It becomes a really good cleaner, with a neutral charge that cleans better than most household cleaners, kills all the germs and bacteria that cause odour, and reverts back to natural producs so is environmentally friendly!
I got rid of all of my carpet and laid down vinyl. End of peed on carpet. Love the vinyl. Much better than carpet. If I want carpet underfoot, I put down throw rugs. Washable throw rugs. Works for me!
I used to clean carpets. First thing I'd do after being told Fifi "just pees in one tiny spot" is pull back the carpet until I could find dry carpet padding. This often revealed soaked padding under half the room, or more, as Fifi's repeated deposits spread by capillary action through and beneath the padding and never fully dried because the carpet shielded it from direct exposure to the air. Best practice, then, is to remove and replace the affected carpet pad because it's cheap and cleaning it isn't practical as well as thoroughly treating the floor beneath it (especially if it's porous like concrete) along with treating and cleaning the carpet. As he demonstrated near the beginning, pee adds up quickly, and Fifi won't admit to it. Hope that helps.
I had the same problem when my daughter gave me a pitbull puppy for my birthday. I wasn’t expecting that and my house wasn’t puppy proof so I bought a whole bunch of pee pads for her to go on till she got old enough to go outside on her own and damn! That was quite a challenge! She would just go wherever she pleased and my carpet started smelling so bad that I couldn’t stand it anymore, so I had no choice but to pull all the carpet out throughout the entire house and let me tell you…Underneath was soaked!! 🤢 It took me 5 or 6 pass overs to finally get the concrete clean and the smell gone. Then I went n bought some nice 17 x 17 inch tile and redid my entire house 😁 My puppy’s a full grown dog now and is trained to go outside only. And if she ever has an emergency and messes on my tile, it’s an easy cleanup!

He's right. It's not just the top carpet. And because I have a cat that pees in the same spot all the time it gets all the way down to the concrete. For me the concrete was the hardest part
I find the center of the pee spot, and just pour enzyme solution into the center out of a gallon jug, that way, I know for sure I'm getting it down through all the layers. Then I spray on top to get the carpet smell off. That enzyme solution is expensive though. Any cheap enzyme solution recommendations anyone?
Do you think pre-wetting the area with a couple passes of the carpet machine and then going back over with the treatment solution in the carpet machine would help disperse the product better into the padding? We sadly, had our very old dog pass away at home in his sleep- and his urine was released in the process, he was 120lbs. So I am having a hard time getting any products down to that much surface area of the padding. I have purchased your product off Amazon- waiting for it’s arrival
Awe. I'm so sorry to hear of your furry pal passing away. ;( They bring such joy to our lives, and it hurts so much when they're gone. As for urine contamination in the pad, that's a tricky one. Your pad is like a giant sponge with lots of air pockets that can trap liquids like spills and urine. I'm glad to hear you get that part because a lot of people do mistakenly believe they just need to mist on a little bit of product and the stain magically goes away. As you hinted, it doesn't work like that. The urine contamination amount must be overcome by equal parts of decontamination effort. I.E. What Goes In, Must Come Out for decontamination to be successful. Flooding the area is one way, but can potentially cause secondary issues with wet concrete or wood subfloors that don't dry quickly and cause more bacteria to grow. Second, water is great at diluting contamination, but it doesn't neutralize, nor remove the contamination. Given all of that, here's what we recommend. First, thank you very much for your business. We sure do appreciate you, and please know you and all of our great customers can reach us via email, or via our phone, which is on the bottle. We're ALWAYS glad to help our customers! Second, if you're dealing with a large area (say 10% +/- the size of the room), it's often better to replace the pad. When you pull the pad, simply clean the back of the carpet with Stain Fu as we'll show below, install the new pad, then clean the top side of the carpet. If the stains are of manageable size, do this: You mentioned you have a carpet machine. - First, liberally spray the area with Stain Fu straight out of the bottle. - Put on some comfy walking shoes with rubber soles and literally "walk it in" to the carpet and pad. We don't want you soaking through the subfloor, though! - Leave the area alone for about 15 minutes while Stain Fu does its work. - Add 4 oz of Stain Fu to your rinse tank water in your carpet machine, and go over the area several times. - Next use the Weighted Towel method where you place a stack of 4 or so white terry cloth cotton towels on the stain, weight it down with something heavy like a book or a brick, and leave it over night. Assess the next day and repeat if necessary. The weighted towel method works like this: When your carpet and pad gets wet, it always dries from the bottom up. We can use this to our decontamination advantage by placing towels and some weight over the area to wick the deep-down contamination to the surface. Again, if you need further guidance, we're an email or phone call away. Thank you!
