JoJo Siwa is surprisingly Nickelodeon's most successful music act, and she wasn't even in a sitcom. I wonder how they learned to market her. She kind of was there Hannah Montana (and she could barely even sing lol). She just had LOTS of personality, an interesting look with her bows, and appealed to that young audience
I honestly would have seen so much potential in How to Rock. My Paramount+ binge for it was very worth it, they had a handful of good music & characters.
14:00 thank you, I also hated the Ariana fans saying she shoulda been the clear star, bro she was a nobody, AND THATS NOT HOW THE DAN SCHNEIDER FORMULA WORKED, you grabbed a former star, and made them a spin off All That-Kenan & Kel - Amanda Show - Drake and Josh - iCarly - Sam & Cat. Zoey 101 was an outlier bc Britney Spears had a sister, and then that lead to Victorious, but they had already chose Victoria Justice bc she was on iCarly
Two things 1. Jamie Lynn Spears was a cast member on All That, then she got Zoey 101 2. Victoria Justice was on Zoey 101 before she played Shelby on iCarly; that’s why we were excited for that episode because we already knew Victoria from Zoey 101
I mean she wasn’t a nobody. Ariana and Liz were both on broadway together before Victorious. They both just hadn’t been on Nickelodeon before. But they weren’t nobodies. In the long run, it worked better for them to not be the lead. Though nickelodeon definitely lost out not having ariana sing lead in more songs.
@@roses.and.mint0I think if they promoted Victoria, Liz, Ari, Daniela, and Leon all together with good producers and share the same amount of screen time it would of been epic and we would of been ok with that
Cymphonique Miller and Max Schneider are both SO TALENTED! How To Rock isn't the best show, like it's kind of cliche, but I found the songs relatively good (they're the weakest of all our childhood shows), but Cymphonique's voice makes up for it. They could've done so much with her, it's a real shame...maybe she should've been on Disney instead
I think the reason Hannah Montana was popular is that the concept was great, and that Miley was bullied at school but the bullies worshipped her secret self was probably a power fantasy to many. To me at least, it wasn't very funny, but the concept was engaging even though being a celebrity is something of what I want to be the least. But "would she be able to keep it a secret" was engaging. The whole show has an identity crisis if you think about it 😅
17:42 I LOVE this show!!! I’ll never forgive Nickelodeon for canceling this “How To Rock” & not giving us a cd soundtrack. It was a great show. Yeah it was a little rough around edges but all pilots & first seasons r because everyone is trying to figure out their characters. This show deserved…maybe if was on Disney it would’ve had a better outcome
If Nickelodeon wasn't showing outright favoritism to Dan Schneider, it probably would've been treated better by the network. Nick let Schneider & SpongeBob dominate the network.
Yay mentioning Big Time Rush being inspired by The Monkees!!! I think it’s so important to note that this concept was already done and proven successful in the 60s with the Monkees getting legit number 1 chart hits. Also there’s some BTR episodes and moments that are definitely paying homage to Beatles and Monkees (which The Monkees were a Beatles inspired thing) Although Micky Dolenz of the Monkees has compared The Monkees to Glee specifically I think this whole phenomena going on in the 2000s-2010s is similar.
Ooooh fellow Monkees nerd 👀 I'm a millennial/Gen Z cusper who grew up w a Gen X/Boomer cusper Mom that got me into the Monkees young. So it was fun seeing shows like BTR be inspired by their comedy as well as their way of getting music out to fans
Make It Pop came out only a year before School of Rock, so it may be a similar case of aging out of the audience. I really enjoyed it as a tween! The show aired in a format similar to "House of Anubis", "Every Witch Way", "I Am Frankie", etc. Which means that it had a new episode each weeknight for about a month. Make It Pop is kind of like a K-Drama, like when it comes to plot lines and antics. The premise of the show is 3 girls meet at a boarding school and start a girl band, then there is a guy who is the DJ. The group goes through high school while each of the members is also pursuing another passion. The three girls were really the heart of the show and I think their dynamic is kind of what makes the show. The show had two seasons. The acting improved in the second season, but some scenes do not have the best acting. Some of the music is quite good (I have it on my work playlist because I work with kids and they like it)! If you end up checking out some of the music, I would recommend "Tomorrow is Ours", "Whispers", or "Promise You That". I think the show is kind of an Americanized K-Drama and some of the music was similar to K-Pop styles at the time. It actually was why I started listening to K-Pop. The show isn't for everyone, but I loved it at the time and I still love the music! It is definitely worth checking out at least the music!
