Brilliant! Kudos! Opens up the Tele to a whole nother level of expression without making it look like a metal monster too. It don't have to be everyone's cup of Tele either. A bender on a Fender.

Damn, that is such an obvious approach! Why didn't I think of it. It looks like it performs much better than a bigsby. I've modded the hell out of various bridges on my guitars, and I never thought about this. I just gave up on tele trem at some point. Now I know which bridge my baritone tele project will get.
The one thing I wish is that just like they have a plate for a tele bridge. I hope they can make one with a humbucker plate for the bridge I hope so

Brilliant! Maybe a little pricey, but so cool, and cheaper than buying another guitar just to whammy.
I just installed a VT2nd on my Tele, and am enjoying it so far. Springs are kind of tight, but it does the vibrato thang with a twang! 🙂

how do you adjust the spring tension? to make it float
The springs have threaded flanges where the ferrules used to be. You turn each one with a screwdriver to adjust tension. There are other videos showing how they work.

Very clever solution...the only thing I don' t like is the VT on the Tremolo bar...that's a no go
They do have a bar without the VT logo on the arm.