@@laurat3xas yes this product worked amazing! Got all the urine out of the carpet and saved me from having to replace it. I did this process and placed a cement block on a few towels to push product directly into carpet and padding, once all was dry, I used product in a carpet cleaner and went over the entire space
Depends how nasty they are. We usually wash them many times before replacing. Pro tip: wash only the contaminated towels together, and don't mix in with good linens. If they're badly spoiled, it's not a bad idea to run a cleaning cycle after washing the contaminated towels. As for the Stain Fu on the towels, that's not a concern at all. In fact we often add a little Stain Fu to our laundry as a safe stain and odor remover for all water-safe items.
I don’t understand why you’d have wall to wall carpeting with a dog. Too many layers to worry about. And after applying the solution & worrying about 4 white towels to top off the damp rug is just too much. People don’t even own 4 white towels. Hard enough to have throw rugs with a dog when they still mistake them for pee pee pads. I’d like to know the most effective product for mopping dog urine from a wood floor. I throw newspaper on it first as they’ll miss the pee pad at times & then mop with a small amount of bleach in a bucket with Dawn. I have not been successful with/vinegar and water in a mop solution
In most cases for urine, you'll want to treat the areas that are affected. If you are about to clean your carpets, you can try to pre-treat the affected area, let it dwell, and then extract it out with your machine.
Any suggestions for a rug a big area rug and I brought it outside and I pressure washed it and then flipping it over and then I’m gonna hang it on these old yard chairs and have a pyramid, and then the rug is gonna hang downward out of the pyramid shape, but now I have vinegar, and I was wondering if there’s a essential 8:04 oils you recommend?
What is you are dealing with all hard flooring? I just bought a beautiful home but the sellers didn’t clean up after their cats. I’m killing myself to clear the urine smell.
Hardwood floors can be tough because it really depends on if the floors are finished or unfinished. Also the extent of damage the urine has made. If the floor is unfinished, it is not water-safe, so you run the risk of discoloration and perhaps making the area look worse. If it's finished, you should be able to treat the areas, let it dwell for about 15-30 minutes, wipe the area, and then let it air dry. You may need to repeat the steps to get to the contamination. However if the contamination is deep and that the wood is rotting or damaged, it will have to be replaced, or possibly refurbished or refinished. It might also be worth checking around to make sure where the source of the odor is coming from. From our experience, we have seen a customer's cat urinate down vents and that needing to be cleaned out. We have also seen some cats urinate on walls, and that needing to be repainted. If you are certain it's all coming from the wood floors, just be cautious and test in an inconspicuous area first if you can :)
@@StainFu Thanks for the detailed reply. These are engineered floors so I believe I just need a bit of elbow grease. At least that’s what I’m hoping. Again thanks
Hello, we are on a concrete slab floor and will be getting wood floors in a few weeks. I currently have carpet and use natures miracle and a black light on accidents. I still at times smell urine and it drives me nuts and am very sure it's in the padding. There is no sub floor but what would you advise me to do after they take up carpet before laying new flooring? Should i black light the concrete and spray enzymes? Your help is much appreciated!