Weirdly enough, Make it pop is similar to another failed band called School Girlz, a band that had their own TV movie on Nickelodeon back in 2010. It was also about a bunch of girls in their own band, while also being in a boarding school. I know both Make it Pop and School Girlz are definitely the product of Nick Cannon and him wanting to make a successful band.
Big time rush was everything to me (and still is!). I tuned into every new episodes and reruns. They were definitely the most successful out of the list just on how well they did during the shows run. Im talking sold out concerts, tv cameos, guest appearances on talk shows. Even performed at the white house and the thanksgiving day parade! They did a lot compared to other shows! Im glad that things worked out for them during the pandemic and they were able to keep the name and perform some of their older songs on top of their newer ones. And i do remember watching Make It Pop, but i had stopped paying attention halfway through their 2nd season. I was aware of kpop in 2015 and i was interested in the concept of the show. But i remember some kpop fans out there was bashing the concept and calling it cringe before they had the chance to air it. lol
Me 2, I was and heck still into BTR cuz i was attending secondary school and my other fave stars were justin bieber n one direction. They are the only group that actually gained traction as well as popularity and now they're even better than before
Big Time Rush >>> Jonas Brothers. I am surprised the Jo Bro's even became as popular as they did considering their show just wasn't that good. And Camp Rock had me more focused on Demi and her talent. But Disney marketed them well, putting them with their main girl Hannah Montana. They were touring with Miley, and was in the highest rated episode of the show, because it came right after High School Musical 2 (their most POPULAR movie). Disney was a GENIUS at marketing during that time. Now imagine if Big Time Rush was given that, they would've been more mainstream now. BTR set themselves up by having One Direction open for them though lol, like that's your competition, they're younger, British, and were on the come-up...Disney would've known better than to do that lol
the difference is the Jonas Brothers were a band before Disney. They signed to Hollywood records after being dropped from their first label. Only after they had success did Disney decided to put them into their shows as cameos.
it's funny you mentioned "make it pop" cause a couple of days ago i was hanging out with my friends and they began talking about being huge fans of this show about a girl group that was sort of kpop-esque inspired from nickelodeon in 2015 and i had never heard about it? and then they began showing me the songs from it and i wondered why i didn't watch it back in the day because it seemed right up my alley lol
The Naked Brothers Band literally set the ground work for these shows. It is quite literally one of my favorite shows of all time. I even have season 1 and 2 on dvd. I still follow Nat and Alex and most of the cast to this day. I will say that watching the episodes again has made me realize that the show was a little cringy but I still love it. The music in this show was way too much for its time. So fucking good. Holds a big place in my heart ❤️
What’s funny for me is that while I watched the show, I for some reason had no clue they were an actual band for years. I have no clue why I didn’t know since it was pretty obvious lol Or maybe I did know but I just forgot for a while until my friend brought them up and reminded me.
I think part of the reason the music from nickelodeon was never as successful as the disney channel's was because of the age group it was marketed for. Disney's music was marketed for families, which included children, whereas Nickelodeon's targeted teenagers. IMO, kids tend to be more hyperfixed on what they watch and end up consuming more of it, thus hannah montana's success; and since shows like victorious targeted pre-teens and teens, who don't buy into these things as much, it wasn't as much of a hit.
