Well darn it, but those aliens have shown up on Earth, and the military is doing it's best to contain them, but they can't protect everyone, and soon you're going to have to fend for yourself. Could you be quiet enough and survive "A Quiet Place", or are those aliens bound to hear you opening a bag of survival snacks?

@@kid_toucher The thing is, we don't know what their armor is made of first of all so we don't know what will effect that, and we also don't know their biology so we also cannot predict what would work on them such as a biological agent. What we do know, is physics, and what physics makes abundantly clear is that with every reaction there is an equal and opposite reaction. In short, imagine smashing your head. A concussion or brain bleed is caused by your brain hitting the hard surface of your skull, now imagine that soft little alien inside of it's "armor" being completely smashed up against it. BOOM! Liquid alien!

I love the A-10 design! It’s actually super fascinating. I was told by my dad who work for the AF as a mechanic that the can loose wings and still fly because of the design (I’m not 100% sure if that’s fact) which is incredibly amazing.
If you can scream next to a waterfall, they just play some death metal through loudspeakers. Then you can take your time and figure out how to put holes in the alien.

Funfact: nearly every bullet besides the subsonic ammunition is supersonic literally meaning the bullets would make the aliens open their cover and then the bullets would hit
I think you're confusing supersonic with ultrasound. When exposed to high frequency sounds, the aliens open their armor plates. But if you shoot them when a supersonic bullet, literally by definition, the bullet will hit them before the sound of the gunshot does. The aliens get shot before they're able to even hear the gun go off. Meaning the bullet will hit armor plating. Doesn't matter though, they'll be dead anyway 🤷♂️

i always thought the movie was dumb.
the militairy would have discovered that they hunt by sound almost immediately, then they would have put a giant loudspeaker in the middle of the desert or soemthing and just drop a nuke on all of them.
I've not seen the movie but that was my take. Just make a big mine field and park a car in the middle playing Baby Got Back on a set of 15's.

I want to point out that in the movie, the creature’s armour wasn’t “Bulletproof” it was nigh indestructible from all damage. Also you didn’t mention that they only attack things that make sound until they stop making sound other than flowing water which can’t be stopped from making sounds. AND they suffer from extreme pain from super high pitched sounds, so just get something like the hearing aid in the movies and any firearm
actually, no,the high pitched sound was just telling us that something was going on. it was electromagnetic waves from the type of hearing aid. that's why the lights would flicker. the hearing aid used in the movie doesn't produce sound. it's quite interesting, you should do the research on it!

That said, "indestructible" only works if their flesh is. It isn't. The movie showed this to us by having the protagonists simply shoot the aliens while their face was open. Which means the video's point - shock to your body that goes through hard armor - still applies. This is why cars have crumple zones instead of being built of 100% durable frames - if they are, YOU are soaking up the impact of a crash. Since the armor is directly connected to their bodies, they have zero cushioning from the force and will be liquefied underneath by explosive weapons.
Also they are clearly sensitive to audible sounds, otherwise they can't hear you from a long distance. Which means that loud audible noise should absolutely disorient them, especially from up close.

The Death Angels are very fast and insanely powerful. Sure yes, you are right they could be dispathced easily with sound which is what we see in the movie. But, we don't know if they destroyed the entire world. We see that John only saw 3 of the monsters in the country, so they may have never left the state or still in the US where they remain, while all the others died out
If this was true, the other areas would go into the small area here and do rescue missions. We don't see that happening.

As a deaf guy and student at Gallaudet University (The only deaf university in the world), I just wanna say thanks for captioning your video's. Half of youtube is completely unwatchable, but i can always come back to your channel!
As am introvert I see this as an absolute win
I know John Krasinski has said that their armor somehow protects against everything up to missiles, which is obviously ridiculous for about three reasons I can just immediately think of from a physiological point of view.
But the movie could work well, despite it. Numbers, dispersion of forces, and a focus on the cities could ensure that the countryside is still a terrifying place to be where the US military is not yet able to attend to for such a massive area of land compared to only a third of a billion of population pre-Death Angel invasion.
This sounds good (when we take out the fact that they survived that “impossible” crash landing) 😂😂😂

After I watched the movie, I immediately realized that the writers knew nothing of our planet's ability to stop them from being as dangerous and widespread as they were in that movie. I assumed it was a really bad novel-to-movie translation... as in a *REALLY* bad translation... missing key issues.

Fisrt to like the info
As a long time hunter and firearm enthusiast, their size does match the quality of their armor. Any major fielded aircraft or drone would wipe them out quickly. And judging by their armor any standard AP (armor penetrating) round would make them into swiss cheese.

i literally just watched this movie like 10 minutes ago, and at the end the mum shot the alien and killed him, wdym they resist? She literally killed him with a shotgun, the problem was the sound attracted many more, so they use the radio waves to ruin their listening.
It was microphone feedback. They are vulnerable to high frequency sound

a-10s are my personal favorite. they are air to ground jets meant to destroy enemy tanks. the even have a thermal thing to see heat so nothing can really survive an a-10
