- Animal Well Part 2 - the journey continues! I unlock new areas, find tons of secrets, and learn a new major mechanic. I've never seen any game use this sort of mechanic before, so I'm excited to find all the consequences! Plus, it's a fun yo-yo, who doesn't love those?

The green flashes to track the entrances on each new screen is such a nice touch. Once again proving this channel has some of the best editors on UA-cam. Already beat about as much of the game that has been discovered so far, so happy to watch a playthrough.
Wait that's not in game? It really seemed like that was part of the game.
@@oguzhanyigit1326It's not in the game, yeah
it's honestly quite unnecessary
Tbh one of the few flaws I found with the game is that it was often hard to track where you ended up when entering a new screen. It was probably an intentional choice to make certain areas blend different but I would’ve preferred it was more consistent.
@@joshuafrank1246 Aren't you always just opposite from where you exited the last screen? I didn't have that issue.
This game does sound-horror incredibly well, both the ostrich and the ghost dog from the disk made my hair stand on-end.
Oh it gets even better
the slug dog is what freaked me out the most tbh. because you think you're safe in the tunnels from the previous dogs
The sound design is top notch. An interesting blend of realistic sounds with 8bit. So atmospheric.
Im pretty sure the "ghost dog" is supposed to be a cat, but im not sure. Cats in real life are often very stealthy horrifying predators, so a small mostly defenseless animal such as this little meatball would probably not understand how the cat is navigating and might assume it to be ghostly. Also the fluid movement of the ghost reminded me alot of the idea that "cats are liquid" and can seemingly move to fit almost anywhere.
The first time i saw its statue among the other animal statues i also thought it was a dog though, so its possible its a more exotic animal like the peacok and kangaroo are
@@jc_art_ Nah it’s definitely a wolf/dog but it does look very catlike, especially the way it moves
Watching Tyler go yoyo-ward instead of left into the temple of feesh gives me another level of appreciation for this game, as he accidentally discovers frisbee tech and then begins viewing everything through the lens of "Can I exploit this room with my frisbee?"
I most definitely did not discover frisbee tech anywhere near as early as he did, I had instead, and *it* was what I wound up looking at each room through the lens of.
Thank you for not spoiling the game!
I'm pretty sure I had the same experience as you, both with the game and Tyler's videos, cool to know other people are having the same experience as me
I was so addicted to sequence breaking with the frisbee, i got the reward for 16 eggs before I ever found the bubble wand.
It actually made things a lot more complicated because I had so much of the map reveled with no idea about what I had to skip.
I really enjoy the "previously" segment cause it makes it easier for people to get into a series if this is the first episode they're watching
why would somebody watch an episode of a puzzle game playthrough without seeing previous episodes??
I was completely confused on what the heck is even happening
Didn't realize it's not the first episode
@@untitledfish because youtube popping recommendation algorithm. Imagine person not subscribed to Aliensrock seeing this exact video. Even if video was part of playlist (!) - YT chain navigation is terrible.
@@mapron1 can confirm, watched this not knowing it was the second episode because youtube algorithm
@@Geckoreo Hey, I glad you come here; we have a very pleasant and friendly community. I hope you enjoy more vids!
20:32 the explosion shoving the webcam back is another contender for favorite editing moment on this channel
18:08 I love that in this game often you come up with the solution but really dont even realize it, until you spot something obscurely scenic that blends in that you'd not honestly realize is important.
The ostrich part was so good and entertaining, it felt like a Jurassic Park movie where a huge smart and deadly creature is after you and you're barely able to escape it. Thrilling and amazing.
Those close calls against an unbeatable enemy, crawling through walls and tight spaces reminds me of the SA-X
This game looks so cool. Their are so many smooth, interactable animations and the creatures are so alive, and all the colors just perfect it. The details in the environment make it feel so mystical. Also the cat from last video remind me of studio gibli.
Mostly the firecrackers
Again, leaving a comment for engagement, but not spoiling myself this game, I'll return to watch once I'm finished
Unfortunately, comments don't matter as far as UA-cam's concerned anymore. All that matters is the length of time spent watching the video. However, I will be anticipating your return, and I appreciate comments for my own sake and gathering feedback!