That’s a good point. The shows Nick was marketing to kids specifically were usually their cartoons. So while kids were eating up on all things SpongeBob related, they probably didn’t respond as strongly to these older-skewing live action shows. Also SpongeBob had humor that worked on many levels, so the parents loved it just as much as their kids did. The results? A few of these are practically forgotten aside from the nostalgia angle, while SpongeBob becomes one of animation’s undisputed titans.
@jackreiter7291 Nickelodeon shoved SpongeBob in our faces starting in the late 2000s, before most of these musical sitcoms even aired. They rarely aired the other shows, unless they were either from Dan Schneider (iCarly, Drake & Josh, Victorious, Sam & Cat, Zoey 101) or at the top of the charts ala "Big Time Rush". Regardless, Nick decided to air SpongeBob no less than 8 times a day everyday since 2008ish, I remember.
Does anyone think SpongeBob’s popularity may have played a role in why their music based shows never took off the way Disney’s did. It’s been the biggest show on Nickelodeon for over two decades now. It’s probably the only show from that time which was as popular as Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers were. And even now, they milk every cent they can out of it. That includes promoting the show excessively. And it’s basically an open secret that any Nick shows that aren’t immediately SpongeBob-level popular get canceled and burned off on the Nick spinoff channels no one watches. I can only imagine how frustrating it was for the executives to balance their attempts at reaching the Disney audience with their number one cash cow. So did they just screw over all these shows in SpongeBob’s favor?
Yes (to your question), for both SpongeBob and Dan Schneider. Schneider was their go-to guy for content & programming, so any non-Schneider show that wasn't as big of a ratings hit out the gate got mistreated. It was an open secret that Nick mistreated any show that wasn't SpongeBob or from Schneider starting sometime in the early 2000s up until about 2015.
i LOVED the naked brothers band they were my first introduction to fandom even seeing them in concert as a kid. its a shame how to rock wasn't big like i hoped at the time. i was huge fan of cymphonique miller growing up and still am. I'm glad she's back doing music again.
I loved Make it pop! Not really for the plot but for the music, it was written in a Kpop style of music and featured Asian main characters so I think it was the significant would later become a Kpop fan. The songs are so catchy and I still listen to them today!
I loved the Naked Brothers Band! The show was so good and I still remember some of their songs. I think I liked it because it had a soap opera aspect but I could follow along, the chemistry between the cast was heartfelt and the music NEVER missed.
I have to say, it took me a long time to watch all of the big time rush show. I saw a few episodes here and there, but it wasn’t my cup at tea. But always loved their music. I got tickets to their new tour which made me want to watch the show. I did not like the episodic formula at time and how much stuff they broke each episode, but I admired how wholesome it was. I love the friendships, how Katie had four older brothers not just one, and am so glad that Kendell’s mom dod not just let them get away with stuff unless it was being involved in the prank wars or she was just too tired to yell at them. They were so nice and loyal to each other and the friends they made along away. I did not watch all the Nick stuff because I was more of a Disney fan, but out of the ones, this was my favorite due to how sweet and wholesome it is plus the timeless songs.
My opinions: Naked Brothers Band - saw it a couple of times in passing, but I don't really remember my opinion on it. Big Time Rush - loved the music and the show. Victorious - liked the show on and off, but I loved the music. How to Rock - all of the elements were just okay. School of Rock - liked the show, but you're right about it basically being a kids' version of Glee.
I wouldn't say they failed. BTR was a smash hit in ratings and music sales and Victorious got about three seasons before it's premature cancelation. They didn't do AS WELL as the Disney teen sensations though.
