I finally broke down and subscribed to Nick thanks to you. I'm east coast but coming out there soon. Covid relief and it's getting close. Hope the old Town is steady, easier for you guys in the ocean. Definitely halibut.
Really appreciate the nice crisp picture quality. I caught 3 halibut on my fly rod from shore at Chrissy two springs ago when visiting S.F. A 28, 24, and 22. Released them all since we staying in a hotel with no cooking facilities. Good times!
Never been kayaking. Entering for drawing for guided trip with Nick fish 007 James Bond LOL. Great video. Following you for years. Thank you for your videos. Born and raised in SF. If your ever in Vegas let’s go out on my boat at lake mead during striper boils.
Would love that guided trip when I get back to the bay. I'm here in Washington, but grew up in the bay. Love seeing yall smashin!!! Tight lines Adam!!!
I'll go with Nick!! I've been looking for a good kayak fisher guide to show me the ropes, now that I've watched a billion of these videos of you all doing this ;D. I'd drive up for the meet!
As soon as you said "it's so heavy" I thought bat ray. Those guys pull so hard, especially on light tackle, anti-climactic, but still fun. Now if only the weather would cooperate here in the Bay, it's been so windy! Congrats on 60K!
Sorry that you missed the giant halibut, next time👍 My dad and I watch your vids all the time - I’d love a chance to send him fishing with @nickfish. Thanks for sharing your adventures ✌️
Great video Adam. Good to see Nick fish hanging out with you. You all seem to click so well together which is so cool. You all have so much fun together and I think it's safer to have someone out there with you. The comradery is so cool. So sorry you missed the big one, but that tells you they're out there and makes you go after them day after day. Stay safe Adam and Nick "007". Aloha from Kansas
That had to be a huge Halibut! It had all the classic signs. Super heavy, dead weight, except for an occasional head shake. I lost a "Doormat" off Hunters Point years ago except we did see it as it came unhooked near the boat! Easily 30 lbs/40 in 😫 I think it hurts more when you don't see it. If you see it and lose it, well...you at least have solid verification of what you had on! "The one that got away" will always drive us! Keep up the awesome videos Adam and tight lines! 🤙🏼
Me and my friend were just talking about taking a kayak trip! We’ve never fished together would be amazing to take him out on a kayak trip in the bay! I just bought my first fishing kayak thanks to all the Bay Area you tubers for the inspiration and knowledge!
Great video, thank you and nick for a good commentary lol. That was a big Hali! I would love to go out with nick I have never even been on a kayak before. Keep up the good work guys!
I learn a lot from you Adam since I started watching your UA-cam channel. Thanks for the recommendations. I'd like to door kayak fishing on my 10 footer and maybe getting a guide from Nick Fish will boost my motivation. I've just been shore fishing and only have weekends to do it done times. In Monterey, winds pick up during the day too. Be safe and stay healthy. Clarence
Awesome video... I’ve always wanted to fish out in the ocean but I’ve always been slightly afraid of the sea... going with nick and a buddy would definitely ease my fear a bit and maybe I’d buy a fishing kayak if I enjoyed it enough
Hey Adam I like to see you fishing around your friends , I love when they make comments ,you should do it more often ,someday you might get a giant fish and your friends will be there to help you 🐠🐟🛶🌉🎏🎣
Was out there last week, same spot and ALSO hooked a massive bat ray in the wing. Was a fun fight but knew within a minute it was probably a bat ray and was more annoyed at how long it was taking to get it up lol.
I watched your 'eel' video recently and thought about those rock jetty' and slipping. Try backpackers 'micro spikes' used for snow and rock. Might save a broken bone or two...
Great video! Even the Mud Marlin and the Mystery fish. I have thought about pulling jerk baits on a 3 way for Halibut , but haven't been to keen on the snag up ratio. Did you get much salad on the 1s you tried? I'd love to win a trip with Nick. He seems to be good peeps with a great attitude!
pretty sure that was a big halibut Adam!Any of you guys been out to Oakland bayfarm my personal best is 46"on a custom made hair raiser came from the area.
Love your vids Adam! You're 100% right as many time as I get skunked I still love doing it! Only been on a charter one time for salmon(got skunked) but I'd love to go again! Keel up the awesome content
Definitely believable that it could have been a huge halibut. I'm not an expert though. I have yet to catch a legal size halibut. Let the haunt keep you going back for more 👍
So I am a kayak fisherman in Florida. We have flounder out here. They look just like the halibut you are catching. Do you know maybe what the differences are? Obviously size is a major factor. Just interested in why they are called halibut and not flounder. Love you videos. It's always a joy watching and learning from ya. Peace!
We have something close to your flounder called flatfish, sole and sand dabs, but halibut are different because of where they came from (California halibut is a subspecies of the pacific halibut from Alaska.) let me know if there are any other distinctions
I didn’t think you would drink the water in fear of parasites 😂😂 when you didn’t eat the heart I thought “smart” then you drank the blood!! 😂😂 NOOOOOOOO 😂😂
My whole fishing season is done. Shattered my ankle on Friday with major ligament damage. 6-8 month recovery after surgery. I am not happy at all. So I'll look forward to any local fishing video I can get!
I don't know if you're up to throwing a $25 bait, but the megabass vision 110 is the best jerk bait on the market bar none. They've got better action, color, sound, etc. Either way awesome video and awesome catch.
I’d love to win this trip because I just bought my first kayak and I could use a lesson on bay fishing. I’m in Oakland and mobile. Thanks for putting out such great content, Adam.
23:39 , the story of life . Good trip Adam . It´s always nice to have proof of the one that got away .
I finally broke down and subscribed to Nick thanks to you. I'm east coast but coming out there soon. Covid relief and it's getting close. Hope the old Town is steady, easier for you guys in the ocean. Definitely halibut.