Hello there! We would recommend treating the areas (we prefer Stain Fu, naturally ) but if you are using an enzyme based product, I would wipe it up after it dries to make sure no residue is left on the concrete for the next step. We would then recommend sealing the floor with an oil-based shellac (we like B-I-N from Zinsser, can usually be found at hardware stores). This should seal the odors and be good to go 😊
@Stain Fu thank you. The enzyme cleaner wouldn't be enough? I fear having to do the last step due to the installers having to wait. If it's necessary then I can see if they would give me time.
@@Nellie7777777 It's possible it could be enough, but it depends on the severity of the urine. The main issue we see with enzyme cleaners is that it takes time for it to work, so if you treat the area(s), it's hard to know how long that would take as well. If you're not able to use Stain Fu, I would try a solution of 50/50 vinegar water instead of an enzyme since time is of the essence. But it's still possible you might need to seal it. It's best to check with the installers regarding timing. Thanks for your question!

Yes, we would test in an inconspicuous area first as there are some upholstery fibers/fabrics that are sensitive. Most modern upholstery is made of synthetic material and works great on that :)
Great question! The main difference is that our product does not use any enzymes, which we find not as effective and more time consuming than using the power of oxygen. We also don't add any perfumes/fragrances to mask the odor, and it also does not leave a sticky residue (unlike NM).
Oh Gosh, that's terrible! I'm sorry to hear that. If it were me, I would definitely speak to the apartment managers and/or maintenance people about that. If they installed new floors over floor boards with cat urine, they should have applied an oil-based primer such as Kilz or Zinsser BIN to seal and trap the odors on those boards first. In this situation, that is the best way and something they should have done before they put in new floors. If that is not an option, you could try to apply an odor remover like Stain Fu, but you would need to know where the odors are coming from, and apply enough to penetrate into the boards. Hopefully they will work with you and get it done the right way.
Unfortunately it is only available in the USA at the moment. There might be some 3rd party sellers on Amazon that sell it, but I would be cautious since it's not being sold directly from our Amazon store.
can my pets walk on it while it's still wet? this is the problem I have with other urine removers. My house is partly open plan, so I can't really keep them off certain floors.
Yes, if you are using Stain Fu it is fine if they accidentally walk on it. Mine does all the time! lol Of course, we would say to be cautious as every pet is different and can have different reactions. But Stain Fu is formulated to be a safe product around people and pets. I would be worried if you are using an enzyme cleaner (needs to stay wet and untouched for a long time for it to work) or a harsh product like Resolve (could hurt the paws and skin).
if you have a pet pissing on the carpet the worst thing you can do is use a deodorant to try to get rid of the stink. Deodorants just make it worse. clean the carpet as good as you can with soap and water but DO NOT use any product claiming to get rid of the smell. As long as you're willing to let an animal continue to live in your home though it pisses on the carpet then there is no way to solve the problem. You just have to get used to living in a toilet. You'll quickly get so used to the stink that you don't smell it any more but your guests will always be disgusted. I've done flooring for over 20 years and I've seen hundreds and hundreds of homes with animal urine in the carpet. I've ripped out the carpet and looked underneath to see just how much the pets are peeing on the rug. The homes that stink the worst are the ones where they try to mask the odor. None of the deodorants work to cover the smell, they just add another stink on top of it that worsens the problem. Products claiming to remove urine odors from carpet are like pills that claim to make your dick bigger or stop you from balding- they're a con. If you want to get rid of the stink then you have to get new carpet, you have to seal the floor, install underlayment, or both before putting in the new carpet. If the piss has soaked into the subfloor then it might not stink right after you get new carpet but in a week or two the stink will be back.
Redo the video please with faster Getting the product made and then explain what you're cleaning instead of explaining the odors before he even make everything cuz you're losing people.
I can't stand when people add all kinds of extra stuff just to make the videos longer the video title says how to remove pet urine smell not how much a 40 pound dog pees or any of the other BS I am going to find a different video. I can't stand when people add all kinds of stuff just to make their videos longer and they never get to the point and you can't skip to the end because they make sure to include different steps spread out over time.

