Or they used AI or IVF. You don't need intercourse to conceive these days. Jennifer makes total sense to me: -She's a lesbian but sex-averse so she dated and married someone but they never had sex -She adopted three children -The person she married believed they were a woman at the time but later came out as a trans man; Jennifer still considers herself a lesbian but loves her partner and stayed with him post-transition (That last one happens more often than you'd think! That’s actually really sweet and wholesome. Why not marry your best friend and adopt kids? Not necessarily for everyone but certainly a great option to have open
Yep. Like is there a decent chance the post is satire? Yeah. But can stuff like that actually happen? Definitely. Plus you can get pregnant without having sex. 12:04 there's actually a good example for this: "A father and son have a car accident and are both badly hurt. They are both taken to separate hospitals. When the boy is taken in for an operation, the surgeon (doctor) says 'I can not do the surgery because this is my son'. Now, most people might be confused or probably think the surgeon is gay, but actually in this example, the surgeon is the child's mother. But because surgeons are mostly depicted as white males 40+ years of age, that's probably what most people envision at first. This example works better in languages that have more neutral gender variants like English, though.
I remember telling this puzzle joke after hearing it MANY decades ago. Sad to say, even I couldn’t figure out the most obvious answer. When telling it, the people started asking all sorts of questions to figure it out.
Works in German too, because of generic masculine. I've heard a different example though, it went like: "After work was done, all the construction workers drank a beer together. Except for two, because they're pregnant."
@@LRM12o8 I'm German and it's a language that it doesn't work in because we have a female suffix for this. The generic masculine is only used in written stuff like academic papers and it's proven to not be neutral. If you say "der Arzt sagte ich kann dieses Kind nicht operieren, es ist mein Sohn" no one will think the doctor is female. Because anyone would use "die Ärztin sagte..." Using the generic masculine in this case would not make sense. It's only used in cases like "doctors who can't operate on children because they are their own". In English the doctors are neutral. You don't know whether a doctor or a teacher, etc. has a specific sex or gender, but in German the language makes that distinction. It's exactly why the use of the generic masculine in German written texts is considered such a problem, because at the end of the day people envision males when it's used.

Interesting historical note on emotional support employees. Back in the day factories in England would hire tea ladies to serve morning and afternoon tea to the employees, do random admin tasks, etc. Essentially, they listened to the workers needs, gave a sympathetic ear, and a cheerful smile. Their job description and their actual duties were weirdly disconnected. They were vibe ladies.

25:04 fun fact, that’s actually based on a real story from the Italian renaissance, Caterina Sforza really said that, in fact, if I remember correctly she persuaded them to let her in the fortress to convince the people in it to surrender peacefully and pointing out that “they had her children, so she would definitely not escape”. And she definitely said the sentence she says in Assassin’s Creed, while doing the same exact movement😂

Should be pretty obvious it's fake anyway, but still makes for a good example of how people can twist facts and what kind of things to look out for.
Yes, thank you for pointing that out. Also, the last murder in 1891 was in November, by then Gandhi had already left, since he went on to Paris for the Exposition universelle de Paris de 1889 that only took place until the 31st of October.

Giant Kites are actually not the same as Sails. Firstly, the Kites are designed to go much higher to access faster moving currents of air than what is available down near sea level. Secondly, the flexible anchoring prevents the disruptive torque caused by masted sails, meaning they require far less keel stabilization, allowing them to work with more modern ship designs that would be infeasible with sails.

The video with the woman saying she can always make more reminded me of a story a classmate told me. She works inside courtrooms as the person who writes everything (don't know what that is called in English). During her work, a woman has come by multiple times now. Every time she has a child, she must give them away because of her mental conditions. But she keeps bearing more children, because in her words "There will come a child that I will be able to keep". Last I heard she is on baby 12 or 13 or something. Waiting for the time that she is finally allowed to keep the child. And as The Click has already said in many, many video's: There should be some sort of license for people to have children.
Court reporter is the English term; my husband studied to be one for a while before he decided it was not the job for him. I have a cousin like that woman; her children have been adopted by two different sets of aunts and uncles, and the last one by her mother. She’d still be out there having more children if she hadn’t become severely diabetic, been completely unable to take care of herself, stole things on purpose to go back to jail, and eventually had to have a hysterectomy for health reasons, but not before she got a flesh-eating bacterial infection that ate large portions of her head and face.
This is common with women who love having babies, but whose mental state can't cope with looking after older children. Just a conveyor belt into the care system.
@@rosemarielee7775 I feel sorry for the woman who wanted to keep a child. But this is part of why I think if a woman wishes to be sterilised, she should be allowed? It’s trickier with women who can’t consent, but being given away by your birth mother is damaging to children, even if you’re too young to remember it happening. Pumping babies into the care system should be prevented, for the sake of the babies themselves, and adoption should be a very last resort for a mother-child relationship that doesn’t work out.

