This is what real money can buy you top quality naval assets.
I hope in the near future
Philippine to aquire a scorpene long range anti air missile can fire from under water
And long range torpedo of it
But i hope navantia may sucess in the selling this of it
Scorpene is from Naval Group not Navantia. Navantia decided to build their own sub the S80, which was riddled with technical issues, ie it would not resurface so the US had to come and solve the issue. S80 is still not operational.
@@lordtemplar9274 sort of, its a bit more complicated that that, the Scorpene is a joint project between DCNS, now Naval Group, and Navantia, both companies are still involved in the export version, but both split with Navantia offering the S-80 and Naval Group the Marlin, both evolutions of the Scorpene. And yep Navantia totally stuffed the S-80, the US to the rescue again !
@@aussienscale you are correct that Scorpene originally was a joint project, but this is no longer true.
However, in 2008 DCNS (aka Naval Group) filed a court case vs Navantia. This was settled in 2010, with Scorpene being 100% under Naval Group (build, export etc...). Navantia has had nothing to do with Scorpene for the last decade.

@@lordtemplar9274Cheers for that, thought Navantia was still involved on the Indian side of things with Scorpene and parts manufacturing , I will read up on that settlement.
India is making license version in Mumbai MSL yard , I think they over capacity order now for delivery in short term :)
Nice video and very informative and very entertaining and very satisfaction more videos.
Very interesting informations, thank you 🙏
mudah-mudahan kapal selam produk Naval Group yg mau di akusisi indonesia berjalan dengan lanjar.
Scorpene vs type 214 who wins?
Mudah mudahan pak Prabowo Subianto milih kapal selam yang ini Suffren Baracuda.
this vid feels like a cutscene from red alert 2
No need for video. French are expert at leaking everything after the deal is signed.
U will find scorpene class submarine info some where on internet.
Thank you french. From India 🇮🇳
You are already forgiven you don't know différences betwen versions 🤪🤪🤪
How come the smaller coastal Scorpene never found a buyer?
@UCVf7kBLB-8vxFHbqEq4j1ow read what I wrote. The smaller coastal Scorpene.
Philippines will have this kind of submarine soon.
So good the whole deal was scrapped
Il n’était pas possible de trouver un commentateur qui parle un Anglais compréhensible SVP? Si non, il serait mieux d’en parler en Français.
Sorry guys, but Australia has got a better offer...
But what if they had just got a Nuclear Barracuda submarine......maybe that would have been better than the redesigned sub they were looking at from the French?
@@kateormrod6957 The Australian Government at the time the contract with the French for their submarine were clearly aware of that... but at the time that contract was signed, but whatever Govt of whatever political colour knew it would be political suicide to propose a nuclear submarine ... further I am not sure what the French policy would have been on this.. I do suspect that they would have been willing to "share their crown jewels" even to Australia... that is why this AUKUS deal is game changing ... however I think the current Morrison Govt are going to get hammered in the upcoming elections for it, and other issues.... we will see....
@@hypercomms2001 It seems that the idea of buying French submarines again is not totally forgotten. Australia will need a transitional submarine between the current ones and the future SSNs. But the deal will not be the same if Australia goes back to France. Wait and see.
Escorpene. Na Índia.
Isn't it the same company that paid off defense officials from developing country to close sweet deal, nice!
Haha such thing is soooo common in weapon industry, let's not even talk about the US aircraft manufacturers.
Buy SubMarine but cannot SubMerge, bcoz of LaCorruption. From Sandokan with Scorpone
Do you have any link that i can read the source?