Taku Tuesdays AND Die Hard Fishing on the same day??

This is one of your best videos yet. Lots of action and it was cool seeing you fishing with your friend. Hope you make more with this guy.
Sorry that you missed the giant halibut, next time👍 My dad and I watch your vids all the time - I’d love a chance to send him fishing with @nickfish. Thanks for sharing your adventures ✌️

Would love to head out with Nick again! This time I’d bring my son with me. Nick knows his stuff! Thanks for another great vid, Adam!
Nice day out there. Would love to take a guided trip from Nick - he always seems like he's having a good time.

Commenting for that guided trip w/ Nick! You guys are hilarious. Looking forward to the next one.

We always enjoy watching your videos and picking up a few tricks of the trade. It would be great to go on a fishing trip with Nick :)!
Watching these videos and learning how to catch halibut has me excited to try and get one this summer when school ends!
Great video - think that was a Big Hali. Seemed to just go back to the bottom and head shake. Live to try a Hali trip with you or Nick.
Hey Adam I like to see you fishing around your friends , I love when they make comments ,you should do it more often ,someday you might get a giant fish and your friends will be there to help you 🐠🐟🛶🌉🎏🎣
thats what i was thinking too we used to catch a lot of those out there and when hooked they take off ! slimed up the boat too !
The drug of the tug! cool that Nick Fish is doing the guide service - would be awesome to win that
Was out there last week, same spot and ALSO hooked a massive bat ray in the wing. Was a fun fight but knew within a minute it was probably a bat ray and was more annoyed at how long it was taking to get it up lol.
damn, that was a big hali for sure at the end.
I watched your 'eel' video recently and thought about those rock jetty' and slipping. Try backpackers 'micro spikes' used for snow and rock. Might save a broken bone or two...
Great action like always keep it coming also what brand is that blue pole .has great action ,looking for a halibut pole like that thanks
Another kickass video Adam (and Nick). 🤙🏼
👍👍👍 you have enjoy the day so don't worry too much the fish, you made your dinner there already!
Nick 18:20 ” I could get bitches hanging out here” lol
Great video! Thanks for all the hard work that goes into making a video
Very cool going fishing with your Buddy, awesome 👌
Came to win something today. Nice fishing adam. Could of been a jack smelt.
Great day out there! That would be sick if you caught that same fish later on this year!!! My fingers are crossed for you!
Great video as always. That swim bait was on fire.
Great Day of fishing , 👍What was the brand and name of the Lure you used , I didn’t see it on your links .
#GOOGAN SQUAD!!! A Norcal diehard that puts in the WORK y'all!!! MATTY B...
pretty sure that was a big halibut Adam!Any of you guys been out to Oakland bayfarm
my personal best is 46"on a custom made hair raiser came from the area.
Let the haunt keep you going back for more 👍
I bet you'll get one soon!
If in the San Francisco Bay, could be a seven Gill shark or a large ray. Not sure, but the fight is always fun!
Peace!