@@Aliensrocklet me tell you your announcement during the problem with the discretion of the certain game where the gore moments made the UA-cam managers just censored the game and age restricted the video that you record it. Let me tell you your haircut and those glasses looks spicy. Thanks for giving us content and You are extremely handsome❤😎😎😎
Same here

@@Aliensrock Wait really? Comments don't matter? That's... honestly kind of dumb. No wonder I see more hour+ videos lately, and honestly I hate it. These 20-40 minute videos are way more digestible and fit within my day.
13:28 “I see that chest down there, it’s very well hidden.”
Famous last words…
12:17 that cut makes me think you missed the jump
I'm always amazed at Tyler's deduction skills, figuring placements or puzzle elements that just fly over my head easily. (Looking at you can of worms)
But then immediately get stumped, miss or misunderstand a fairly "normal or basic" General Game Mechanic that has nothing or little to do with the logic itself.
Always gives me a little chuckle.
Much love Tyler, keep up the good work and the great videos!
It's just like simon from ctc, deducting a digit from cell with the gimmicks used... Which should also able be deducted by normal sudoku rules.
That's just so true! When your brain understand complicated things, that's where you search first!
High intelligence with low perception
AWWW MAN! That "animal flute" at the end was such a cliff hanger. this game is so sick. can't wait for more
This game has really cool mechanics for how simple it seems.
This game is so good. I love how watching Alexa, he went a completely different way then you and got the bubble wand first thing where as you do not even have that yet, but have other items he does not. Many of the puzzles can be solved multiple ways which makes things truly amazing. I still don't have that yoyo but I do have a flute. Alexa has no flute but has a slinky?!!? We are all about the same way through game overall though.
Bought the game 2 days ago and I must say I'm not disappointed it really is as good as I thought it'd be, the puzzles are absolutely amazing some of them literally made my jaw drop, you really have to pay attention to your surroundings the background and every detail because you might miss something.
if you want a small tip: you should definitely explore the area with the Fish mural more, there might be something that'll help you navigate terrain easier and I think you'll love it :)
There's so many secrets in this game. I'm fully in the post game now and still discovering/spotting new things from this video
okay the intro "previously" segment is literally top notch i love you editors
A "Previously on..." edit, kudos to these editors.
8:05 Firecrackers.
13:19 Vines would stop you.
THE "LAST EPISODES RECAP" PART IS *SOOO* GOOD THAT HELPED ME SO MUCH TO FIGURE OUT WHATS GOING ON!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH DAN AND BEN!
That Ostrich room was truly terrifying.
"Do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior?"
"Can I offer you an egg in this trying time?"
I love this editor.
Love you too, Tyler.
0:55 DEMOMAN tf2 cut out picture looks accurate for the explosion you set off…..that meme gives out nostalgia
This game is sweet and I was worried it was going to be really short until I saw all the eggs to collect
I realized very early on with this game that it was made so that you could go any direction you want from the start and be able to get stuff and make progress, but I didn't realize just how well designed the system was to allow you to go so far with just 2 items. It's very impressive.
Funny that you'd mention Elechead. I was just thinking that maybe trying to fall asleep where the bear is hiding could make it show itself, like that one time in Elechead when you had to "fall asleep" to solve a puzzle.
The frisbee way of solving these puzzles is so fun to watch.
I am into the second phase of this game and I continue to be blown away by how much there is to uncover. This is one of those special games that don't come around very often.
This got a whole cinematic “previously on” to start the video that’s wild. Editors gotta be eating good with how much they are paid
I am loving this series so far.
13:20 the vines would have stopped the frisbee :p
7:03 There are traps on the ceiling that you kept hitting. Loving this series so far!
Loving your commentary along with the gameplay! Worth subscribing for!
The egg room is giving major bunny catching game vibes, I sense a 100% playthrough of this game
13:20 he keeps forgetting that vines break frisbee
Great series!
Tyler's skill with the frisbee is so good, he won't ever use the wand once he gets it lol.
"AN ANIMAL FLUTE? WHAT?!" gets me bruh
I had my doubts after the first video but now i'm really enjoying it. It seems very fun to watch and play!
I’m watching two different playthroughs right now (plus finishing the game myself) and it’s funny to watch how your routes are so drastically different
this is some good stuff man
This game and Rainworld, I love the genre of "little guy goes on an adventure"
I loved the intro, it sums up the previous episode perfectly! Keep up the great work
I'm so happy to see it again!
The "Previously" segment was a great idea with perfect execution 🎉 The editors have outdone themselves yet again!
