and I LOVE it (also have an r56 S with jcw kit)!
But do you wear shirts AND a sweater at the same time??
Beautiful, cute car. 👌🔥
I wish they wouldn’t use the JCW name on standard performance cars, just call it sport kit. Using JCW everywhere devalues the name.
GP is special, JCW is the standard performance upgrade.

Unfortunately BMW bought the name to slap it on everything.
First generations though, you can have a JCW without the “aero kit”.

Sounds like a great car

Yep. But I think they look better lower to the ground. If I bought one I would definitely do Coilovers. It would just make it look even better.
I just got a jcw trim 4 door cooper . What company makes the aftermarket exhaust for it?

They are huge now being a mini name

@TheMINIac I have the 1st gen supercharged mini and the 1st gen is a much like the original mini

Weirdly, it does have a slightly higher output for about 10 seconds in boost mode.

I like it but why not just give it the JCW engine to go along with it. That would make it even better.

For 40k, it's a bit much. The only thing you are getting extra is a body kit and bigger brakes.
And interior, paddle shifters, and boost mode.
Hit us with the sticker price!!!
$40,900.
not as big of brakes as the f56 jcw
Same size brake rotors as the F66 JCW coming out soon. But I think the new JCW will have bigger calipers.