How to rock was a really good show! It should have had another season. NBB I loved so much Alex Wolff was my first ever crush lol and BTR didn’t failed😭
"everything about this show was just so forgettable" i liked how to rock so much when it first aired :( as a tween, i was in my nlog era and super into "alternative" rock music and this show just captured that niche perfectly, ever since I remembered its existence I've been waiting for someone to talk about it
I actually really enjoyed Make It Pop as a kid. Honestly when you said the title I was in the middle of homework and it unlocked a memory for me. I personally wish it kept going. It was the only musical Nick show I liked beside Victorious
No other show will ever have the impact on me that the naked brothers band did. I LOVED Big Time Rush (enough that I've seen them twice) but I think nbb is what really made me fall in love with music (and the drama of sitcoms lol)
I had the naked brothers band on dvd as a kid and I loved it. The show was at its best when it was focused on the Rosalina drama. When Rosalina left the band for the guy with the fake accent, when Nat wolf damaged that musician’s (I wanna say piano player?) Finger because he thought the guy kissed Rosalina, etc. I’m sure it wouldn’t hit the same now but it definitely worked at the time.
Naked brothers band was my one of my favorite Nick shows. I was very sad when it got cancelled and that you can’t find it on any streaming apps ): I still fangirl when I see Nat or Alex in anything.
Out of these big time rush was the most successful and it had a finale. Victorious was robbed of a finale with that dumb cheese segment ending the show I haven’t saw naked brothers band but my brother said it was a solid show How to rock shouldve lasted longer and I had no memory of the show until I watched it on paramount plus (must’ve not have reruns at all) School of rock was in my generation of live action Nick technically and I think it was really solid
i used to be a huge make it pop fan as a kid but never heard anybody else ever acknoledge its existence, I also remember catching a few episodes of School of Rock
Guess I'm probably one of the only people who actually watched the School of Rock TV series in this comment section and actually enjoyed it. I thought it had its own charm to it and I liked the characters. That being said, I never watched the original movie and I think that's what made it more enjoyable and allowed me to understand it on its own a bit more than others might because I think what kinda buried the show was the fact that it wasn't what the movie was nor do I think they were trying to be like the movie and they wanted to do their own thing whilst using the basic concept of the movie as a base and then building things from there. That being said, the 3rd season is probably also what buried the show in its grave because what with it being the longest season as well as the one with the highest budget since it has all these big gags and stunts and performances in place of any semblance of plot.
Naked Brothers Band actually did really well. I know it did for me! I had all their albums, posters and everything growing up. To call it a failed show is a overrated statement. It did really well and they even went on tour
There's a huge flaw with your summary and discuss of Naked Brothers Bands that kind of makes some of what you said invalid.. Nickelodeon didn't conceptualize or create The Naked Brothers Band the group or the show, they just discovered them. They were already a recording group and had already written and performed songs and filmed a pilot for a show (which was very similar to what ended up being the show) Nickelodeon picked it/them up, made some changes and that's what we got. Nickelodeon in no way created them to rival Disney, though I'm sure that's what they were hoping when they signed them.
Um BTR wasn’t cancelled BTR we’re touring so much and I think they had a Great finale and also it was a good show too and it wasn’t a failure it was a great success
Max Schneider had so many amazing, truly quality hits. With his abilities I don't know how he didn't get bigger. His talents are out of this world. 😮 Also, I've been a fan of BTR since 2009 and I'd say they're doing just fine. Sure, they don't have the popularity of Jonas Brothers but they don't need to, honestly.
I loved make it pop in italy you could see it in single plattform and i remember that i was crushed when they removed it from all plattforms i really thank you for unlocking a memory❤️
Big Time Rush was and still is so underrated! I still love BTR to this day! I still listen to all their songs! I love their newest album! All their songs are so good! I'm so glad they're together again and touring! Their concerts are amazing! Big Time Rush forever! Rusher forever! The show was so good back then too!
There was that time nickelodeon made the Wonder Girls movie in 2012 that starred the members of the Kpop group Wonder Girls (pre disbandment) and had the man (Park Jin young) who founded their entertainment company JYP entertainment playing the manager. It was a fun little movie but has went pretty under the radar and not many people talk about it. It aired on TeenNick i think.
I must have been the only person who liked School of Rock, because I really enjoyed how flushed out everyone's character was and how they interacted, and the crazy situations they'd find themselves in. I even did a review of every episode explaining what I thought worked and what I thought didn't work.