I was grinning from ear to ear watch Tyler ride the frisbee to freedom! What a great way to recap, and prepare for the episode ahead!
Now to enjoy the rest of the video 😊
Crazy to be watching two people play this game so differently!
I come home and see a new aliensrock vid. Really cheers up my day
great video my guy! Love ya!
That's not a bear, that's a groundhog, Tyler!
This game is such a fun experience
A TF2 reference is always a nice thing to find on videos like this
Beat Animal Well and I really hope you spend some time on the post game puzzles, because some of them are insane despite still being accessible by the majority of the playerbase. I'm really enjoying seeing you play through this game too, as it's cool to see how someone else tackles the same puzzles, especially because you have different items to me when I did it! That non linearity is a strongsuit of Animal Well, and it might even inspire me to replay the game but take a different route to see if I can still problem solve my way through the puzzles.
This game is amazing, I am really digging it
Can't wait (Can wait) to see what happens when aliensrock find out what to do with the kangaroom.
I also wonder his process to figure out the flute.
i really hope that one day, there's gonna be modding support and custom levels for the game
The Frisbee mechanic might make some cool precision platformers
wow it's been a while since i saw a game that really piques my interest! the mechanics are so simple and fascinating
I love this series
The wheel of fortune was a nice touch
Great video 👍
I just got through the main story of the game and I have 15/20 achievements now.
This game is simply amazing. One of the best games I have ever played.
This game is so fascinating.
you know it's a good puzzle game when the dev says puzzles may take the community years
Vines prevent Frisbee cheese, so don't worry you acutally haven't cheesed anything.
Yo nice video man❤❤
I was not expecting the eggs to do something!
It's crazy how different your playthrough is from mine. I played 4.5h so far and I've only got the frisbee quite recently - it was the 5th permanent upgrade I picked up.
I played the game before watching you and the yo-yo was the last item I got, the first item I got you haven’t found yet
8:48 that balatro wheel of fortune was great by editors, thanks
great vidoe!
You Know Its a Great Puzzle Game When Tyler Plays It
after the bear room button, it looked like you could go down by walking into the right wall on the ground
I highly recommend a game that came out in early access not even a week ago and it's *really* and i mean *really* fun where you have two characters with different loadouts and inventories "Racks" and each character has a different set of components that go well together if you know which two characters work hand in hand and the main premise of this game is wiring together components to make a circuit for you to defeat enemies and progress throughout the game.
This game i am talking about is "Rogue Voltage"
Ah looking forward to you reacting to the awesome diagetic teaching around the flute
Love the intro, good job editor
Did Tyler realize he could save the block state at the adjacent room at the 7:00 room, or did he keep on repeating the entire previous section every time he died?
Having the editors premove the facecam is an amazing idea, hope this stays
Would be a mayor improvement to videos where it may be in the wrong place half of the time
This game seem huge with all of thoses eggs to find.
Tyler feeling giga-brain for realizing the frisbee tactic is very funny. It was intentional & u can't 🧀 becoz there's vines on levels. Bro was braining too hard🧠
that random team fortress two reference made me decide to get back into the game
the ostrich music is terrifying.
13:19 the vines!!! you can’t frisbee
So fitting the main character looks like an alienrock
Some of the stuff in this game, like the ostrich walk cycle and the sprinkle bomb thing animation remind me of juice world's graphics
This game is genuinely GOTY material, and I dont even care about the generic AAA drivel. This shit is something truly unique with a heart and soul. Animal Well reminded me why I love videogames.
The ostrich joke had me rolling 😂
Oh wow this game is baller awesome new series
Tyler has proclaimed his love for sweet eggs. You know what we need to do chat FLOOD HIS PO BOX WITH CADBURY EGGS!!!
The Yoyo seems pretty similar to the head detachment from Dead Cells
8:01 "Oh, cheese, these are hard to dodge"
what a cleverly designed game
This game is like a puzzle game metroidvania.
THE OSTRICH WILL GIVE ME NIGHTMARES I PUT THIS ON TO TRY TO SLEEP 😭
The ostrich was so fucking scary 😂
i laugh every time i watch you
“Do you have a moment to talk about your lord and saviour” ostrich 10:04
this game really feels like rain world but puzzles and I'm all down for it
Animal Well really reminds me of Knytt Stories - The Machine
I liked the recap
