Living on a small island (PEI, Canada) my trip around the NC500 was an eye-opener; literally, it was challenging to close my eyes. No camera, video-clip or travel-doc can do the trip justice. Midges and tourists aside, it’s a must for anyone who can grab the opportunity. My hope is I live long enough to return - absolutely brilliant. Thanks for resurrecting the memories . . .
Great video, good to see you guys out on the road doing a trip again. I had a V4S and upgraded to the Rally, absolutely love it, best bike I've ever had.
Absolutely brilliant guys. Really enjoyed the banter. As a multistrada owner thought the beach excursion hilarious. Brought back memories of being stuck off road this summer in a vineyard outside Sancerre 😂!
best bike channel by far you guys are killing it,Me and my mates are planning the nc500 next year after a rough year health wise it was all I could think about in my hospital bed you guys are an inspiration much love from scotland.
@30:33 "I really wanna go offroading". Next BBB season grab yourselves some old adv/big trailies like a Transalp or Dr650 maybe and head off to the Stella Alpine event in the Italian Alpa, following parts of the TET along the way. Do it!
It’s videos like these that get me out to explore other parts of the world. Here’s another bucket list to add including Iceland. New Zealand was epic and Alaska.
Did part of the NC500 in late September this year on my BMW K1300GT. It was amazing. One of the highlights was from Ullapool over the Kylesku Bridge and back to Lairg. Cant wait for the rest of the series. As always, brilliant. 👍 My pic is me on Cullen Beach.
44Teeth videos always have that certain flavour and taste that no other video makers can give. With that Top Gear faffery vibe its just pure entertainment and hilarious. If you find other people who enjoy the same content. Those are bro's or gal's for life. also 25:19
Great episode gents! Looking forward to the next installment, watching you guys masticating some warm sausage al fresco is really getting my juices flowing, lovely.
Good laugh as ever and really well shot. Props to the cameraman and editor. I live in Northumberland so the NC500 is my go to driving trip when I can’t get away to Europe. It is otherworldly up there. Anyway well done lads. I have the finale to watch on tonight’s nightshift. 👍🏻
Great video and a great route - we did it a few years ago. Adventure bikes not needed, we did it in a 911 (wfe has health issues and can't pillionn any more). Doing on my SM would be ideal, apart from the fuel range, comfort, luggage issue, getting it there... 35:57 - keep both hands on the bars when there's a ditherer at the junction. Looking forward to doing it again.
Another classic road trip 😅 you did it the right way , first time I went clockwise, 2nd time East to West and the scenery doesn't catch your eye as well I thought . By the way that island is Gruinand island , where they tested Anthrax ..Nice
That hotel you stopped in next to the petrol station, brought back memory’s of me buying some wd40 to try and sort out my mates power on button on his super duke 🤣 good times and ktm life 🤷🏻♂️
Glad you encountered midgies, I live in the west coast and they are an absolute pain in the arse, I done a skye trip this year and left early morning, had to stop and clear my visor every 10 minutes as it was plastered with them 😅
You guys are so right about the food prices. I was in Stockholm recently and food was cheaper there than up here. Also stayed 4 nights in a city centre hotel for £300. Just so everyone knows, you can't just go offroading wherever in Scotland, the "right to roam" doesn't extend to motorcycles.
@@FortyFourTeeth …😂 I’ve been using your video to see what I missed seeing during a trip that was low cloud, fog, sideways rain and a good 15 degrees colder than “down south”.
What would you consider a great WINTER bike. Something that is reliable in the cold. Good grip, doesn’t mind being dirty, not affected by Road grit much. Won’t kill you in the wet?
I proposed to my girlfriend at Betty Hill last week as we were touring the north coast 500. The A82 is a gorgeous road for anyone planning to travel up as featured on top gear
yep NC500 has just bumped up my list! by the way you two have an air of Father Ted when your dicking about! Very well edited, keep up the great work you two sexy smashers! x
Great episode and looks like an incredible ride. Very enjoyable. Not sure you need ADV bikes to do that trip though...unless getting stuck on a beach with a 500lb not quite dirt bike (with electronic rider "aids" fighting you all the way) is a priority! 😀
Yep, and Toni Bou can do astronomical things with a proper trials bike. For the rest of us mere mortals the option is throwing a heavy and crazy expensive ADV bike into the rocks! @FITNESSOVER45
I'm heading up to the NC500 for 10 days or so early next year (March-April sometime) and thought this would be a great intro for research. I'm enjoying the videos but I have to ask... Why do you both seem to be standing on the bikes so frequently? Are they really that uncomfortable?
It is nice to see the lardies getting some physical exercise before they become nonambulatory, or their respective gravitational pulls disallow them from ever separating from one another. Who forgot that audio is also part of movie making??? Hope the food was as good as it looked(:
i done 1 weekend over there on a fireblade and ended up being 1100 miles. loved it that much i bought a africa twin and done it again on May past. the best ever