I loved make it pop it was a nickelodeon teen drama musical series. It was like every which way perfect for early teens before you start watch show like pretty little liars and Riverdale.

I went to see BTR for the first time this year they sold out everywhere they went , I don’t think BTR got the chance they need because they had a lot of good music and funny episodes in the show , they are so underrated and it’s so un fair

Make It Pop was my favorite of these failed nickelodeon musical shows,i loved the plots and songs, ive seen people say they aren't that good but i disagree the season 2 soundtrack is amazing to me
I wonder if Nick decided to make a deal with MTV to play their talents videos (BTR and Victoria Justice) on MTV would their careers been better. Though did MTV play music videos during the years 2010-2013? I know they did in the mid-2000s in the mornings.
By the early 2010s, MTV scarcely played music. I think they only played videos during weekday mornings but other than that, they aired nothing but reality shows.
Not only that, they were only promoted on TeenNick under Nick Cannon’s label management as well as him running TeenNick. Plus, TeenNick’s audience wasn’t as big as regular Nickelodeon’s audience.
I was OBSESSED with Make It Pop. It’s definitely more underground compared to other Nickelodeon shows, but I loved it growing up. The music was so good
I always feel bad for Make it Pop bc it never got time to get it's barings and an Asian cast and k-pop reps are so rare in English media. Nick rushed n' dumped it.

I honestly would have seen so much potential in How to Rock.
My Paramount+ binge for it was very worth it, they had a handful of good music & characters.
Yeah, I agree. This show is underrated and I enjoyed it. It should've been given more of a chance.
Go with Gravity is such a banger!
@@parisewellington3664hell yea it sucks I have to listen to it only on UA-cam
I’m going to binge it for the first time and I’m pretty excited
14:00 thank you, I also hated the Ariana fans saying she shoulda been the clear star, bro she was a nobody, AND THATS NOT HOW THE DAN SCHNEIDER FORMULA WORKED, you grabbed a former star, and made them a spin off All That-Kenan & Kel - Amanda Show - Drake and Josh - iCarly - Sam & Cat. Zoey 101 was an outlier bc Britney Spears had a sister, and then that lead to Victorious, but they had already chose Victoria Justice bc she was on iCarly
Two things
1. Jamie Lynn Spears was a cast member on All That, then she got Zoey 101
2. Victoria Justice was on Zoey 101 before she played Shelby on iCarly; that’s why we were excited for that episode because we already knew Victoria from Zoey 101
no victoria was picked cause of zoey 101.
The whole show has an identity crisis if you think about it 😅
She had young Spider-Man energy.
Who remembers Make it Pop?🙈
LMAO YESS
loved that show
one of the girls from the show has a UA-cam channel during rona she rewatched a few episodes
That show was sooo good
their songs were so catchy
Victorious and Big Time Rush are my 2 favorite nick shows of all time. Hard to say they failed
Same
Yay mentioning Big Time Rush being inspired by The Monkees!!!
I think it’s so important to note that this concept was already done and proven successful in the 60s with the Monkees getting legit number 1 chart hits.
Also there’s some BTR episodes and moments that are definitely paying homage to Beatles and Monkees (which The Monkees were a Beatles inspired thing)
Although Micky Dolenz of the Monkees has compared The Monkees to Glee specifically I think this whole phenomena going on in the 2000s-2010s is similar.
I so happy the Monkees got a mention I was skeptical they wouldn’t 😂
But i remember some kpop fans out there was bashing the concept and calling it cringe before they had the chance to air it. lol
Have you listened to any of BTRs recent music? It's still so good!
I love it@@parisewellington3664
I’m so glad we live in a world where BTR is alive and thriving and 1D isn’t around anymore.
The JBros actually got their start on Nick in the Zoey 101 spring break episode, where their song Mandy was featured.
the difference is the Jonas Brothers were a band before Disney. They signed to Hollywood records after being dropped from their first label. Only after they had success did Disney decided to put them into their shows as cameos.