@@Nik-gh6gz ah I see.. thanks brother. They look so much alike except for the size haha. Halibut are door mats for real lol!
You and Nick have good chemistry lmao 😂
Great gaff explanation Adam!
Owner split rings and might consider the VMC inline single hooks like the 7266 model. Butt wise there has been 4 over 50lbs in the S.F bay of recent.
I didn’t think you would drink the water in fear of parasites 😂😂 when you didn’t eat the heart I thought “smart” then you drank the blood!! 😂😂 NOOOOOOOO 😂😂
I thought that first one was a bat ray, the way it was spooling your reel and being in the bay! But it was a great fight! Nice hali!
22:02 damn. Break offs always suck, I hate losing my lures. What lb monofilament leader were you using? You'll get 'em next time!
Great video! Ive always wanted to take a kayak out but scared ima cap size lol.
I would watch a video of you and Nick just talking while you fish. There's probably a lot of content that doesn't make these vids.
I would love to get out on the bay for some kayak fishing.
Great video Adam! Keep up the great work!
I would love a kayak trip with nikfish!
Last fish kind of reminds me of a shark..Either way I enjoy watching both your channels.. Tight line gentlemen!
81% sure the mystery fish was a hali.😊 “In fishing we throw ourselves away...and find ourselves again and again!”
Perfect gaff job!! no damage to the fillets.
Would love to hit the water with Nick - I'm an east coaster but travel to Santa Rosa to see family - so Nick - I'm your winner :)
Nick Fish! Take me fishing!!! 😃
Dope, love to try the kayak hopefully soon awesome video
A good day when I can watch a new Die Hard video
Had to have been a shark. Some good action for sure. Beats being at work even though you got one keeper
Pick me for the kayak trip! That would be awesome!! Keep up the quality content Adam
That was a big bat ray, the last one couldve been a ray too, ive caught a few when fishing for halibut
You always look like you are having fun. Cheers.
Why do you have the trolling motor going forward when you’re reeling in???
Awesome vid bud love it I never tried kayak fishing but I do all kinds of fishing on my boat in my channel 😊
Haven't caught a Halibut yet but its on the top of my list next to steelhead!
I would watch videos of you and Nick anytime! Great content from you both. Would love to see you trolling for striper also.
My whole fishing season is done. Shattered my ankle on Friday with major ligament damage. 6-8 month recovery after surgery. I am not happy at all. So I'll look forward to any local fishing video I can get!
Looking forward to catching my first halibut off my new kayak
Hopefully your next Hali is a monster always love watching these videos
I’m sure you’ve used them, but the halibut love the lucky craft flash minnow!
I hooked 2 bay rays both on the wings same day while out for halibut. Strong fighters
Going to book a trip with nick👌 I've been trying to get my first legal hali but always end up short!
Have fun!
Nice ray lol. Great day of fishing tho. Tell nick I went on his website there were no prices tho.
How do you tell the difference between baby halibut and sand dabs?
fishin trip with the slayers! lets go!!
Not a bad day when you"only"catch a 30 incher... keep up with the awesome videos brother
Another great video filmed in my backyard!
Can’t wait to fish with Nick!
A chance to fish with Nick? Fosho!
“...it’s gonna keep me
coming back...” Die Hard Fishing
sounds like a cool T-shirt .
The bat Ray fight happened to me a while back. Caught a 55 pound bat Ray on some ghost shrimp for sturgeon and fought for 45 min.
I could use a trip to the halibut fields.
I'd drive all the way from Idaho to fish for halibut from a kayak.
Nice thanks for the great Info!!!
I don't know if you're up to throwing a $25 bait, but the megabass vision 110 is the best jerk bait on the market bar none. They've got better action, color, sound, etc. Either way awesome video and awesome catch.
I’m going to Paradise cove tomorrow and try my luck there, gonna be my first trip of the year for halibut
I just got into deep sea fishing and would love to go halibut fishing
i remember nick fish caught his monster hali and i was certain from the fight it would be a bat ray but it wasn't. so never know until it surface.
It's better to know, the highs and lows are soo much better.
Nice I knew it was a halibut it gave that nice headshake 🤟
Would be awesome to try kayaking in the bay/ocean!
What rods do you use?
Good stuff brother 🇺🇸🎣
I’d love to win this trip because I just bought my first kayak and I could use a lesson on bay fishing. I’m in Oakland and mobile. Thanks for putting out such great content, Adam.
I want to be the lucky winner to go with Mr. Nick! Let's go dude.