As for the Stain Fu on the towels, that's not a concern at all. In fact we often add a little Stain Fu to our laundry as a safe stain and odor remover for all water-safe items.
Can you put it in a carpet cleaner?
Good work
"Eliminate the source" my poor dog will have to go
lol
Will stainfu work on tile floors.
Yes it does ☺
Too much talking.
Do puppies pee down or against the wall? I have a feeling the puppy peed into and soaked drywall.
Here`s an idea,,,get rid of all your carpets and stain and seal if you have concrete if not lay down vinyl
Cleaning my carpet will this eliminate the smell or do I have to use specific cleaning
In most cases for urine, you'll want to treat the areas that are affected. If you are about to clean your carpets, you can try to pre-treat the affected area, let it dwell, and then extract it out with your machine.
I failed math for a reason.. milliliters is not my friend.
5 ml = 1 tsp. You can take it from here.
@@lynnchisholm1878 much appreciated 👍
I have to replace carpet in a rental and it’s bad can I sprythe sub floor will that work
You'll most likely want to seal the subfloor with an oil-based sealer (like Kilz) before replacing the carpet.
I just purchased and I’ll come back update my review. My shorkie is marking everywhere 😢
6:00 for the solution.
Okay please help - puppy has weed on bath mats in bathroom.
How do I get this out in my wash... so he doesnt keep peeing on it over and over.
What is you are dealing with all hard flooring? I just bought a beautiful home but the sellers didn’t clean up after their cats. I’m killing myself to clear the urine smell.
I hope he answers, I’m dealing with the same problem 🤦🏼♀️
Dimensional stability! I feel you.

Would this work on a cushion couch that’s dark grey?
Yes, we would test in an inconspicuous area first as there are some upholstery fibers/fabrics that are sensitive. Most modern upholstery is made of synthetic material and works great on that :)
Pretty long winded sales pitch 😂🤘
How is your product different from natures miracle?
Great question! The main difference is that our product does not use any enzymes, which we find not as effective and more time consuming than using the power of oxygen. We also don't add any perfumes/fragrances to mask the odor, and it also does not leave a sticky residue (unlike NM).
Omg, this was so long.
Plz tell me what to do if I just moved into an apartment & it seems they put new floors over cat pee floor boards …???? PLZZZ
🙏🙏🙏
That's a good reason to break a lease
Where to buy it in Canada?
Unfortunately it is only available in the USA at the moment. There might be some 3rd party sellers on Amazon that sell it, but I would be cautious since it's not being sold directly from our Amazon store.
Moral of the story may pets are not supposed to be pets
What about concrete?
This video can be explained in less than 3 min.
At that point i would just pour it out of the bottle
This is an advertisement.
This is basically just a long winded infomercial for this guy’s product….
Great info but just give me the goods. lol😅
haha sorry 😆 thanks for watching!
can my pets walk on it while it's still wet? this is the problem I have with other urine removers.

No. He makes the listening party to feel stupid and uncomfortable.
Good information but you have got to start getting to the point I almost left the channel.
Tou cant get it out...removing the carpet pad....is best solution
How about 4years of urine build up???
Rip the carpet. Up, treat the sub floor, see if it's treatable. If not you'll have to replace the sub floor😊
didnt realize how nasty dog owners are, forget the replacements until you can get the dog outside
Way too long to say “got urine smell? Use liberal amounts of stainfu!”
Sorry 😢
if you have a pet pissing on the carpet the worst thing you can do is use a deodorant to try to get rid of the stink.
Why can’t we just talk lbs I don’t need confused further

I can't stand when people add all kinds of extra stuff just to make the videos longer the video title says how to remove pet urine smell not how much a 40 pound dog pees or any of the other BS I am going to find a different video.
I can't stand when people add all kinds of stuff just to make their videos longer and they never get to the point and you can't skip to the end because they make sure to include different steps spread out over time.
I'm leaving soooo much that is unnecessary