@@TDIfan10 they are basically dead but ok xD
@@Poptanic they’ve got an upcoming European tour and a movie in the works 👍🏻
it's funny you mentioned "make it pop" cause a couple of days ago i was hanging out with my friends and they began talking about being huge fans of this show about a girl group that was sort of kpop-esque inspired from nickelodeon in 2015 and i had never heard about it? and then they began showing me the songs from it and i wondered why i didn't watch it back in the day because it seemed right up my alley lol
It was my childhood
I could not watch that show. I hated the mockumentary style and the cinematography.
The thumbnail feels like an attack because I loved How to Rock, Victorious and Big Time Rush😭😭😭
Only big time rush was successful
True!
What’s funny for me is that while I watched the show, I for some reason had no clue they were an actual band for years. I have no clue why I didn’t know since it was pretty obvious lol
Or maybe I did know but I just forgot for a while until my friend brought them up and reminded me.
I'm glad she's back doing music again.
i wish rags would've been a series. Great actors and good music.
(Make it pop) was a great show and with great music, it was a Canadian show and can be a bit silly, but the way it was filmed made it more realistic
My opinions:
Naked Brothers Band - saw it a couple of times in passing, but I don't really remember my opinion on it.
Big Time Rush - loved the music and the show.
Victorious - liked the show on and off, but I loved the music.
How to Rock - all of the elements were just okay.
School of Rock - liked the show, but you're right about it basically being a kids' version of Glee.
I loved BTR and Victorious. Sucks to hear they “failed”
Well, they didn't fail. BTR was a smash hit in both the ratings and music sales.
"everything about this show was just so forgettable" i liked how to rock so much when it first aired :( as a tween, i was in my nlog era and super into "alternative" rock music and this show just captured that niche perfectly, ever since I remembered its existence I've been waiting for someone to talk about it
BTR was my favorite band as a kid, I watched their show all the time and they were my first concert when I was in middle school.
My soul left my body when he said make it pop, I think I accessed a part of my memory I forgot
I loved How to Rock. I was so upset when it was cancelled and it didn’t even get a good ending. It had so much potential
You should make a video covering the 2000s Nickelodeon show Tania and the 2010s make it pop shows. Both really good and underrated.
NBB was my favorite show, and I still listen to their music to this day❤
Make it pop was very good and it had really great music. It had 2 seasons but it was sadly cancelled.
Naked brothers band was my one of my favorite Nick shows. I was very sad when it got cancelled and that you can’t find it on any streaming apps ): I still fangirl when I see Nat or Alex in anything.
I think BTR is definitely Nickelodeon’s most successful endeavor, they are still going strong with releasing constant music, tours and everything.
Out of these big time rush was the most successful and it had a finale.
Victorious was robbed of a finale with that dumb cheese segment ending the show
I haven’t saw naked brothers band but my brother said it was a solid show
How to rock shouldve lasted longer and I had no memory of the show until I watched it on paramount plus (must’ve not have reruns at all)
School of rock was in my generation of live action Nick technically and I think it was really solid
Thank you for mentioning how victorious was robbed of a graduation finale. It still hurts me to this day.
Big time rush during the iCarly and Victorious era will always live in my head
I will say the opening theme was a banger
I'm 39 and enjoyed The Naked Brothers Band. I watched it with my a lot younger brother and I enjoyed the music. I loved the theme song
I really wish How to Rock got more success
i used to be a huge make it pop fan as a kid but never heard anybody else ever acknoledge its existence, I also remember catching a few episodes of School of Rock
That being said, the 3rd season is probably also what buried the show in its grave because what with it being the longest season as well as the one with the highest budget since it has all these big gags and stunts and performances in place of any semblance of plot.
bro i loved school of rock, i used to watch it on nickelodeon at my grandmas house ALL the time.