Now, most people might be confused or probably think the surgeon is gay, but actually in this example, the surgeon is the child's mother. But because surgeons are mostly depicted as white males 40+ years of age, that's probably what most people envision at first. This example works better in languages that have more neutral gender variants like English, though.
Haha this did not have me confused because my mother was a surgeon.
I remember telling this puzzle joke after hearing it MANY decades ago. Sad to say, even I couldn’t figure out the most obvious answer. When telling it, the people started asking all sorts of questions to figure it out.
Works in German too, because of generic masculine.
I've heard a different example though, it went like:
"After work was done, all the construction workers drank a beer together.
Because anyone would use "die Ärztin sagte..."
Using the generic masculine in this case would not make sense.
I didn’t think of a specific gender, I was just confused 😭😂

Giant Kites are actually not the same as Sails. Firstly, the Kites are designed to go much higher to access faster moving currents of air than what is available down near sea level. Secondly, the flexible anchoring prevents the disruptive torque caused by masted sails, meaning they require far less keel stabilization, allowing them to work with more modern ship designs that would be infeasible with sails.
The kites can also be reeled in when the ship gets close to port. No way those giant container terminals could work around masts.
The kites can also be packed away in a smaller space and the lack of masts mean that they don't hinder the loading/unloading of containers

So you admit that you just made a completely random correlation for no reason?
@@CircusFoxxo the friend’s correlation wasn’t random? ☠
@@ShintogaDeathAngel the common denominator of the friend's correlation is "parents not managing the risks of their household and supervising their children".
@@CircusFoxxothe common denominator of op is “corporations not managing the risks of their vehicles and supervising their employees.”

13:59 Sorry to tell you but unfortunately "we" (Sweden) also had this at Liseberg (a Swedish amusement park) back in 1923 called "Lillköping" (roughly translates to "Little Town") where about 30 people (16 - 66 years old) with dwarfism from Germany and Austria "worked" (although it's unclear how much compensation/pay they received...). They (the owners of the park) built a town in miniature scale and took an entrance fee for people to come and gawk at them 😮💨
Vent, HVA! I LISEBERG??!!
15:23 no, imagine how many more hours we'd be forced to work if we didn't need to sleep
29:56 Imma tell you anyways. There's this cool video on how you could theoretically turn a sphere inside out, then huggbees turned it into this really weird incest thing
Oh wait ok. I've seen the original that's actually educational and interesting and everyone else has only been talking about the shit post one and I got so confused
I enjoy my sleep. Just imagine if you didn’t have to pay bills. No work, no budget balancing, no tax paying. 8 hours for sleep, nice long meal times, enough time to garden or paint or learn a new language, world wide trips at your own pace. But then again all that requires other people to work. Be kind to workers.
As an American, seeing a 34 graded as a D and an 84 graded as an A+ was. Wild, to say the least.
Really? Curious German here, so what would 34 and 84 be graded in America?
@@linnoly 60-69 is a D, 70-79 is a C, 80-89 is a B, 90-100 is an A. Stuff like A+ or A- varies, but generally 90-92 is A-, 93-97 is A, and 98-100 is A+.
34 would be an F (failing), 84 would be a B.
I actually grew up in an area where 69 was an F, and there was no D grade at all, so 34 registers as less than halfway to passing an assignment to my brain.
Yeah same here, figured it was another country
Did anybody notice that at the end they wrote "very god!" instead of very good?
@jessyselbmann5205 was looking for this!
5:30 I've seen artists encourage each other to draw stuff with too many limbs just to mess with the algorithms lmfao
Theres an app called nightshade (i think) it makes art weird for AI so it thinks that the picture of a clam you made is a pic of cheese (for example)
Until that becomes its own genre of art, and future art schools are teaching aspiring artists "limb surrealism".
@@IceMetalPunk I wouldn't be against that development ngl, that sounds fun. We'd lose a battle again AI, but win a battle against ourselves 🤧
@@pauline_f328 I dunno, sounds like we'd just end up being more ironic in our failure to understand that AI training is analogous to art students studying and learning and drawing inspiration, not to copypasta theft.

I love these videos so much, but I just have to say, the "Are you okay man?" at 22:51 hurt me in a way I didn't expect it to when hearing it from someone, especially since I also thought "well, that would mean $150k in total for me", something about Click's voice is so caring and comforting even when it's just a video lol
I didn't see anyone else bring this up, I'm also lazy and didn't scroll far, so I want to add a bit of Stuart Little lore, in the books Stuart wasn't adopted. He was born from Mrs. Little. He also somehow drives a car.
"Somehow" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Fun fact: rats can actually be trained to drive little cars. There's even a study that shows rats who learn to drive the car are more emotionally resilient 😮
19:56 For anyone wondering the context is as bad as you think. In the movie, her dad forbids her from having a boyfriend. And it was also made in the era where it was the norm for is us southern folks to call our dads "daddy" regardless of age.
okay but why is her dad saying how good she is at french kissing, that's the whole reason it was concerning bruh
@@uglebeffuspretty sure it’s from National Lampoon’s Vacation. Hilarious movie, a classic.

