Can you please tell me if this process would be good for a basment. Tents had a dog on the basment and the smell is horrible and does not seem to stay away. Apparently thats were the dog went to the bathroom often.
@@LadyB2006 Absolutely! You can clean and seal it or add some color and a surface sealer to make it nice looking. Either way it should mitigate the smell.
I like to spray it on without diluting. I'll wet the concrete first to help it migrate deeper into the slab before spraying it on. The longer you can keep it wet and agitate it, the better it works.
Would you recommend the Kennel Sealer on top of the DPS? I'm needing the strongest sealer possible to prevent urine smells and fight against future dog accident smells.
No, just use the Kennel Sealer as a stand alone. The Creto DPS can have surface sealers over it but not another penetrating sealer. A good combo is the DPS with the Poly Shine over it because it's non-breathable.
@@CretoSeal20okay we will get those. Do you know how much area is covered with the 5 gallon of xtacular? And would we follow the same process as the video?
Absolutely. I would probably go with a more durable coating for a garage though, like Versatec if you don’t want to diamond grind… or Sweet & Easy polyaspartic coating if you do.
After spraying the enzyme solution do you let it sit for a certain amount of time before wetting it with the power washer the first time? I just don't wanna wash it all off by accident
The longer it’s wet / scrubbed the better it works. The Xtacular works for a couple weeks after the cleaning which is very different than most other enzyme cleaners.
Thank you so much
No problem!
Can this work in inside basement concrete floors?
@@JC-qk9nt Absolutely! You would use a mop and wet dry vac instead of the pressure washer.

What dilution ratio do you use with the Xtacular?

After cleaning, the concrete floor still smells bad. Can Barrier seal the odor inside the concrete?

Can this be use on Asphalt?
@@caribbeanqueen5589 The Xtacular cleaner can but not the sealers.
Can this be used on patio pavers?
@@shantapatton Yes, you can use Xtacular and Resist All instead of Creto DPS. The Creto sealer only works on concrete but Resist All works on pavers.

Can you paint over crdeo
Yes, it’s not hydrophobic like most other densifying sealers. I use it before applying topcoats all the time!
Is this method suitable for use on concrete floors in garages? Because my tenant keeps 5 big dogs in the garage, which makes the garage smelly.

Most if not all the odor is eliminated from cleaning and the penetrating sealer. The topcoat is the icing on the cake!