Rode NB coast, PEI and a small slice of NS myself this summer - quite the treat!
Your episodes really cheer me up during a horrible few days in my life ❤
This series is inspiring a trip, no question. It's on my list. Excellent stuff!
I’ve learnt so much about Scotland watching these vids. Great stuff 🏴
So happy to have found this channel! Just came back from a ten day road trip and now I want to do another 😢
Amazing local history lessons. A pure joy to watch. I hope I get a chance to visit Phil's castle one day!
Fantastic stuff Niges, awesome cinematography 👏🏻👏🏻
Fascinating to learn just how involved celebrities from our youths have been in the very fabric of the route. Thanks for sharing!

The laughter on the beach escapade was priceless. The fun you can have with "stupid ideas are the best ones", you need that quote on a 44T shirt.
Some salutary lessons in life there, Chrissie sums it up @25:20, we're doing our best.
Awesome trip mates! That ducati..my my.. it's so beautiful, even with all that dad gear attached to it!

What a fantastic series
Fabulous entertainment. Best bike channel out there by a country mile!
A truly great watch! Cheers blokes.
You should head across to Stornoway and give the Western Isles a visit. Lovely scenery, great food and amazing roads for a ride.

Fantastic content from you boys as always
I always enjoy your touring videos and this one is right up there.
Amazing Scenery and the commentary by you 2 is not only informative but hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 I never knew Phil Collins owned a Castle 🏰🤣🤣🤣
More entertaining than television or streaming! Great fun! Cheers from Canada, eh.
Great vid. Love Scotland. Learning loads of interesting new facts too....
Aragorn and Gimli beached the Multistrada HA! Nice to see you boys having a laugh.
I suddenly get Taskmaster vibes with that dome in the background :)
Comedy gold. Made me guffaw quite a few times 😂
Brilliant trip with those Italian supermodels!
You blokes need to speed tour Australia’s snowy mountains, and many more of our ace scenic fast roads! See youz soon. 👍
So much fun! Just discovered this channel and love it!!
Really enjoying these videos. Got to ride it in 2024.
Another 44teeth episode never fails to entertain

If I didn't know better, I'd think you were just making a lot of these facts up as you go along.
You were lucky with the weather, did the NC500 in 2022… relentless rain. Still a glorious part of the world.
Incredibly lucky! It rained for about 30 secs on the whole trip

Great episode, do you guys think an adventure bike is a must? I was gonna do this trip with a group next year on my Diavel 1260s
Thumbs up purely for the Sturgeon reference, bravo 🎉😊
20 quid for fish and chips is a total rip off...

Sooooo many to list but an adventure bike should be the top of that list
Deuville
All depends on the budget, but I’d probably go out and buy a CB500X if it had to be newer

Absolutely loved it. Should be on everyone's bucket list
Omg....the camera head turning brought on an epi fit 😂
Fagan and Sue Perkins have definitely sold this trip to me.
Great video again 44 teeth. Is it just me that stops as soon as 'coming next' is said? I like the whole video to be a surprise.
Watch the whole lot. It helps with ad revenue 😂