(got baited to comment lol)
yeah, i saw that too lol
21:50 Well... technically speaking, feathers are just highly modified hairs, and sines the whole feather came off, it is equilecant of rooting up your hair and ticling your new bald spot with it.
So....can I be your office frolicker? Goofing around and giving off vibes is kind of the only thing I'm consistently good at apart from sleeping and sarcasm.
I like to be that person to go around and check on people. Make sure they're just doing alright and vibing with them a little.
Too bad I'm not socially compatible with many places long term due to being queer and neurodovergent in a very conservative area
But if I could just do this as a job it would be nice. I can kind of do it when I'm picking up food from restaurants for delivery so that will have to do for now.
Maybe if click becomes the best plushie maker in the world he can hire all of us XD

After having spinal surgery on Monday, my week has been quite difficult and painful. So what was my best distraction, binge watching your videos Click. I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me cope with the pain, with your humour and wholesome side rants. Todays video was the icing on the cake 🎂 ❤❤❤

So your rapper name is Lil spine surgery? 😅 On a serious note, hope you recover quickly, best wishes
As long as you don't follow the lead of the guy at 18:00 you should be fine! But all the best on your recovery :)
@shadowofthemoon3104 😆 there's no danger of that happening
As I recall, the kites pulling ships news story was that the wind is faster a bit above the water rather than right at the water surface, and if you have your sail on a string like a kite it's more effective.
29:30 Can’t believe his buddies didn’t let him snuggle in one of their beds!!🤣🤣🤣Also those beds scare me, both sleeping in them and under them!
At 27:52 the guy wrote "Very god!" FFS YOU WERE GOING SO WELL AAAAAA
I think the whole thing was a meme before that too. I haven't seen any other comments about this, but a 31/100 is an F, not a D, and an 84/100 is a B, not an A+ (at least by most metrics I've seen, but I can't imagine there are a whole lot of metrics that give a 16 point berth for an A+)
The video with the woman saying she can always make more reminded me of a story a classmate told me.
Stenographer is the term for that
40:40 Unfortunately in most of the U.S., discrimination based weight/body size is not against the law.
32:11 I must be the outlier bc I literally dreamt about my phone just the other night. I had somehow installed a new OS that was littered with ads to my iPhone, so all my system apps were gone, and I could hardly even unlock my phone without getting ads. It was horrifying!
14:06 adding on top of this, colonizers often had zoos with black/native people in them for their enjoyment to watch :)
Weirdly, the first country to outlaw human zoos was Nazi Germany. Because Hitler thought they glamorized non-Aryan cultures.
To be fair, by that time most of the people in "human zoos" were paid performers, not captives.
...source?
Just look up human zoos and you will find alot about it
@@cronagorgon6435 My source was the BBC before YT deleted my comment.
For those who missed it, look up which country was the first to ban "human zoos", the answer might surprise you!
And there were freak show exhibits using people with disabilities or deformities either from an injury or a congenital condition as "performers", inuit were trafficked by colonizers to exhibit at the world fair in human zoos too. I'm not surprised if Roma were either
32:22 as a former cashier in a German discount supermarket (think along the lines of Aldi) I've had dreams in which I was haunted by the beeping of the scanner till. I'm pretty sure some of it included me sitting behind the till, but now that it was mentioned, I can't remember if I ever saw myself moving things across the scanner or typing on the touchscreen...
I hate those work dreams! It's bad enough that you work 8 hours a day, then you come home and work 8 hours in your sleep! And you don't even get paid!
14:46 - the fact that the math did not add up correctly went right past me... omg! XD
32:09 cellphone did appear in a couple of my dreams. In both, I was talking with my friend on videochat
I've definitely seen cellphones in my dreams, but it is always someone else using it.
I've definitely used mine in my dreams too
Same. My phone and computer are in my dreams about as often as I actually use them.
Literally tonight used my phone for like half a dream. Google, bus schedule, and calling mum
21:59 feathers are actually technically modified scales, not keratin like your fingernails are. So basically technically it’s like taking a piece of hair from your head and rubbing it over your body I guess.
In the USA Dr.'s note are insane. Let's say you work Min Wage at $7.25 an hour, to miss a four hour shift (where you get paid approx $29 before tax) you have to get a Dr.'s note. But most min wage jobs don't have insurance, so you're paying out of pocket for an Urgent Care location, which is on average $350. So you're losing approx $320 just to keep the job that doesn't pay you enough but you'll not survive without.
Timestamp 3:10 - I did that once. It was during a ballet recital in the studio, and I had already finished everything I was rehearsing but my sisters were still dancing so I was waiting for them so we could get picked up. I decided to slide around the perimeter or the studio on my back using only my shoulder blades and pushing off the wall with my feet when I turned a corner. The teachers were recording each dance so there is one recording where I can be seen just sliding along the wall in the background.