omg my sister and i looooooved make it pop! i honestly don't remember the songs being super popular, but i enjoyed the show nonetheless! :)
i dont think btr failed
Naked Brothers Band actually did really well. I know it did for me! I had all their albums, posters and everything growing up. To call it a failed show is a overrated statement. It did really well and they even went on tour
i remember make it pop... just not the story. i only really remember how annoying one of the characters were
Not me literally watching this for School of Rock😅
For real
Tbh justice for Make It Pop and How to Rock, I got bullied so bad for being pretty much the only fan my age back then lol
I really liked school of rock when I was a kid . I'm sad it didn't get any recognition
How to rock was so slept on 😭
OMG MAKE IT POP I FORGOT ABT IT I WAS OBSESSED WITH THAT SHOW AS A KID I LOVED IT SO FUCKING MUCH YOU JUST UNLOCKED LIKE A LITERAL CORE MEMORY FOR ME
There's a huge flaw with your summary and discuss of Naked Brothers Bands that kind of makes some of what you said invalid..
BTR had two tours since getting back together. I was able to go to the one last year😅
Um BTR wasn’t cancelled BTR we’re touring so much and I think they had a Great finale and also it was a good show too and it wasn’t a failure it was a great success
Max Schneider had so many amazing, truly quality hits. With his abilities I don't know how he didn't get bigger. His talents are out of this world. 😮
Also, I've been a fan of BTR since 2009 and I'd say they're doing just fine.
How to rock was so underrated I actually liked the show
I must have been the only person who liked School of Rock, because I really enjoyed how flushed out everyone's character was and how they interacted, and the crazy situations they'd find themselves in. I even did a review of every episode explaining what I thought worked and what I thought didn't work.
I REMEMBER AND I LOVE SCHOOL OF ROCK
I loved make it pop it was a nickelodeon teen drama musical series. It was like every which way perfect for early teens before you start watch show like pretty little liars and Riverdale.
I love so much NBB's, I think it's one of my favorite Nickelodeon show till this day and I still have their songs on my playlists, Nat & Alex are genuinely good musicians tho!
"In this video we're going to look at some of Disney's failed musical programs"😂 I THINK NOT
My enjoyment of BTR explains so freaking much. Never knew it was by the same guy from Ned's Declassified.
BTR is better than any Disney show, idgaf. Best musical show ever
School of Rock was a fun show , I enjoyed watching it with my kids
I went to see BTR for the first time this year they sold out everywhere they went , I don’t think BTR got the chance they need because they had a lot of good music and funny episodes in the show , they are so underrated and it’s so un fair
I remember Make It Pop. Although I never really watched it, only in passing because when I'd be at my grandmother's house my cousin would watch nothing but Nickeleoden. It didn't do anything for me.
2:37 Big time fail. You said "Disney's failed musical programs"
School of Rock were featured in a music festival back when the show was still airing, it was a kid's music festival but idk if they had more shows
you forgot the most forgotten one School Gyrlz
but it was tv movie that aired on nick
Not only that, they were only promoted on TeenNick under Nick Cannon’s label management as well as him running TeenNick. Plus, TeenNick’s audience wasn’t as big as regular Nickelodeon’s audience.
This video made me realise I was the only one watching all these unknown shows religiously 😭
I Love Your Channel & Videos
Thanks so much
I was OBSESSED with Make It Pop. It’s definitely more underground compared to other Nickelodeon shows, but I loved it growing up. The music was so good
Musical shows that were underrated, Naked Brothers band, How to Rock, and Make itbpop5
I always feel bad for Make it Pop bc it never got time to get it's barings and an Asian cast and k-pop reps are so rare in English media. Nick rushed n' dumped it.
BTR deserved so much better :/
I loved cymphonique Omg. And make it pop was actually pretty good for the time. The songs were good, & makes sense why im into kpop now lmao
I loved make it pop growing up, but I stopped watching Nickelodeon when it was like halfway through the first season, and I always told myself I would catch up but I never did
School of rock was literally my childhood though so underrated
BTR and School of Rock ate. PROVE ME WRONG!
I will always Victorious and will always hate we never got a proper ending.
